They are wonderful and I am very pleased with the work that was done. This is the second time Burke's has reupholstered the sofas. The prior work was done 18 years ago and they also did a wonderful job at that time. At that time I also had an arm chair, a small chair and two stools done. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them.

We reupholstered a glider and ottoman for a nursery. Burke’s was upfront on the pricing which was set labor cost plus the fabric cost. They had so many fabric selections but were able to help narrow the selections down. The entire process was painless and the finished pieces were beautiful.

They did an incredible job for a very reasonable price. The chairs look as good as they did when new. They picked the chairs up and returned them for a reasonable additional fee and even accommodated the short time frame I asked for. Thank you!!!

Great. Burke's was very helpful on the phone ahead of time. I had my own fabric so I never even had to go there. They gave me a very accurate estimate over the phone. Within a day or two they came to my home and picked up the chairs. About 5 days later they delivered the completed chairs to me. Pick-up and delivery was only an additional $50 charge. The chairs looked fantastic!

If I could give them an A+ I would. They came the day after I called to pick up the sectional. They were on time and professional. They called back to give a quote once they could review the problem, as promised. They then returned the repaired items the same week at the time designated and at the fair price quoted: $55 pick up & delivery, $75 foam replacement, $150 spring repair.

Wow! Superb job. I had 4 dinette chairs that needed to be re-cushioned & reupholstered. I brought them to Burke's on Saturday, 4/18/15 & told them that I needed them by the following Saturday if possible but definitely within 2 weeks. They had told me on the phone that they might have some scraps from another job that they could use. When I arrived to drop the cushions off I looked through books to find what I wanted & then asked about the scraps. They did have scraps from another job & I found 1 that would work & that they had enough of for all 4 chairs. I received a call on the Monday afternoon that the chairs were ready. Couldn't get there until the Friday but picked them up & they are wonderful! The workmanship is great & was so glad I used them thanks to other great reviews on Angie's List about them.

They're very easy to use. They're accommodating and give a fair price. They do good work and are quick.

I couldn't be happier with the results. My wing chair is perfect -- striped fabric matches exactly and they even provided arm covers, which the chair hadn't had before. The dining chairs all match each other. Very courteous and professional to work with. I can't recommend them highly enough.

All of the fabrics were Scottish Tartan wool, with very specific patterns. It was important to me that the finished products meet my expectations as to placement of the tartan patterns. Burke did an excellent job. They also repaired the game chair seats, to make them strong and usable (with out me having to ask them.) They did the right thing because in their experience the existing seats on the antique chairs were to weak to use. I was very pleased with this. The occasional chair was a work of art. with back, in and out side, pillows and arm rest all upholstered in a bright tartan fabric, and out of place or off center patterning would have ruined the look. They matched the pattern of the fabric perfectly. I found them easy to work with, extremely fast and very reasonable in cost. I could not be more pleased with the work they have done. I will recommend them to my friends, and use them again when I need work done.

_x000D_|We took the chairs with us. The lady was was helping another customer and asked us to look around. When she was done she came over and helped us pick the fabrics. They have a large selection of fabrics with varying prices. We were trying to match the fabric for the arm chairs with our couch fabric. She was patient, helpful, and was able to give us a lot of options. She also help with the loading and unloading of the chairs. The fabric we picked for the office chair was no longer available so we picked another fabric. The job was still done in a timely fashion and we were telephoned as they had promised. When we went to pick up the chairs, the arm chairs looked better than we had first bought them. An overall wonderful experience.

Did supply our own purchased fabric. They did a beautiful job. Every chair had exactly the same pattern. They were very professional and friendly to work with.

Burke's is fantastic! I'm the third generation of my family to use them. Their shop isn't much to look at, but man they do good work!

Saleslady was very helpful in pulling books with potential material samples in the color I wanted and I quickly selected exactly the right material. I took the existing cushions for them to use as a pattern. The new cushions were ready in about 10 days. Bottom cushion was perfect. Back cushion had been made with thinner foam than the bottom due to the seams/buttons and it didn't look or feel right in the chair. I returned the back cushion to them with pictures and we discussed changing detailing so it could be filled with fiberfill instead and be thicker. They did a great job with this and my mother loves the new cushions! They were very nice to deal with and made good on their services.

