Jeri was wonderful! I sent her to my mom's home to help her and did a great job there also. I am planning to have Jeri back to help again in the near future!
Description of Work: Jeri helped me organize several rooms in my home including office, bedroom closets, tv room and free space.

There is now only one of the ladies that is working for Butterfly Organizing Solutions - Jeri Hopper. The other lady is not working there anymore and do not know if she will return but they are still both listed on their website. I learned some things that would be good for anyone who is going to use an organizer should know. You should get the boundaries set up front before you ever get started. At some point there is going to come up with disagreements as to what should be thrown/given away. You need to make sure who has the final say. Jeri is very good at organizing papers and things. I did find her somewhat pushy about what I should throw away. It got to such a point that I just did not want to deal with the tension anymore. Why should I pay someone to give me stress. She is good at organizing. I will know better the next time I hire an organizer.

WOW! What a difference this made. Butterfly Solutions did a wonderful job working with me and assessing my needs. They were very pleasant, punctual, and had great solutions for my closets and office. My house, both organizationally and visually, were big streesers for me. I didn't want people visiting my home and I was stressed by the clutter. I had felt this stress for years. I no longer spend time hunting for things and getting frustrated. It is now simple to put things away and keep my home clutter free. Most of the time, I am putting things away as I use them because they have a place. If I don't put a few things away at that moment, a simple 5 minute walk-through my house and it is clutter free again. My home is no longer a stressful place to be!
Description of Work: Butterfly Solutions worked on three rooms and closets in my home. In my bedroom we went through clothing item by item, and I got rid of so much. Then they organized the closet and all of my drawers and used methods to make it easy to put things away and find them. I now have more storage space. In another bedroom, where I keep my sewing and craft items, they sorted and organized the closet. They helped make it easy to get to things I use frequently. Simple as it is, one of my favorite items is the 'spindle rack' for thread. The biggest part of the job was my home office. After they assessed the items I needed to store or file, and talked to me about my work habits, they suggested several organizational items. They measured areas to make sure what they purchased would fit in its designated space. I purchased three items that work very well for me. They also created a sensible filing system. Office supplies are stored with easy access. I can see everything when I walk in the closet. One of the best services they provide is that they do ALL the leg work. They went and purchased the items I wanted. They took all the clothes to charitable organizations and they took items that could be recycled to a recycling center. They marked a box of sensitive account items and took them to be shredded. Additionally, I had old computer parts, batteries, and hazardous waste materials which they took to a hazardous waste center. They came over several days working three hours at a time. Much more and you lose your energy to make good choices about what to keep, through away, or where to store it. They will stay full days if you prefer. YEAH!

The 2 co-owners, Jeri and Coley, packed a large amount of pottery, china, books, clothing, anything that I didn't want out while the house was showing. They did an incredibly careful, well organized job - provided an excel spreadsheet (that was organized by color/ category) that listed the contents of each box they packed. Each box was color coded with the contents listed - a great help when I finally relocate. I was holding onto a lot of old clothing for sentimental reasons - it was a great motivator to have them help me decide what to keep/donate. They even took the items to Goodwill and returned with receipts. They picked up packing materials (which I paid for) and brought them to my house. I was having estimates for moving done at the same time we were packing up. One of the moving company estimators saw them at work and suggested I use Coley and Jeri to pack the entire house. He said he could tell they were doing an excellent job and this would be less expensive than using the company's packers. When my house sells, i will have them back to finish off the rest of the house. Also clearing out the garage was included in the 30 hours. I was able to move my packed boxes in there. The $2600 seemed like a lot, but isn't when I consider the number of boxes they packed and helped move to the garage. They were completely trustworthy and professional; I gave them a key to my house so they could get in if I wasn't home. Coley and Jeri were great fun to work with and kept me from stressing out. My cats even liked them!
Description of Work: I contacted Butterfly Organizing because I was packing up my house for a sale/move to California from Texas. i had started packing up odds & ends last January. When I had only a month to ready the house for sale I decided I needed help as I work full-time.

I have used Butterfly Organizing Solutions numerous times and each time they come I want them to come back. They have organized several rooms in my home, quickly and efficiently. Most recently they decorated my home for the holidays. What usually takes me several days, was done in just a few hours. They even wrapped the gifts! It was a great time saver and stress reducer; worth every penny!
Description of Work: Cleaned out and organized closet and other rooms. Hauled away the "throw aways" for either donations, resale or recycling. Decorated my home for the holdays.

It went great! They were so easy to work with and they actually made it fun. I was dreading this project but see that is wasn't so bad after all. I am planning to invite them back in the near future for other projects.
Description of Work: Both ladies asked me a lot of questions about how I'm using my desk space and where I keep things. They worked with me on creating some new systems for what I was having trouble with, then they helped me restructure the whole office, except for a couple of things. They color coded and labeled everything and got all of my stuff into the right folders. I was worried that it would be so different that I wouldn't be able to find anything, but it worked out really well! They left me with tips and a schedule to follow for maintenance, which helps remind me what to do to keep it this way.
