Bulwark Exterminating-Houston

As a new home renter in the Houston area, I relied on Home Adviser to locate service providers that could provide home exterminating for a home that had the floors replaced after Harvey. Bulwark was the first company we contacted. They were professional on the phone, attentive and helpful. We spoke to Jamie first, then Chris, then Tiffany. Each of these individuals had a helpful attitude on the phone. The home that is being serviced is 100 miles round trip for those of us that are responsible for preparing the home for tenants. Monday, April 16, 5 to 8 PM was confirmed twice. Called office at 4 PM to verify where the technician was on work order to check all was in order. Office attendant said they could not find the technician. He was not responding to their message. Unusual message... they tell you on the recorded marketing message that they have a satellite tracking system to know where all their trucks are. No one ever showed up to the location. MIA no work done. Called office to find out what happened. No one had a direct answer. Spoke to Tiffany. She said a second appointment would be made. Scheduled appointment #2. for Wed, April 18. Time schedule 5 to 8. Company person drove 100 miles round trip to be there. Again, No One showed up. All details were confirmed prior to sending company person. This was second time a MIA from Bulwark Exterminating. Called office again, Attendant offered $50 discount on a a #3 appointment. We declined the offer. This company has great lip service from their office staff on the phone. The problem is that they did not value the time and effort the customer had to put in to the action they needed. There is no excuse for trade companies to insult consumers by ignoring the value of the customers time. The time has come for all trade services companies to wake up and realize that their unprofessional, irresponsible time management will not be tolerated. We believe in respecting all parties involved- especially with regard to time and value for their money. When you make an appointment.... here's a thought..... fulfill it. Its the least you can do to prove you are a dedicated, honorable company.

Exceptional; Mr. Lionel Ruffin was very professional. He explained the treatments in detail and how they would help to eliminate the bugs. He was patient and answered all my questions! He even added traps and gave me tips on how to seal locations where the pest could have been entering my home.

Our technician, Chad Dear, did a great job. He removed all the spiders’ nets, cocoons and other debris. He very throughly sprayed the house to create a barrier against the bugs. He is very nice and easy to deal with.

they came out and looked at it, and said they would send someone to give us a formal estimate. We exchanged emails and they did not respond. We called twice, the first time they did not return the call and the second time they made an appointment to come out the following day-and stood us up. We will find another company.

I had to reschedule my appointment at the last minute. My technician Daniel V. was very understanding and rescheduled my appointment for a more convenient time. Daniel always asks for an update from the previous treatment. He explains and then treats for my current concerns. He informs me when he is in route to my home. He is always professional and courteous.

Our Tech Daniel Vinson was awesome! Very detailed in his work and actually seemed to have really good work ethics and was able to answer all of my questions. Bulwark is a by far the best I have found

Cody was very professional--explained what I needed to do about moth infestation....not really "fixable" by a simple exterminator's visit.

I called Bulwark Exterminating a few weeks ago to come spray the inside of my house. They came quickly and my technician Charlie Arrott not only sprayed the inside but also the outside of my house. He was very thoughtful and took his shoes off when he entered the house. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Over all great service. We’re very satisfied.

Our technician Lional was punctual and professional. He explained the work completed at the end of the visit. Would recommend.

Our pest control tech Daniel always goes above and beyond in our regular treatments. He not only treated the area next to the house, but also all of our landscape beds in our yard. He's always very careful to avoid treating a couple of areas that need to be kept pesticide-free.

Technician was very polite and respectful. He told me what and why he was doing what he was doing. He asked if I had any questions. He was very knowledgeable. I would definitely continue to use their service.

Our service technician, Chad Dear, was professional and did a thorough job with our preventative pest control.

The tech, Guy, was thorough and professional. Have had Bulwark for ~2 years and am always satisfied with the work they perform.

We have had a contract with Bulwark Exterminating for several years and have been pleased with the service. It is a little more pricey than other pest control services, but it includes free call-backs between regular service and treatment for rodents. The techs are usually punctual, friendly, and professional (Ismael was our most recent tech and he was great). I also like that they aren't spraying inside the house unless I request it because of a problem area, so we are keeping chemicals out of the house (they do a "bulwark" treatment inside the walls on the first visit and then treat the outside on subsequent visits, which has been effective for us). The only thing I don't love is having to write reviews for the tech to get a tip each time (I like that they are rewarding the techs for good service, but I don't like having one more thing on my to do list.)

Chad Dear was the technician and he was excellent. Explained exactly what and why he was going to treat different areas inside and outside the house. He also educated me on the sugar ants and how they entered the house. On investigation he found several areas on the outside where they were entering the house. We have been using Bulwark for 6 years and they are always quick to respond, notify when they are on their way and never miss a scheduled appt.

Mike Costello has been taking care of my pest needs for some time now. He is very professional and is always on time. He is very patient and answers all my questions. I highly recommend Mike and Bulwark Exterminating for any and all your pest needs.
