Bulwark Exterminating-Houston

Recent visit from Lionel, who politely introduced himself, asked lots of questions about any potential issue that we might be having and then thoroughly treated our property.. We've been with Bulwark for two years or more now and haven't had any meaningful issues. Our neighbors were importing cheap black mulch that contained lots of tiny black ants that were pesky and Bulwark called to check if they had been eradicated and came back more than once until they gone. I think their annual schedule makes a lot more sense than simply 3 month intervals that everyone else seems to employ.

We’ve just moved in to a new home and we have been battling ants and spiders. Charlie came immediately after I called for help and was efficient and effective. Highly recommend.

Daniel is always extremely helpful and friendly. He does a thorough job. We've had great success using this company and with our tech Daniel.

Chad Dear(service technician) performed our quarterly pest control today and did an outstanding job. Chad introduced himself before performing the pest control treatment, asking if we were having any problems/issues. He did a great job with the application and per their service agreement removed all spider webs, etc. around all windows and entry doors.

Chad was very helpful, pointing out mulch too high against brick. Used granules because of wet weather.

My technician that day, Sirlionel (Sir) Ruffin, was pure professionalism. After telling him my situation, he was quickly able to triage what needed to be done and get to it. He was also very knowledgeable and well-informed of the pests to treat and chemicals he was using. Mr. Ruffin actually completed my service in half the time it normally takes the other technicians. That's likely due to his high acumen and efficiency built on years of experience in this industry. I'm definitely requesting him again!!

Daniel Vinson did a great job! He is very professional and remembers details so he knows what should be treated and how. He always text to let me know he's on his way, arrives on time, and gets the job done quickly. Highly recommend!

We have used Bulwark for 3 years and are very happy with them! They come every 3 months scheduled for outside spraying, and we call any time there is an issue or something we see inside and they come for no extra charge- including a rats in the attic problem! Chad Dear was out today and was fantastic- did an extra sweep of our home's perimeter, showed me areas we need to watch and address, and set up future appointments! He was incredibly knowledgeable, arrived on time, left his work shoes outside, and worked quickly- very happy!

Chad showed up ahead of schedule (after texting first to confirm) and was very professional and polite. He showed me that our bait boxes hadn't been refreshed in about 6 months and made sure to refill all of those. We have had a contract with Bulwark for several years and have been overall pleased with the service. We have had a couple of instances where something was missed, but they have been good about responding and coming back to make it right. I initially thought the contract seemed a bit pricey (for bugs) until I realized it includes treatment for mice - once I realized that I think it's a good deal!

Cody was the tech sent by Bulwark. He was very honest about not knowing what pest was causing the problem, and suggested contacting Bulwark’s Termite team for followup. Because we didn’t know what to treat for, he did not move ahead with treatment, but his time and input were very valuable, he was friendly and professional and a credit to his company.

Carl was prompt, timely, thorough, and friendly. Great tech, great company.

Daniel came right on time, and was very professional. He spoke with me beforehand to really be clear on the types of bugs I had been seeing and the location. He took the time educate me and make sure I knew what I could do on my end to prevent more bugs. I will be using Bulwark again for my next spray because of him.

Mike was on time as usual, and as always very professional in the service he provided. It was raining so he used a different type of chemical that would work along with the rain.

Very well! Technician arrived on time, explained in detail what that day’s treatment would entail, answered my questions and was very professional.

We used Bulwark for 2 services before firing them. While we had issues with the first service, such as not arriving at the agreed upon time and their truck parking partially on the grass despite having an enormous L shaped driveway, the second service is why this review is being written. While the tech arrived on time, he spent less than 10 minutes treating our home that is over 5,300 sq ft and has a very large lot. We continue to see the same level of insect activity as before the treatment a week ago. What is worse is that the technician, knowing that we have dogs, left the gate to our backyard wide open when he left. Luckily, I work in a home office at the front of the house and was able to prevent our dog from escaping into the neighborhood. While I will credit Bulwark for not charging for this service (which took a second phone following their promise to not charge us and then still invoicing us), this lack of care to both quality of service and respect for our animals for a $90+ service is inexcusable (and would be inexcusable even if the service were offered free of charge). Prior to writing this review, I offered senior management several opportunities (both by phone and email) to contact me to discuss this matter and to offer a reasonable explanation. I did not receive any sort of communication, which is yet another disturbing lack of customer service.

Great experience with this company for Pest control.

Lionel came to the house and he was fantastic. He sent a text message when he was in his way. Took the time to listen to all of my Pest issues and addressed them. Service was fast and the bimonthly plan is very affordable (especially compared to other companies). A+ service and customer service.

James Wyatt came and sprayed my home today and he was awesome. I think he's probably the best exterminator I've ever had. He went above and beyond what he had to do. I've been using Bulwark for about 4 years now and I love them and I would never change companies.

It went very well and the technician is good and thorough.
