Chavez Painting

I hire Jose Chavez to paint my bathroom walls, door, and trim. He was nice when showed up and appeared professional. Job took longer than initially expected. Jose started out with prep then has a worker finished prep but never showed back up. The ceiling was not cleaned off and has color of wall paint onto ceiling. The section of the ceiling was replaced so the coat of ceiling paint that was applied totally bleed in and it don't look like the ceiling has been painted. Jose promise to come back to repaint but I never heard back from him. I called and left voicemail message. I also texted and I have yet to hear one single thing back from him. I wasn't treated fairly and was very disappointed.

Hire Chavez Painted - Jose to paint all of open areas door and trim. Paint looked nice but he didn't quite finish up. I called and text but never heard anything back from him.

I have used Joe in the past for interior sheetrock repair and painting and he always does excellent work. He and his crew did a great job painting the exterior of my 2 story home. He is always reasonably priced. I would not use anyone else! The price included the paint.

As always, the work was impeccable. Joe and his team does an amazing job at making the edges look perfect. This last trip I was a little unhappy that one of the workers got a smudge of paint on the carpet in 2 or 3 spots that I found later. Joe is an amazing guy and is as nice as can be, sometimes over books himself and doesnt follow up with new arrival times. Other than that, he is great!

Painted living room , bathroom and hallways and baseboards. Very happy with services and reasonable prices.

I have been using Joe for over four years. He is my first call for anything paint, wall related. He is even willing to do small things like hand pictures, curtains, install ceiling fans. Always a fair price and always done professionally.

This outfit was was very good. They we're prompt at giving me a fair estimate. They were on time and very careful to cover and tape everything. They painted the whole house, ceiling, doors and the trim. I asked them if they could stain my front door and they said no problem. They did a real good job on that door. I also requested that they replace the rotten trim around my back door. They did a good job on that as we'll. Jose said the work would be done in 6 days, but to my surprise his crew finished early. Jose, also cleaned my light in the entry way which was on my 18 foot ceiling. I recommend Chavez Painting.

He does what he says he is going to and is always one time. He is very upfront with quotes and all of the work that needs to be done. He matched the ceiling paint and saved me money on that job. He is very honest and trustworthy.

Good quality work. Best price of several quotes obtained. Easy to contact and responsive. Left the extra paint with us if we needed for touch-ups.

Chavez painting was excellent. The quoting system was comprehensive and they came in under several bids. We have an older home with wood panels we wanted painted. Joe Chavez was very knowledgeable and had prior experience with wood panels. We had a custom gray and white paint job on our den and it came out excellent. We had other rooms painted and they were good but the lines weren't as clean as we wanted them to be. But my wife says I'm a perfectionist. All in all. Very good work at a reasonable price. Ps. I really wanted to attach a picture but couldn't figure out how.

Jose Chavez painting did a large paint job for us with little advance notice as we were in a bind with a previous painter quitting on the job. I was in a great position to compare their crew to the previous one, and I can say with 100% confidence that their crew was professional, honest, courteous, and they did a spectacular job. Special note that these guys went above and beyond when I called them out for another job, and they travelled hours in traffic to help me in Katy even though they were working a job in Galveston they day i needed help. I was honored by their commitment to quality and dedication to get my job done by my deadline. I give them the highest recommendation.

This job was perfect. Top notch work. The quality was spectactular. He takes great pride in his workmanship. No detail gets overlooked. He was also able to complete it in a timely manner.

Everything went really well. Jose and his crew were very professional and worked hard to make sure we were completely satisfied. They started by taping and tarping to make sure the floors were protected and made significant, visible progress every day. They did significant drywall repair and painted all of my interior walls (3700 sq. ft. house) in 7-8 days, including oil based painting of built in shelves. They were very competitively priced and I felt that additional work that was added at my request was priced very fairly. I will definitely use Jose again and would recommend him to anyone.

Jose and his helper did a great job. This is the second time I've had him do interior painting for me and I've been very pleased with both eperiences. Reasonable pricing, professional work. And if anything needed to be corrected Jose's response has always been, and quot;yes ma'am!and quot;.

This was great. They were quick with their work and gave us the best price.

Jose came in on the lower end of other painters (we got 4 quotes). Although he got his truck stolen the day before the job and lost lots of his supplies, he still got the job started as planned and finished job as planned and on time. Needless to say that after a very large project, we have found some spots that need to be touched up, but Jose wants us to wait a week or two and will come fix everything at once. The group was great in that they repaired walls, fixed trim, and matched paint. The entire house was done and it looks great. Let me also note that there was a little extra painting requested mid job on some closets that he did without charging extra.

He came by to give us a quote and later told us that it would take awhile before he could start on the project. We waited on the quote, but it never came after several phone messages requesting the quote. Messages were not returned.

Overall, my husband had to monitor the entire experience which took longer than anticipated. We even provided all the supplies, he had another contractor come and install the doors, which now are already sagging. The painting helper and Mr Chavez himself were consistently late and as I mentioned, my husband had to point out things that were done incorrectly and missed altogether.

Excellent! There were a few issues along the way - one day the painter neglected to show up but the owner, Mr. Chavez, came out and personally finished the job early the next morning. Having owned my own business, I do know, as owners, we can't coontrol evry employees' actions.

Mr Chavez and his crew did an excellent job of doing all three porches, and they were very meticulous in doing the detail. It was a multi day process, because each part needed to dry before the next step was done. They had to prime all the railing along the porch, because the builder failed to do that, and the paint would have just fallen off otherwise I especially appreciate that they used a good grade of paint and did not water it down or use a sprayer. He also was very careful of my landscaping during the whole process, although it was difficult I know because of having to get in between the plants and the porch to paint. i would certainly recommend him to anyone who wants a meticulous job done.

Got a one day turnaround from when I called. Very reasonable and finished quickly. Also gave me an estimate on a room I needed painted in the future which was also reasonably quoted

Price was reasonable, showed up on time, finished when promised. Overall quality of work was not the best, did a poor job chalking and some of the wall texturing is sloppy. Didn't clean up all of their paint drips.

Did a very good job, painting was especially well done with little mess. My only disappointent was the time required for them to submit a detailed invoice (suitable for submitting to the insurance company). Professionalism was beyond reproach, but just wish the post-work papperwork would have been better.

They replied within two days, came out to look at project but then took two weeks to send us a bid. Bid was high. We hired another painter and the job was almost completed by this time.
