Bulwark Exterminating-Houston

Ended up going with a different company you could come out sooner (this was soon after hurricane Harvey and everyone was busy). Turned out we didn't have termites, however this company was very professional, sent me videos detailing the process for treating termites, etc.

The bugs have returned but they're great about coming back out for free with certain plans. I think the return of the bugs has more to do with the climate and neighborhood though.

Bulwark is my go-to pest control company. I hired them to do an initial treatment after buying a house that had been unoccupied for some time, leading to lots of bugs and critters making themselves at home. Bulwark did such a great job, I am now a regular customer and get service every two months. They make scheduling and payment super easy and will remind you when service is due so the pests stay controlled. They are always on time and always professional.

Awesome! Mike is always on time, professional and takes care of any issues (ants, mice) that we have. Always follows up to ensure everything is "ok".

It only took a few minutes. No chemical smells or residue. He notice I had a dog. He asked me to keep the dog out of the treated area until everything dried, then it be no problem nor would the treatment be of concern for the dog.

They did a good job. The problem with them coming back is you, can't just call them and say can you come out and exterminate, even if it's a little bit, they want to put you on a quarterly basis. I don't have enough varmints or insects to commit to that. I used them twice a year for 20 years, and they just said well, we can't do that. It's not that they don't do a good job; I just can't do business like that. They were on time. They were quick. They explained what they were doing. They said you don't have any insects. It was a good price. It's certainly worth it. They gave a 30 guarantee that you won't see any insects. Their responsiveness is very good. I didn't even mind paying a little more, but they said that's how they do business.

Bulwark is excellent! I have used them for quite a few years now, and I would (and have) recommend them to everyone. They provide very good service, and if you see a bug between visits, they will make it a priority to revisit at a time that's good for you. Matt is an excellent technician, and makes sure that you completely understand what is going on in your home and why.

Devin Hearne was very professional and did a great job. He did everything in his power to make sure we were satisfied. His services were quick and efficient, and he was a pleasure to work with! We are looking forward to having him exterminate our house in the future.

It went very well, the was on time and very professional. We've had no recurrence of any bugs but still have the occasional millipede.

They came out fast. The treated the house and the lawn. We had some pretty stubborn household insects and some wasps just outside the house... Bulwark came out again and treated these issues for no additional charge. They are friendly, professional, and very responsive to their customers. It is hard to be excited about an exterminator, but these are great people.

The initial visit was fine. The technician was thorough and polite. Bulwark continued to send technicians out to my home without prior approval and without a contract. The first two additional technicians that came to my home left receipts that indicated they were their for follow-up at no additional charge. The final technician that visited my home left a receipt that indicated that I had an $85.95 balance. When I called to inquire about the charge they acknowledged that I had only purchased a one-time treatment, but they opted me into every-other-month treatments "to ensure their work" without my consent and without a signed contract. They trespassed on my property, treated my home without my consent and then argued when I told them that I would not pay a fee for a service I never agreed to. I do not recommend their service and will never use them again.

Friendly, called when running behind. Explained the service well. Worked quickly. Followed up the following week with a phone call. Great experience.
