I used them before and was very pleased. We has a problem and I immediately called Chavez and left a message. No response. The next day I called back giving them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy. Left another message and still did not get a response. Finally, I took there message suggestion and sent an email to their address. That was yesterday and sitll no response. See you Chavez Plumbing. You have apparently grown to big too fast and have not kept up with the administrative part of your business.

This is the second time I have used Chavez and I received the same high level of service as the first time. I called them in the morning and they came out the same day. They repaired the flow of water to my shower. The plumber was very knowledgeable and working with them was a pleasant experience.

we had standing water under 15yo washing machine. ended up being due to washer dying, along with incorrectly sized catch basin. had the dead washer removed the night before, but wanted someone to come out & ensure all was ok with pipes, etc. plumber found no issues, and joked that "as much as i'd like to do $1000 service, i just can't find anything!" chavez plumbing showed up on time, were reasonably priced, and were professional. we'll use them in the future for sure.

Chavez Plumbing was able to come out on a weekend for us and repair the issue. We were about to leave on vacation and I saw the water in a sink t from the a/c unit. We called about 4-5 people to check on pricing. They were all very high because it was a weekend. Chavez was very reasonable and even gave us a discount for being Angies List members. He was able to come out and find the problem and fixed it before we left. We would highly recommend him and use him again if need be.

I called to get an estimate and someone was out the same day. The guy who came out to the house was prompt, polite and professional. I then called to schedule the work and was glad that the two plumbers were also prompt and professional. They were patient with me when I decided that I wanted to change the location of one of the spickets and made a correction when I pointed out that they had routed some of the piping between a gap in one of my house's piles (Heights Pier and Beam) and beams. Overall the work was done well and I plan of calling Chavez pluming in the future.

Chavez dispatched a plumber the same day that I called. Once the required part was obtained, they returned promptly and completed installation without any trouble.

This is a great, family-owned, plumbing company. Very professional and responsive. The A/C issue was a bit of an emergency (could not turn on A/C until they came out) and they were here within a couple of hours. They are easy to work with, professional and friendly. Enjoy having them as our plumber service.

The answering service was quick and the plumber showed up a few hours later as promised. We received a bid of $7000 the next morning. It was explained that the owner was in Europe on vacation which is why it took so long to get the bid back. We had another company bid the same job and the bid came in at $1800. We decided that the high bid from Chavez was to help pay for his European vacation. Ha. We went with the cheaper company who had the job completed the following day and have been very happy and with absolutely no problems. I can't understand how two bids for the same job could be so far apart --- $5000 difference is quite a big difference on a full day job.

Work went very well. Timely and restored the appearance of the yard when completed.

I called Chavez plumbing around 9:45 am. Water was leaking from the ceiling in my kitchen. I was told someone would be out between 12:00 and 5:00 pm, and they would call me when they were on their way. Around 3:45, I received a call that they would be here in 30 minutes. It took about an hour, but it was rush hour, so it didn't upset me too much. Luis and Caesar got right to work. Luckily I have access to the attic right off the kitchen. They found the leak quickly and gave me two options: put a clamp on the pinhole or replace the pipe. I opted for the clamp, but when they took the existing patch off they discovered the pipe was cut and was being held together with two clamps. So the only option was to replace the pipe. They had to go to the store to buy the pipe and returned in about 25 minutes. They quickly installed the copper pipe and also emptied the water that collected in my light fixture. Then turned the water back on and checked for leaks. I had also asked them to take before and after pictures, which they did. All in all, it was a good experience for me, except for the price, which I thought was a little high. This is the first company I have used from Angie's list. I felt comfortable using them because of the high ratings and service awards they received.

The guys called when they arrived and were ahead of schedule which was fine for us. They checked everything out, showed us the pipes, inspected the pipes in the attic to confirm and explained the mechanism that is required to bring the water up to the 3rd floor. He also explained warning signs for us to listen for to prevent major damage. He also reassured us that our pipes appear to be in great condition and they don't expect us to see a problem any time soon.

Called their offices at 10 AM to have them check out a water heater that stopped working. Was told that they will call me back after 12 noon with arrival time. No call back by 16:45, therefore I called the office to be told that I should continue to wait since the crews must be busy. I reminded them that my time is as valuable as theirs and a simple courtesy call would have been nice! She assured me that she'll call me right back, call that never materialized, so at 18:00 I took the courtesy to call them back and cancel. I'm surprised how their professionalism has deteriorated. I used them back in 2010 and their response time and professionalism was far superior. I guess they have enough business as of late! There are other qualified plumbers in Houston!

The two man crew arrived on time and began work immediately. They were professional and made the repairs asked for in an excellent manner. I was very pleased with the work.

They were prompt to arrive at the appointed time in the morning, calling us to let us know they were en route - quick and efficient in their performance, friendly, polite and professional in their attitude. Tidily removed the debris - they were able to return the defective part to us a couple of days later when the insurance agents asked if it was available, kindly leaving the part in our mailbox the following day. We would use them again and recommend them to our friends.

Three plumbers came the same day I called. They cut a hole in the garage ceiling to access the leaking pipe. They replaced the pipe. The job took about 1.5 hours. I was very pleased with the prompt service but did feel the cost was a bit expensive for the time and materials involved.

The service was prompt and professional. The quality of the work was excellant. The first visit was for 1 leak, however they found another and repaired it as well. I was so impressed that I hired them to replace my toilets upstairs. I could not have been more impressed with the quality of their work. Julio and his team will be my plumbers for life.

I last used Chavez Plumbing on April 16th to put in a faucet in my kitchen sink, he rebuild 3 toilets, replaced all of my water valves, he looked everywhere for leaks, and he hooked up my refrigerator ice maker.

Everything went perfectly when he came. He got me a new faucet and installed it the same day within 2 hours.

I called on Tuesday afternoon and they were able to come the next day. They quoted me a price over the phone to install new bathroom toilets and faucets. The dispatcher called 30 minutes prior to arrival as arranged and the 2 plumbers showed up on time. They were very professional and friendly. They were through in 4 hours and I was very pleased with their work. I appreciated the fact that they could respond so quickly, haul the old toilets away and not give me a "hard sell" once they were onsite. They performed the work at the quoted price and honored my 10% Angie's List coupon without raising their quote. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

There was NO CHARGE at all for this call. This was the third time we have used this company.

Mr. Chavez was prompt for appoinment to provide estimate and discuss the desired result. He suggested the job could be completed in two days and emailed the cost estimate. Two days went into four days. Although all crew members were courteous it was clear the "helpers" did not get along with the tile man which made for unpleasantness. In fact the tile man worked alone on the final day, when he clearly could have used some help. I had to call Mr. Chavez to correct plumbing work done by the tile man. I feel there were "issues" going on that impacted customer service. I hope Mr. Chavez has resolved these as they reflected badly on the company and the customer experience.

When I first called and explained the problem I was told that it was most likely the AC line that needed flushed. I was given an estimate of $185.

Couldn't be more satisfied! The guys called before coming, arrived as advised, understood what I needed done (& they accepted that I knew what needed to be done), they found & cleared the blockage & reported accurately where they found it (it is a recurring blockage just shy of the tie-in, which the the city has scheduled for replacement but . . .). No residual mess, & they now have the record for quickest effective resolution. Too bad the city won't hire them!
