The service was good, although we still saw some cockroaches after the treatment. They later followed up and promised to give us the refund.

ugs (no mice!). The provider arrived and told me I had to sign a year contract. I refused. He first claimed that it was required, but when I told him he could forget it, he became very flustered but went ahead with the spray. I had been told by their hone representatives to keep the dog away but the exterminator just began spraying without warning, then said the dog and I would be perfectly safe in the same room. It made me very uncomfortable but the interior spray was done very quickly and seemed haphazard and unsystematic. He then went outside sprayed around the house exterior only partially and then in and around the garage. Without my asking, he put sticky mouse traps in the garage. I told him to please remove them, as I did not approve of that kind of trap. He laughed but I found later that he had not removed them, and I was left disposing of them, covered in bugs (no mice!). The real problem came about ten days later when I found a bill on my backdoor for a SECOND spray (another 80 dollars or so) which had been done without my permission, in my absence. I called and was shuffled around a bit but finally was able to speak to a manager. He tried to defend the spray by arguing that an infestation could require a second spray a month after the first, but of course it had only been ten days, I did not have an infestation of anything (the original spray had been merely a proactive effort), and NO ONE had asked for permission. He agreed to remove the charge and was very pleasant but I would certainly never work with this company again.

I use Bulwark for pest maintenance. They come every second month and send an email and SMS the day before coming with a time range of when they will be here. This month, Josh Murphy was my exterminator and as with all of the Bulwurk employees, he was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We also use Bulwark for our terminator maintenance. I have a lot of confidence with their advice and services. I would highly recommend Josh and Bulwark.

They've been out three times and they're still trying to get rid of the fire ants but at least they're trying. They haven't charged me anything other than the $69, which I've been very impressed with because they've been here 3 times.

The awesome technician showed up on time. He was very good at explaining what he was doing and why, and what he would do if that didn't work. When my boy was still getting bitten in his crib, Bulwark came out two additional times to ensure that the activity stopped, which it has. We are bite free and happy!

They were great about calling and scheduling the appointment, and I was surprised and happy to know they had evening appointments as a 2 working person household. I would have preferred if they would have given me a reminder call the day before or before coming, but thank goodness I was home despite not seeing it on my calendar. The tech was very professional and answered all my questions well. He relayed my naïve concerns that the small carpenter ants I had noticed outside were not termites as they were much too small - relief. Overall it was quick and easy. The company has been good about following up on the service. The carpenter ants though very localized and small have been tough to get rid of, but they have come out repeatedly to try to deal with it. Overall, happy with the service. They offer a non contract recurring service, which I'll consider doing.

The specialist showed up a bit early, which was okay, and promptly got to work. He was very polite, and explained everything to me.

The service Bulwark provided was great. The technician Brody was very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. Brody answered all my questions and showed me the process of how he was applying the chemicals to various areas of my home. My overall experience with Bulwark's technicians to include the representative Winston I talked with on the phone when scheduling the appointment, and the technician Brody who serviced my home were very personable and seemed to know their jobs very well. I would highly recommend Bulwark Exterminating in Houston to anyone looking for a great pest control service at a great price. They beat Terminix in price and I get two extra treatments on top of it all due to the fact that Bulwark services my home every two months versus Terminix's once every 3 months. They are professional, courteous and thorough. We love these guys and highly recommend them.

They came out and checked everything out and provided great service. He was very knowlegable.

At first visit, the guy who came over to the house was a nice person, who did his best to treat the yard. We had just moved in and had a lot of ant hills. After spending considerable time, he mentioned that if something comes up within 2 weeks, we can call again for free. Five or so days later, I was working on the lawn and got attacked by ants. My feet are covered with infected ant bites. So, naturally, I called them again. We also discovered that we may have termites so asked for information. The next guy, supposedly, came to the house and didn't even knock the door. My wife said she hasn't heard anyone or anything. When I called back what happened, I was told the treatment was done and there should be an invoice. I haven't found an invoice and I told them we wanted to talk to the person and show the ant stuff and discuss. The person who answered my call said they are sorry and they will send another man. The man came next day. My wife showed him the bug we found, which ended up being a termite. He then just sprayed one small area and didn't mention anything about what may be going on with the ants. I am not sure why the second guy was in such a hurry. We are first time home owners and we could have used a bit more information, some responsive attitude. I must say I am rather disappointed about the service from an Angie's A-lister.

it went very well . nothing to complain.

First off, they make you sign a one year contract. I did not have a contract with my other provider, which I had been using for years. Second, they need to have a credit card or checking account number on file to use to charge for their services. With my other provider I paid with a check each time they showed up. So, why did I switch? Because they said they used all natural or organic products, they would treat grubs in the lawn as well as treat inside my outlets on my outer walls of the house. In addition they promised to treat the attic as well as at least three feet up on the walls and 25 feet outside the house. The last time my older provider (which was recently sold to yet another provider) was here they treated the whole inside of my house in less than 5 minutes, so I decided to give this company a shot. I made an appointment for initial treatment two days later. They showed up in the 90th minute of their 2 hour window. I had to leave for another appointment at the end of that 2 hour window, so they did not have sufficient time to treat the outlets at this visit. Bummer, but they did said they always show up at the beginning of the 2 hour window and sometime even early, but that was not the case. They did not treat the attic and judging by the smell of the chemicals used inside the house, I do not see how that can be all natural or organic chemicals used. They are coming back in 30 days so we'll see if they show up on time then and do all the services they say they would. Since they made me sign a one year contract, albeit with 100% money back guarantee (how does that work exactly if I no longer want to use their services?), let's hope they will live up to their great reviews and reputation..

Tech (Tyler) arrived within the window of time agreed upon. He was very professional and explained everything he did. As of yet there has not been an issue with this application.

Service went well, but I still see bugs inside the house

The service turned out very well. We actually continue to use them for quarterly stuff. They came out probably within a week after we purchased the Big Deal as scheduled. The result of the spraying was very good. The service was exactly what they said it was and the price seemed very reasonable.

There had been a miscommunication issue with a previous payment. Eric, one of their supervisors, called me to resolve the issue this Saturday afternoon. The supervisor handled the matter in a very impressive way. As a business provider myself, I learned a valuable lesson on how to resolve an issue with an unhappy customer. I am a firm believer on giving second chances and Bulwark earned theirs after speaking to Eric. Thank you so much for the great customer service!

everything seemed to go well: I had yard people this weekend over working on the yard and they didn't fuss about fire ants, so I feel that THAT went well. WRT tree roaches: it's been an embarrassing problem. the gentleman who came over and sprayed said that I might see a few....dead. and I have. it's a little disconcerting, but I'm happy to see them on their backs! they came back between scheduled appointments when I called about seeing roaches in the house. the individual who does the work at my house calls when he is on the way, is professional and pleasant. if Bulwark continues to solve the problems I will continue to use them.
