Description of Work: Installed new brick on a kitchen extension to an old house. By staining the brick they were able to match the 75 year old brick very well.

Description of Work: Brick Restoration did a fabulous job of repairing our chimney. A portion of the top of it collapsed, and we saved as many of the unbroken bricks as possible. By slightly modifying the design of the chimney top, we had enough salvaged brick on hand and didn't have to purchase additional bricks. | |The other reviews describing Brick Restoration as "artisans" are spot on. The bricks are matched so perfectly that you can't even tell there was a repair. Moreover, even though the brick is painted, we didn't have to call in our painter to touch it up because the restoration was done so well. | |The crew who performed the work kept a tidy work area and cleaned up after themselves at the conclusion of the job. Well done!

Description of Work: Built brick knee under double window (replaced sliding glass door). Pointed cracks in mortor, replaced cracked bricks, reaired large hole with bricks where large speaker (1970's) was removed from patio wall. Can't tell where repairs were made. Excellent job matching mortor and replacement bricks.

Description of Work: Owner was on time for the estimate and gave the entire exterior a thorough review. He also noticed a problem with the brick walls of the garage (that no one else had noticed). He gave me a fair estimate and his guys got to my house on time and began their work. They did a fantastic job - you cannot see it. That is the whole point...they matched brick and mortar so well that you cannot notice that there was ever a break in the bricks. They cleaned up after themselves, too. I would definitely have this company back out to work on my brick work, if ever I needed it.

Description of Work: My 1st attempt to contact them was through their web site, which proved to be a waste of time. No One ever contacted me to discuss my job request. I eventually was able to reach them by phone, asking for a visit to discuss the job and provide an estimate. They did not come out, simply sending me a generic flat rate cost, without gathering the details of my request. Their response gave me the distinct impression that they were not interested in my business, because the job was too small. I went with another company that I found in the local paper, who was responsive and provided me the service I expected.

Description of Work: I'm a realtor and recommended Brick Restoration Inc. to out of town clients, so I don't know what the cost was. They did an excellent job! My client had 4 separate corners on 2 brick walls that were crumbling. It was a very old home with adobe brick. I don't know how they matched the brick, but if you didn't know the corners had been repaired you couldn't see it. I had to look "hard" to see the repairs they did. They were also very responsive to my call, went by the property the day after I called to give my clients an estimate and did the work within just a few of days of my initial call to them (as soon as they got approval from my clients). A couple of years ago they repaired a large "zig zag" crack in a wall for one of my clients and did a beautiful job! I recommend them to all of my clients needing a brick mason. Linda Startz

Description of Work: Restained brick to original color. Filled in mortar. Filled in holes in cement pathway. Everything looks good and is holding up well.

Description of Work: We had a leak over our study window. Restoration identified the location of the leak, removed brick, established a flashing and replaced the brick, all in an single day. First attempt did not fully correct. They came out and expanded the flashing, solving the problem, at no additional cost.

Description of Work: I had two 2'x 3' areas on my porch busted out due to a foundation repair and knew it had to be taken care of because it was a danger to folks stepping on my front porch and an eye sore. I contacted Brick Restoration which was the second contractor I interviewd for the job. They gave me an estimate of $700 and told me it would be a half day job. Everything they said in the estimate and initial consultation was true! They called me to let me know when the crew would arrive. A few hours after the crew's arrival, the job was finished and my total was exactly what they had said it would be. The brick cloning was spot on. I had already purchased bricks and Brick Restoration doctored them to match the bricks of the remaining area and there is no evidence of a repair even being done. As a picky person when it comes to contractors, I was so happy with the final repair of my front porch.

Description of Work: Replaced several damaged bricks in the outer wall of the house. Excellent color match on mortar!!!

Description of Work: Replaced 10 bricks and re-tucked about 100ft of mortar. The most impressive part of the job; Brick Restoration was able to match the mortar perfectly. I'm talking about matching 50+ year old mortar. Will definitely use Brick Restoration again for my next masonry project.

Description of Work: I had cracks in my bricks caused by foundation damage, some hairline while others were up to 1/4" wide. After the foundation work, Brick Restoration came out, replaced 5-6 bricks using some we had at the house, and patched the cracks in the bricks. They worked very hard to match the color of the repairs to the color of the bricks and the mortar. The workmen were very professional, polite, and cleaned up after they were finished. I would not say that in every place, the repairs were 100% invisible - but it was much, much better than I had hoped. After 7 months, The cracks have not returned, color has held, still the same color as the bricks and sill looks great.

Description of Work: They power washed the brick over my front porch to remove mold, then they sealed the brick. They also filled in some small nail holes and replaced grout in the lintel over the front porch. Additionally, they added concrete to a small area in the foundation where concrete had come off. They did a good job and I would use them again.