Burke's upholstered an old glider for me. They were helpful in providing a quick estimate and let me know how much fabric to provide them. The job was complete in about 3 business days, and I was charged exactly what they quoted. The chair is much improved, and I will use this company in the future. Very nice staff!

Recovered a large sectional sofa we really liked as we could not find anything new of similar style or quality. Donna was very helpful in directing us to possible fabrics, estimating and making arrangements for pick-up and delivery. The work was done very quickly and we're delighted with the outcome.

It was a pleasant experience and there were no bumps in the road. Will use again soon.

I was very pleased with their work. They were very good at helping me pick fabric out and I was able to choose a fabric made in the USA. They were very prompt - Picked everything up when they said they would and returned them in a timely manner. They coordinated with us so that the furniture was out of the house during a painting a project which was very helpful. They also made changes to contour to suit me at my request. The price was good and I will use them again - possibly for two chairs I'm considering recovering.

Love their work. They are currently custom making an ottoman for me now and reupholstering a desk chair. Ive used others before but I always come back to Burke's.

Visited Burke's and reviewed fabrics there--some gorgeous textiles but very pricey, at least in my mind! The kind lady told me the yardage needed for each chair and referred me to Interior Fabrics on 1960 where I was able to find beautiful fabrics that suited my needs for each piece at a fraction of the cost (11.99-15.99/yd vs. 38-72/yd). One fabric had to be ordered from the warehouse and I had to wait for delivery to my door, but that was a small inconvenience. Made arrangements for the overstuffed chair and rocker with ottoman to be picked up, there is a fee for this service. Chairs were picked up on a Thursday and delivered the next Tuesday, if I recall correctly and they were beautiful. The stuffing on the oversized chair was replaced, it was reupholstered and the back cushion was retacked into place where it belonged. The workmanship on the reupholstery was outstanding; I had picked a casual, stripey fabric and it looked wonderful. The rocker and ottoman were recovered in a black and white print, and again, the workmanship was truly beautiful. I was a bit taken aback at the cost for these three pieces, but I cannot fault the quality! Burke's is currently recovering the two grandmother's chairs for me in a rich green fabric and I cannot wait to see the results!

They are the best furniture upholsters. They did beautiful work. The piping and stripes were lined up perfectly on the striped chair. We had a two seater pallet and it looks awesome. They just did the best work. They picked them up from our house and delivered them a week later right on time. It was a lot of furniture we thought for four pieces to be completely re-done and these are kind of a funny mix of wood. They made it look great and we get compliments all the time on that. We also got a little bench done for $50. They did a beautiful job on that again with perfectly straight lines on the stripes and so forth.

I found them on Angie's list but had also known of them for decades. I went to the store where they were very helpful on picking a fabric that satisfied my needs and wants. They picked up and delivered my recliner for a very reasonable price. Their workmanship was superb. I had them make an extra seat cover and headrest. They applied a stain remover. I highly recommend them to all.

They had always been excellent. They were eager to help. I went to the shop and told the lady what I wanted. She recommended that I do not buy the fabric from them. She sent me to another fabric store because she said I could get the same thing from them cheaper than what they sell. She asked me to go there, buy the fabric, come back and they would cover my chairs. I thought that was very nice. What did I know; I would have gladly paid her $15 or $20 for a yard of the fabric but she sent me to some place where I got it for $4 a yard. I would use their services again in the future. We have a wingback chair in my husband's office, which was, supposed to be ninety year old. My dog has taken it over. I had had to recover it because she ruined it. They upholstered that chair and I asked them to make a little slip cover where the dog sits so that I can put it in the washing machine and they did that too. They were very reasonable and accomodating.

EXCELLENT UPHOLSTERY JOB. I HAVE USED THEM MANY TIMES IN THE PAST AND AM ALWAYS PLEASED WITH THEIR JOB. QUICK PICK-UP AND DELIVERY. TOOK ONLY ONE WEEK TO COMPLETE THE JOB.
