This review is more than a year overdue, but I was very happy and satisfied with the job done by Brick Restoration Inc. I had a plumbing leak (frozen pipe break) in the wall behind the kitchen sink, and the repair could only be made from the outside wall of the house. BRI quoted me a very fair price for brick removal and restoration. When it came time restore the hole in the brick, BRI came back out and filled in the hole with all new bricks. Since it is nearly impossible to find the same kind of bricks, their brick layer was very skilled at painting the bricks to match the existing bricks. I was very happy with the work that was done. I will call BRI again if I ever need brick more brick work done.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, BRICK RESTORATION. My husband and I had a terrible experience in Nov 2022. We had a pea gravel sidewalk replaced, and a brick landing added instead of the current pea gravel by the front door. We also had a few brick repairs done around the house. The new concrete sidewalk is ok, but they left trenches on each side that we have to fill with top soil. Also, we are still finding chunks of concrete and pea gravel in the grass areas next to the sidewalk. The brick landing that they added over the existing pea gravel was not great and our front door was very difficult to open and close--almost impossible with the scratching and scraping. The salesman returned and damaged the bottom of the door in the process of trying to fix it so that we could open and close the door properly. After that fix and 3 new damaged areas to the bottom of the door by the salesman, they had the brick man come back and redo a row of bricks right by the door. Then the door was left with a half inch gap at the bottom (wind, air, grit blowing under the door) and the 3 damaged areas to the bottom of the door that were actually done by the Salesman. The Salesman actually implied that I was lying and the damage to the bottom of our door must have already been there. I do have pictures showing that the door was not damaged before the start of the work. The company had a man come and fix the damaged door and the gap, but it still shows damage--the fix was not great. He did put something on the bottom so the half inch gap is gone. The door is still difficult to open and close. That's all they plan to do. The President of the company asked me to send pictures of the final repairs; I did and no response from her about how awful the door was fixed, or anything else. Also, they poured gasoline on a couple of areas of grass while filling an instrument, killing that grass. They also left a water faucet on the side of our house open. We found out when almost 24 hours later, we got an alert from Eye On Water, showing that we had a leak. We searched and found that the faucet they were using was left on. No compensation for that lost water, or an apology. While doing one of the brick repairs they threw trash in a flower bed and left it there for me to pick up. They state that they are not responsible for damage to sprinkler systems, but they did repair a totally broken water line for the system. Right now, there are 2 buried sprinkler heads that we need to find before turning the sprinkler back on in the spring. Maybe when we fill up the trenches along the new sidewalk with top soil we will find them. Our house has two different bricks colors/styles and the salesman found a match. It's wasn't perfect, but we agreed. It doesn't look very good and the salesman should have had enough experience to suggest that we should not use the brick available because it wouldn't be the best match. So, after an almost $10,000 job, we have an ugly "finished" project. Five years ago we had "Restore Your Door" do a restoration/restain/repair some broken glass job on our door and the door was beautiful. Now.....damaged on the bottom and difficult to open and close and Brick Restoration doesn't care at all! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Great! Job was done very professionally and the crack was fully repaired. They even fixed another crack over the garage for no charge. Super company to work with.

It didn’t go. I sent the job info with pictures, received a quote and was told they were six weeks out. After almost three months, I got an email saying they had mistakenly put me on the inactive list and would finally schedule.. We arranged a time for them to come do the work the following week. When they showed, they said they could not do the job for that price, that they were at fault and needed to re-quote and would have to come back with different supplies. Never heard from them again. Why did they quote on a job they didn’t really want? We were not difficult, in fact, MORE than patient. I think they got too big for their bricks.

The whole experience couldn't have went any better. From the office staff to the masonry professionals who executed the work, they are the best!

Awesome!! Everyone was professional and respectful. They fixed some large and long mortar cracks on my house. They matched the mortar perfectly. The whole process was so effortless for me. They arrived when they said they would and they did quality work. Zero hassles or stress. I would 100% hire them again.

Excellent Company. They were very responsive and were on time for the estimate. The information I received was very helpful. We had done foundation repair on our home, but there were many areas with cracks and mortar missing. Also an old intercom speaker had to be removed and there was a 2x4 inch hole in the brick from that. We thought the bid was reasonable, so contracted with them for the work. We are extremely happy with the result. There is no evidence at all of any cracks in the brick. The mortar has been filled in and everything matches completely. You can't see where any work was done. We can't even see where the hole for the intercom used to be! The work was completed in one afternoon. I would highly recommend this company. Everyone in the office and field was pleasant and easy to work with.

The head guy came out to see the scope of the problem. I gave him pictures where the leaks were. When the crew showed up, they asked what they were suppose to do. At the end of the first day, I checked what they were suppose to do, I had to have them go back and do places they missed. Several days later, it rained and my wall was still leaking. I called them back again, after rain It still leaked. I decided to call there competitor. They fixed the leaks the first time. The problem is I had to pay twice for a job that should have been fixed the first time. Each time the guy came out from Brick Rest. I felt he really did not have the experience needed for this job.

