Capitol Audio Video

I would NEVER use capital audio again. They promised a "white glove" experience, but cut holes in wrong locations, left dust everywhere, etc. Also my system has not worked since the day it was installed. In fact my internet and home worked better when i bought off the shelf products. When asked to come fix the issues they blamed issues on others and said for a fee they could come try to diagnose issue. This has been the worst investment we have made as it was supposed to make our house more enjoyable, but instead nothing works and you have to leave house or use a hotspot from phone to use simple computer.

See above. Constant up charges. No confidence it's working. No tv systems working from get go and they came from them.

They did a great job of working with me on what items to buy and didn't haggle me on price (in fact, they were willing to meet prices from bestbuy.com). It was easy to schedule the appointment (they even called me and got us in earlier when they had a cancellation). The folks who did the work did a very good job - they finished the work in the time expected, made sure it was all working right and did a thorough walk-through with us. I would definitely recommend Capitol to a friend.

These guys were easy to work with and laid back. They were willing to work with me on my design vs pushing me to what they wanted me to buy. I did purchase higher quality AV products, so that's why the price is higher than others you may see. Apples to apples they provided me with a good deal. Also, my screen was damaged during shipping by FedEx but still usable. They proceeded to hang the screen so I could use it while they waited on their claim to be processed by FedEx. Once the claim was processed they brought me out a new screen. I was thankful I could still use my media room during this time.

The techs that performed our install and integration of the various components led by Mike Ross did a great job. He gave straight answers and solid advice with regards to the install and our system but also regarding potential future additions. His honest insight was very refreshing and helpful in my decision making process. I am and expect that I will continue to be, a satisfied customer.

It took a full 5 days to complete the installation mainly because we have a very old house. The installer was prompt, professional, and courteous and made certain that we understood all of the features and how the system worked. The installer worked with us every step of the way to insure that installation was exactly as we wanted it down to the smallest detail. We are extremely happy with the system and feel much more secure now that is installed and fully operational. I will definitely recommend Capitol Audio Video to my friends and neighbors.

This "COMPANY" is a front for a variety of SUB-Contractors there are no actual employees! They appear to operate under a variety of webpages and ad campaigns. Poor / 0 Planning, Horrid Communications, Over Sold - Under Delivered, Un-finished, No Documentation I FEEL LIKE I was SCAMMED! First Crew 8-18-2014 arrived and did the bulk of the cabling. When they left there were no cables terminated so none of them were useable. Drilled a 2.5in hole through my load bearing support beam in my roof. They mounted the TV mounts OVER the power plugs and connectors so were unable to put wall plates on the connections. I have open holes behind my TV in the wall. The sheetrock is busted up with wrong holes and open holes due to their lack of planning. UNFINISHED 2nd Crew 8-28-204 (All different people) They only came prepared to connect RG6 / BNC cables so the Comcast would work but they did not have all the necessary tools so were only able to connect 3 TVs the cable and other TVs and Internet connectivity was still un operational. UNFINISHED 3rd Crew 9-10-2014 (All different people) They came to work on the labeling and connecting all the cables. They did not have the necessary tools to do all of the cables and were only able to connect some of the Ethernet cables. They had no testing equipment or labeling gear. They used my tape and a marker. They were unable to test the network cables and some of them are still non-functioning. UNFINISHED 4th Crew 9-20-2014 (All different people) These guys were told to address my non working surveillance system. The system was non functioning and was not useable. DVR and all 4 Cameras They instead focused on connecting my speaker wires and audio connections. This is the FIRST time that any of the equipment that was purchased was actually shown to function. They were not able to connect all speakers due to the fact that they required Volume controls that they did not have with them to install. UNFINISHED 9.29.2014 Still no working Surveillance system, No Volume controls for outside speakers, no testing of cable drops, no labeling, no documentation UNFINISHED

It went great. To begin, they were patient and worked with me on an install date that worked for all parties. The whole process was done within 2 weeks of first contact (much shorter than the 2 months quoted to me by some other prominent blue and yellow big box store). They worked with me over the phone to understand what it is I wanted done, even though what I was asking was not in their normal realm of work (I already purchased speakers and just needed them installed, they specialize in whole home installation from purchase to installation. Had I known this, I would not have purchased the speakers previously). On the day of the work they arrived promptly within the arrival window. After a short explanation of the layout and prewiring of my house they got to work. The whole process took a little over two hours. They were clean, courteous, nice to talk to, and worked quickly and professionally. I could not have been any happier with the result, and I will definitely use them again!
