I cannot speak highly enough about this company and Eric- the owner in particular. He gives discounts to veterans (he is a veteran himself), which I really appreciate. I selected him based on his great google reviews, and he lives up to expectations. We hired him on 2 separate occasions- the first time for a home we were under contract to purchase. His thorough inspection report found foundation issues and all sorts of other issues so we did not purchase that home. We hired him for a second time for the home we ultimately purchased and still refer to his inspection report as we get our home fixed up. He had the report to us within a day or two and you're able to get it digitally and send it to other people, if needed. My REALTOR told me that she had never seen such a thorough inspection report- this helped us get $1,500 toward closing costs back from the sellers, that we otherwise wouldn't have received. Eric truly loves, and is good at his job. He uses a thermal scanner so he can see any issues within the walls. He was at our house for HOURS doing his inspection was always very professional and tactful in his interactions with us. We recommended him to our friends who were buying a house, and they did not use him because it would have been $100 more than another inspector they ended up hiring, and that inspector missed some very obvious issues that ultimately cost them thousands of dollars after they discovered the issue once they had closed on their house. It is worth every penny, spending extra money on a good inspection and I am so pleased with the service we received both times we hired Eric.

Eric was recommended by another reputed inspector for a frame inspection and he was very helpful in pointing out the defects, explaining them and producing a detailed report the same night. The report was well-organized and cited the relevant IRC code with diagrams. Eric and Charles spent close to 3 hours on site and not only walked me through the defects but also guided me, as a first time homebuyer, on how to approach the builder in fixing the defects. Subsequently, he also verified the fixes by reviewing the photographs I took and that helped bring closure on the inspection. I strongly recommend CES Inspections and intend to use them for my final inspection as well.

The inspection was for the purposes of purchasing a house. For the visit he came he said "I do not recommend having the inspection today because the gas was not on. The inspection would not be complete" He did not charge us for the first visit. He still looked at a few things while he was there anyways. He found that the brick wall was not done right. We would have had potentially a big problem. He looked at the roof and found it needed to be replaced within the next several years. He saved us so much money and so much headache. I also used him when I was building a new house. He did a frame inspection for me. He quickly found that the roof was not done right and the builder agreed. He also found problems with load bearing beams and had the manufacturer confer that there would be no problems. When he provided the report he was incredibly detailed. He was very knowledgeable in every aspect. I asked him to come back after the builder adjusted things and every time he was incredibly helpful. He made sure that all issues were corrected. I fully trust his judgement. He was the most helpful and detailed inspector I have worked with. He is excellent. If I had questions afterward he would respond right away. I even had to reschedule several time and he was always flexible. If I could give him an A++++ I would. He also did a final inspection for me. This was also very thorough and high quality work.
