If you are looking to have your siding replaced, Mike Gutherie with Champion Forest Exteriors, is the man for the job. He is what small business is all about. He is a fine Christian gentleman. His crew is top notch. He has guys that have been with him for over 20 years. He treats them like family. They are a team. This home is our 3rd to remodel. Out of ALL the contractors we have used Mike is #1!!! During this last remodel, we replaced our windows. It was a high price tag for us, but important on our list. We purchased top of the line Simonton windows. The company we used sent third party contractors that did the worst job. And the company owner could have cared less. After that, I was broken. HOWEVER, we had to replace our siding. It was failing. After reading all the reviews on Nextdoor, we gave Mike a call. After meeting with Mike, we knew he was the only person we needed to call. We explained our situation and experience with our windows. We were very clear that if it needed to be fixed when they got the old siding off we wanted it fixed. Mike and his crew fixed our home. They fixed the rotting base plates and all the rotting wood. All hammers stopped when we found there was no insulation in the walls. We purchased insulation and they put it in the walls. They never left any part of my home exposed to the elements overnight. They cleaned up every day. They even were able to put in an outdoor light in an area that needed to be lit at night. And those beautiful Simonton windows…they fixed those too. Mike also fixed my heart toward contractors. He did exactly what he said he would do, did it to perfection, and always with joy. The beauty of Mike’s business is that he only takes on what he and HIS crew can handle and what makes good business sense for all parties. He is so humble and gives the credit to the company's success to his crew. They only use Sherwin Williams Duration paint. Why? It is the best. He only deals in one kind of window. They are experts in that window. Mike and his crew make it their business to be the best at what they are doing using the best materials. His price for our siding was very reasonable. I am a perfectionist. I am here to tell you that the siding on our home and my now fixed windows are PERFECT!!! Please give Mike a call. My home is always open to anyone who would like to see for themselves my testimony about an amazing company. Oh…BTW…they do windows, roofing, and decks too. ;-)

They REFUSED to come out and quote the job. I was told "we're not doing Harvey work or insurance work." What?!!!!!! My items must be replaced regardless of how they were damaged. What horrible customer service! I will never use them and will tell everyone I know not to bother calling them either.

I need to replace siding on my home to the tune of $30K. As any prudent home owner would do, I'm getting multiple quotes before hiring someone. CFE came over and due to my poor scheduling, arrived while another company was working up a quote. I offered to reschedule, or if he wanted, he could get the measurements and we could talk later. He asked me how many quotes I was getting, I told him 8. Then he threw his fit, "Seriously?! Oh, I'm not interested, most people only get 3-4 quotes" and stormed off. He looked at me like I had just clubbed the last baby seal on earth. Very Rude and unprofessional. He stormed off like someone stole his toy from the sand box. Must be nice to turn down $30K worth of work. To each, his own I guess....

We had to repalce our roof due to hail damage. Champion Forest Exteriors had installed the roof initially about 10 years prior and we were extremely pleased so called them again. Mike Guthrie gave us a prompt estimate. His workers came out when promised and finished the work in three days, and cleaned up the area completely. We were very happy with the work done, the workers, and Mr. Guthrie. We have recommended him and his company to several of our friends and have gotten good feedback from them.

Went very well. Customer service was excellent. Price was competitive. Quality workmanship. Knowledgable and trustworthy. Punctual. Didn't cut any corners. Very honest. Started work exactly on time, finished on time. Gave good advice.

If this is the same Mike Guthrie that was formally Champions Forest Exteriors, keep looking for a window contractor. The kid who put the windows in my kitchen did a rotten job. There are neither plum nor level. This job was the 4th. time that we have had new windows installed in a house, so I had a reasonable expectation of what is a good. job.. This one was not. I showed Mr. Guthrie the window that is 1/2 inch lower on one side than the other. He totally ignored me. He said the window was just fine. I still have to keep the blind closed because the window is so out of plum it causes my to be dizzy. All they needed to do was put a shim in one side of the window opening before setting the window in, and they were either too lazy or ignorant to even care to do a competent job.

Excellent. Mike worked with me and my insurance adjuster to properly size the roof and ensure I would be appropriately reimbursed. The work crew was very fast, friendly and kept the work area neat. This appears to be a very good quality job. Although some other contractors bid lower, I am sure I got a quality job at a fair price.

The shingles blew off our house in the hurricane. They came in and replaced the blown off shingles, which saved us from having to put on a whole new roof. We had used them before when they resided our house, so we had already had a previously good experience with them.

Champion Forest Exteriors did a great job. The roof has high gables and we haven't had any problems so far. The installers were polite, professional, caring and honest. I will use them again to install another roof and I would highly recommend them.

Champion Forest Exteriors did a great job, the guys were on time, were polite, friendly and they cleaned up all the mess. They did the job fast, but there was just one problem; there was a small leak, however they came right out to fix it. I didn't have to wait and I haven't had any problems with the roof since. It's top grade shingles and carries a good warranty. I would highly recommend this company and I would use them again.

Champion Forest Roofing did a lot of work for the price. They stripped everything off the roof, replaced the plywood, put on top grade shingles, and did an excellent job. We were very pleased. The work guys were pleasant, friendly, and focused on doing a good job. They cleaned up all the mess, finished quickly, and we haven't had a bit of trouble from this roof. We have recommended them to other people, and we will use them again if needed.
