They come out twice a year for a heat check and an air conditioning check.

They’re good. It was an “A” for explaining things afterwards. We have been using them for about 12 years.

I won't be using them again. I've done business with them previously in a span of over 15 to 20 years. They didn't show up on time.

I have been using them for like probably over 20 years. I had a coupon. They are honest. I do not think they have ever charged me for something they did not really fix. When they can get out after hours around weekends, they will if they can. They are a small company so they do the best they can. I think they are fairly priced. It is a fair price for what they do.

They did a fair job for what I got. They were professional and did the best they could.

On October 1st our AC stopped working and we contacted our Whole Home Warranty Company. This began 3 weeks of frustration with 3 different service companies of which none could relieve us of the 85 degree plus temperatures we were experiencing in our home! Finally, our warranty company gave us permission to contact someone out of their network and we immediately called Central City Air who had helped us previously with the Dirty Sock Syndrome in our home. This was another issue Central City Air resolved completely where others had just used a “Band-Aid” approach. We spoke with Suzanne (President), after hours, who immediately understood our frustration and assured us that they would do everything in their power to get our system working again. She personally called our warranty company directly and her crew was in our home within hours of the call. Following a complete evaluation, Santiago and his team immediately made a diagnosis, had the system repaired and cooling in just a few hours. The technicians were very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. We would sincerely like to thank Suzanne and her team for their personal and professional approach to resolving our issue promptly. They diagnosed and repaired our system within just a few hours, accomplishing what others could not achieve in 3 weeks! They went above and beyond proving that customer care is their highest priority. We highly recommend Central City Air for their outstanding customer service, experienced technicians and the professional manner in which they conduct their business.

Central City Air is a professional organization. They have been my HVAC company for 15 years.

Returned from a trip on Sunday evening to find the blower on the HVAC had stopped working. Did some troubleshooting of my own and determined that the outdoor compressor was functioning. Freon was circulating cold. Indoor unit was iced up but blower refused to kick on. Likely culprit was one of the following: Bad capacitor on blower. Bad circuit board on blower. Bad blower. Electrical failure to the blower system. Temperatures were in the 90s. We went out and bought a small window unit so we could sleep that night in one room. First thing Monday morning, I began calling AC repair services. The first two said that there were a lot of failures that weekend and could not get to it until TUESDAY! I got Central City Air and explained my situation, and they said they would try their best to schedule me in that same day. Scheduled me for 4PM and arrived promptly. Ian (the technician) actually listened to what I had done troubleshooting-wise and didn't try to re-do all my steps. I found that refreshing, because often I find myself frustrated when a technician ignores what I'm telling them and does the exact same diagnostic steps I just told them I did. He went straight to the blower unit, diagnosed the circuit board as bad, and happened to have it in the truck. WINNING! Then he took some time to check out the rest of the system, including checking the amps drawn by the outdoor unit. Ended up replacing a capacitor there that was showing symptoms of degrading. Overall, very professional. Very knowledgeable. Prompt. Fast, and reasonably priced. I am very happy.

Professional service from their technician, they are always on top of all aspects. The summer checkup, checks my units for performance during the hardest time of the year. They have a standard list and go through every item. I always appreciate the people that they employ and their honesty. I have used Central City for almost 20 years and they are superb at design, installation and maintaining the A/C units. David Debian the founder of Central City always said it is not the heat it is the humidity! He designed his own evaporator coils and we have them in our house now. They truly know their business and don't just sell you something you don't need. Brian Dietzman heads up their design and does a remarkable job! Can't say enough about them!

usual ---very well. They found a crack in the furnace ,which could have had a serious result. We've used Central for the system install 15 years ago and they have serviced it since. We will not use for our new system because of pricing ,but they are very capable.

We were out of town, and got lightening strike or power surge or something. Fried porch lights, outside landscape lights, A/C circuit board, and several other things. Got back home to home over 85 degrees, Central City agreed to "work us in" because we were a prior customer. Although it was pretty late in the afternoon when the tech arrived, he was a welcome sight! He had the appropriate parts and did a professional, quick job. I would definitely recommend Central City to anyone. They are not the cheapest you can find, but theor service is always professional, and they will work with youto get you back up & running as quickly as they can.

I had a leak in my evaporator coil. I was charged $620 to replace freon, which almost immediately leaked out. I then replaced the evaporator coil for about $2000. The work was done in a competent and timely fashion. I got a $175 replate on the $620, but I was still charged $445 for freon that leaked out almost immediately. I think this charge is unfair. There was no "fix" to the problem until I paid almost $2000 for a new evaporator coil. I would up paying $445 for a fix that did not work.

I've been using them for years, and the staff is very knowledgeable and thorough. Additionally, the company stands behinds its products and its work which is why I chose them.

They were ok. He took a look at the system, but I did not ultimately end up choosing them for the work.

I used Central City Air for many years because of their quality and integrity until this incident last year.I called and wanted my AC checked - there was no malfunction - I had merely been away from home and not had an earlier chance. It was one of the hottest days of the year. The technician went upstairs opened the attic door and announced that the upstairs was too hot I needed to spend $3500 for an evaporator coil. I declined. This winter - over a year later - I had the AC checked - yes it was low some freon - but it got me through two summers and is working fine today. After this experience I would tell people to run away from Central City - they are not the company they used to be.

They are very professional. They really know what they are doing when they come out.

6 weeks after the checkup one of the two units I have broke down.I called and sceduled service call for the next day morning. I waited all morning and cancelled the call after they did not show up even at early afternoon. I hired another company to fix the issue. The technician fixed the issue told me that the other company should have detected the problem during their checkup. For the last year or so, I have not been getting enough cold air into my bedroom. When I asked this company, they said there is nothing that can be done as it is not possible to add additional duct work. The problem turned out to be freon leak. They should have known.

Air conditioner did not cool. Came exactly when they said they would. Diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes, told me the cost to repair, and fixed it. Checked out unit, gave me a checklist of all readings and results of inspection. Very happy.
