Burglar Bars & More

From the first time I spoke with Mr. Carol by phone, he was professional and seemed experienced at his work. I had shopped around by the time we spoke, so when he quoted his price, I knew he was well within the going rate for what I needed. I had made a tentative selection of another company's services before talking to Carol, but after our conversation, I called the other company back to let them know I'd chosen Burglar Bars & More. I have never regretted that decision. Unfortunately, I've had some horrific experiences with contractors in the last 3 years, so doing business with kind professionals like Mr. Carol and his wife Ms Betty was like a breath of fresh air for me! Carol did everything he said he would do in the expected timeframes we had discussed. He gave me a fair price and a quality product. Was patient with me when I had questions, no matter how many :-).... As well, he always answered his phone (or promptly responded to my voice message), which spoke volumes to me as a customer. Once the bars were installed, Mr. Carol made sure that the job was done properly, making necessary tweaks immediately by the next business day. I give this company an "A" overall. And I am very pleased with the outcome....:-)

Last year I had called 5 different iron work businesses from ads in the yellow pages. They either never returned my call or we spoke and they said they would call me back and they never did. So I decided to join Angie's List and happened upon Burglar Bars and More and called Carroll Burrage. He called me back the same day and we agreed upon a day and time for him to come out and look at what I needed. Carroll was prompt, realized what I wanted done, made sure my window coverings would work with the bars, we discussed several options for this job, and I decided he was and quot;the manand quot; to do the job. I did not feel the need to look any further as I could tell he knew what he was doing. He took some of my old paint to match one set of burglar bars and then he matched the other ones perfectly to my new windows. He put on lock boxes and locks , spacers and he brought touch up paint with him. Carroll was prepared and he just took care of everything. I cannot say enough about how nice he was, how professional he was and how he wanted his customer/me to be completely satisfied with his work. He took great pride in his work so who could ask for more. And his wife Betty was just as nice as he was. They were both a pleasure to deal with. I would not hesitate to recommend Carroll for any kind of iron work jobs. I did not check around for pricing because 1) I did not have time and 2) I could tell he would not be satisfied unless he did a perfect job. I am not disappointed at all, the bars look wonderful. I would certainly recommend you let Carroll bid for your job. You too will not be disappointed.

This project went very well and I do plan to use Burglar Bars and More for additional work I need to replace a couple of burglar bars for egress in some other bedrooms.

My new door is a great quality and I am very happy with the job. Came out on time, very professional and polite.
