+ -1 moreI was looking for a house cleaning and Carrie the owner was the first to respond so I decided to go with her services. We spoke Weds and she told me she had an opening Friday at 8:30am. I said great I’ll take it and the price was reasonable too. I didn’t go into the office for this reason. Well 8:30 came around, 9:30, 10:30 no sign of the maid. I called Carrie about 4 times left 2 voicemails and no response. The whole day has gone by and I have yet to hear from anyone. I don’t understand how someone runs a business this way. Especially because she was seemed very pleasant and legit over the phone. Very misleading. If you want your house cleaned don’t call Carries because they’ll never show up. Save your breathe and give your business to someone who actually cares to show up.

+ -1 moreThe girl that I have comes every other week. She should probably do random checks on the homes to see if her workers are doing a good job. I don't think it should always be up to the homeowner to sit down and say, "You're not doing this, you're not doing this." Just like you would do anybody that works for you, you kind of checkup on how they're doing their job. She doesn't do that and then, it's not like she checks in with her clients to see if there is anything that she could do to improve her employees. I usually just tell my housekeeper, "You missed this, you missed that." Their price is reasonable for what they do. If I text her, she texts me back. I don't have any problem with them personally or anything, it's just things that they could do better or go a little slower and be more detailed.

Description of Work: Carrie is great in communicating, and is very attune to the wants and needs of the client. She pairs the client and cleaner for the best results possible. I have enjoyed having Cecelia in our home and hope to continue the working relationship for a long time. UPDATE September 2012 I have cancelled my services due to being unhappy overall. As my husband says, you are only paying $65, so that is pretty much all you should expect. At first glance the house is definitely cleaned (sinks, showers, counters), but week after week the same problems exist. Bases of furniture are not being dusted, nor bookshelf items being moved / picked up to clean under and behind them. I have used this service since late June, and as late September, there is still dust in areas that have never been touched by the person cleaning, and all within eye sight (meaning you dont have to go looking for the dust). I have also had sheets and pillow cases laid out, and either one or the other is changed, but not both. The clean bedding items are removed from on top of the bed and are placed on my dresser. I am also a stickler that when you pick something up, please put it back where it goes. I hate having to come home and redecorate or put things back where they belong. I have come home to find scales and rugs still left in the middle of the floor, trash cans either outside the restroom or on the wrong side of the toilet (yes, i am anal like that), etc. Things are not picked up or moved for sweeping and vacuuming such as pet bed, water bowls, and even kitchen chairs. I have repeatedly asked for a particular product to not be used, and it is used every time. It leaves a very heavy and unpleasant odor. All in all, I have not been happy. If you are looking for a service that will just do the basics of cleaning (if you even get that) then this is the service for you. If you want your house cleaned top to bottom (like a spring cleaning) then look elsewhere.

+ -1 moreWhen I initially contacted Carrie to inquire about maid services, she was responsive and helpful in determining the cost for service and availability right over the phone. I met Cecilia one time to show her our home and discuss our cleaning preferences. She has cleaned our home weekly and does a great job of being on time and cleaning thoroughly. Thank you!
Description of Work: Cecilia with Carrie's Maid Service has cleaned our home weekly for about a year. She is professional and careful with the cleaning. She does a nice job each week and we could not be more pleased with her services and the price.

+ -1 moreWe hired Carrie's a total of four times. The first time the job was done with moderate professionalism. Each time after that the quality got worse. We had to call them back on two separate occasions. They did not correct the mistakes on either. After arguing about payment for a sub-par job, we finally decided to clean the house ourselves, it was not worth the headaches.
Description of Work: Carrie's Maid Service cleaned our entire main floor of our house. This included the living and family rooms, the den, and the kitchen.

+ -1 moreI am very pleased. I have never encountered any problems with Carrie s. I feel the pricing is reasonable. I trust them very much to come to my home and clean. Nothing has ever been missing. I sometime leave a key for them to let themselves in. I would say that they are very professional.
Description of Work: Carrie's Maid Service comes out to my home on a bi weekly basis. They perform some basic cleaning in the kitchen, bathroom and high traffic areas around the house.