I had about a 5' crack from slab up through brick and mortar. Slab was not cracked. A structural engineer I hired said wasn't due to a bad slab. Slab was within normal specs. Crew re-did the expansion joint and repaired the cracked bricks and mortar. When job was finished I went to inspect and couldn't see where the crack had ever been. Totally amazing!! Very pleased.

The crew came on time and went right to work. The manager was there to do some of the work himself and to supervise. The crew was large enough to get all of the work done in one day. They cleaned up and left nothing behind.

Crew did sa good job of repair and color matching. They cleaned up after themselves. Good experience and I would use them again. They were not cheap, however, but most of the time you get what you pay for.

My only complaint with BRI was the time it took to schedule the work. Not be because they didn't respond to my requests, but because they were so busy. They always responded to my emails promptly. Overall I took that as a pretty good sign that their quality work was good (otherwise they wouldn't be busy... right?). It took about 5-6 weeks to get a scheduled date but to their credit they told me it would be about 5 weeks for them to get to me. Overall the work performed was great. Got everything I was expecting and they cleaned up the area before they left. I would definitely use them again.

Antonio, Jose, and Colton were fantastic! The work quality was exceptional. We could not tell the difference between the old and the new. The team was able to reuse some of the old bricks lying around. The crew was friendly, professional and expedient. They kept the worksite very clean. We couldn't be happier with the overall process from getting estimate, scheduling the work through completion. Everyone we dealt with were responsive, professional and friendly. Overview: We hired Brick Restoration to apply slurry to our exterior brick. We got what seemed a fair quote from Gregory. Start date was delayed a couple weeks, but things went wrong from the very beginning: 2 workers arrived first day to spray wash exterior and equipment didn't work. A couple days later, the truck broke down and they were late arriving. We took the first lead guy, Juan, to see exactly the slurry application we wanted; he produced two samples. We selected what we liked. Work began, (note: guys don't arrive until about 10am, and begin clean-up around 4-4:30pm; in between they take a one hour lunch; actual "work" time is very limited), on exterior of house. Problems from the start: 1. Juan did not use scaffolding and used ladders which resulted in a patchwork quilt look; 2. inexperienced workers that did not understand application of slurry; and, 3. limited hours worked each day. By the time they finished the first wall, it looked like stucco due to the extreme amount of slurry applied with application lines everywhere. We had already notified the office on several occasions that this was going to be a problem. Finally, George (the owner?), came out to view the work and agreed this was not the correct application. For two weeks our project stalled while Brick Restoration figured out how to remove the incorrectly applied slurry. By now, our two week project is approaching four weeks. Work finally resumed with slurry removal involving four guys (Max was assigned to lead onsite project), and for seven or so days we endured noise akin to jackhammers on our walls. Now five plus weeks into project the slurry application resumes. Max does a sample on wall (once again after taking Gregory and Max to see a house with correct application we like). We pick a sample. Work finally commences, and a small wall is selected to ensure everyone knows what they are doing. Again, it is applied incorrectly. End result: has to be removed via the jackhammer method. Meanwhile, my husband and I are constantly on the phone with our rep, Gregory, to explain frustration, lack of consistent work, leading to once again delays and do-overs. Week six and finally a plan is in place, workers slowly seem to get how to apply the slurry, and the project moves along for another three weeks. We still have two walls that the slurry is very sloppy, but the company said "they had spent too much money" and refused to do anything about it. After nine weeks, the job was "complete" and Gregory showed up for final check. No follow-up, no thank you's for your business, etc. As a courtesy, I alerted Betty (Owner/Finance Officer) that I would be posting negative reviews on the usual websites and that I have full documentation for my claims, and never received a response. Final note: This review is only regarding slurry application, and I would not use them, period. As for any other brick work, I have no idea.

Amazing!!!! The house is a Mid Century home, with unique brick that cannot be replaced. I ❤️ this company & would use the for all exterior brick work.

My initial quote was very good. The representative communicated clearly. When it came time to schedule the work, however, I felt forgotten about. I had to call and email repeatedly to get a date on the calendar. There was no confirmation the day before the team came nor a 30-minute "we're on the way" phone call I was promised via email. When they did come and completed the work, I had to send them back up on the roof multiple times since they weren't closing all the gaps in the mortar I expected (and which I could see from the ground). In addition, only one of the team spoke English I could understand, and he clearly wasn't the leader. He had a bad attitude and seemed put out that I wanted to see photos of the work so I didn't have to climb a ladder to see it for myself. I was very disappointed after such a great initial meeting/quote.

BRI was able to repair the damaged brick at a fair cost. They even put up with delays in the job to get an enginning assessment. They were the right people to call.
