Bonilla Foundation Repair

Mr. Vidal Bonilla came out himself and checked the exterior, then measured the interior of the house and checked the grade at many spots to see how level the foundation was. As it turned out, he said our foundation was in excellent shape, nearly level, and did not need repair. He gave me a copy of the house "map" with his measurements and evaluation to keep, in case we needed to have someone else come out later to recheck it. He also suggested a sprinkler system for our yard, to help maintain the foundation in good shape. He was both professional and nice.

I did not end up purchasing the house so the work was not performed, but all the way from the initial phone call, to the estimate, everything was very professional. The inspector showed up on time and gave good, competitive quotes and indicated they could get the job started in a short amount of time. The estimate was free, and they were punctual and very detailed. Would hire again.

From day one, I got all my questions answered and Mr. Bonilla explained everything to me in terms that I understood. He was always available to answer my calls and answered my questions. His crew are fantastic. Any questions I had they had an answer for me. Very respectful men doing this job. The work is messy around the house but just as clean as our yard was in the beginning, after they finished the job, my yard was put back in place like if they were never here. It was amazing. I can not say enough great things about the owner and crew. It was a wonderful experience.

Vidal Bonilla was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took some measurements and explained that the elevation differentials were within construction and weather-related tolerances. He advised that any remedy would likely cause more issues, and he could not in good conscience recommend any foundation work. As he stated, his job would be to resolve our issue, not cause bigger ones. His advice was just what we needed to know, and the inspection was free!

Vidal came out a few minutes ahead of time and got the "big picture" before ringing the doorbell. When he walked in he asked why we had called and I explained some cracks in walls and a few doors and windows that were sticking. Using an electronic level he measured the four corners of the first floor living room and the slab in the garage, and quickly concluded that our foundation was solid and we did not need his services. Very professional and efficient.

Mr. Bonilla was an absolute pleasure to work with. He arrived early, took the time to hear my concerns, thoroughly inspected my property, and at the end of the inspection where an unhonest person could have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge he told me the truth that I wouldn't be needing his company's services because my foundation was fine. He even gave me a few tips to more effectively repair some minor cracks around the house. Great person and would 100% recommend his company to anybody that I knew that needed his services.

Bonilla had the best price by far of all of the companies we called, as well as good ratings, so we went with them. It seemed ok... at first. They put in 8 pilings (whereas another company's quote was 3x more but for several more pilings). Within a year, the foundation issues were worse than before! We called the company back to see if they could fix it due to the warranty, but the answer was, in a nutshell, no. It was as if we had nothing done and wasted our money. If I could go back, I'd pay double to get it done correctly. Now, years later, I'm back to shopping around for another foundation repair company.

I found them through Angie's List. I found they were quite thorough and the prices were reasonable compared to other quotes we had. I think they did a good job. These guys seem to know what they are doing. They are very quick, courteous and I really thought they were good. Mr Bonilla himself was on site here and was very professional with the way he handled the job. If the piles don't hold they said they would come back. They said they try to get the job done perfectly the first time because they don't want to come back, which is a good philosophy. They are highly recommended by Angie's List.

Mr. Bonilla came out, took a look at the walls, ceilings, and floors, before walking the perimeter of the house. He brought his digital level inside and took measurements in each part of the house and wrote all of them down. He told me that i didn't need any foundation work done. He said if it was his house he wouldn't do a thing. I had read many other positive reviews about Mr. Bonilla and I am happy to add mine.

I can't say enough about how well this went. Mr. Bonilla is honest, experienced, and committed to doing quality work. His Angie's List rating is better than his competitor who is priced twice as much, and he's also received no unfavorable BBB reports. After my experience with him and his team, I can see why. I'd strongly recommend him, and would not hesitate to use him again.

HOME RUN!!!! Edgar and his crew worked FIVE DAYS in a confined, dark, dirty, damp and rotted wood environment. My home is now level and solid as a rock! I can't say enough about how professional this entire experience has been, from the first call to the office, to the first visit, to waving good-bye to the crew as they left. I've never owned a pier-beam home before so it was certainly a learning experience for me as a homeowner. If you're having ANY issues with your pier-beam foundation you'll be remiss if you don't go with Bonilla!

It went well. They were very professional and took care of the job as scheduled. The pounding shook the ancient plumbing and caused a leak under the bathroom sink (not surprisingly). The crew helped me take everything out of that cabinet and turn off the water to the sink.

It went very well! Mr. Bonilla used his computer leveling system to check the level of the foundation throughout the first floor of the house. Fortunately we were completely level and no additional work needed to be done. If I ever need a foundation company in the future I will definitely call on Bonilla Foundation!!!

This is the second time we have requested an estimate of foundation repair, first on our home and then on our parent's town home. Luckily, I did not need repair but if I did, I would CERTAINLY use this gentleman. SO professional, honest, and reasonable (compared to the OUTRAGEOUS estimate from Du-west!). What a novel idea! A foundation company that's honest!! You must use this guy!!

The work was excellent. The crew were hard-working, competent folks. They explained the process, did the work, and left the worksite clean. I got my money's worth. The two supervisors were knowledgeable, and ensured that the end result was correct.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment for an inspection/estimate, and they were very accommodating when we had to change the appointment time. Mr. Bonilla was punctual, professional and friendly. Even though he doubted any work would be needed after looking at the crack, he completed a thorough inspection and took measurements to be sure. No work was needed at this time, but if we need it in the future, Bonilla Foundation Repair is the first one we will call.

The technician came by promptly and provide honest feedback. Our house has no issue.

We chose to have tunneling from outside, not inside the house which would have been significantly cheaper but very disruptive. The work was performed over a six week period. It would have been shorter but the heavy, persistent rains in the spring of 2015 prevented work on many days. Workers are not permitted in the tunnels at all if it's raining due to safety concerns. They were very professional, let us know when they wouldn't be there, and did very good work. The results fully met our expectations. When they had finished but before they had filled the tunnels, they waited patiently while our plumbing contractor did sewer line repair (which required an additional tunnel, too). Again, there were delays due to frequent rain. When the sewer line work was done about ten days after the foundation work had been completed, the Bonilla folks returned and filled in the tunnels. We were thoroughly pleased with work and the people and would use them again. For those about to go through foundation work, realize that there will be large mounds of dirt that have to go somewhere. The only available place to put it was in our front yard which, obviously, was a mess with dead grass after 6 weeks under tall mounds of mud.

I have an old house and am planning to replace the windows. I had been hearing more creaking and groaning than usual. I wanted to make sure that there were no foundation issues before spending $$$$ on windows. Mr Bonilla arrived on time and was very thorough in his examination. He found that I have no issues. He was very professional and pleasant and I am very grateful for the no-problem diagnosis. I certainly recommend him to anyone who is searching for a foundation repair company.

I was extremely pleased with all aspects of the work with a couple of minor hiccups. Mr. Bonilla came to my house promptly at the date/time we agreed. I already had an engineer give me a layout of the work to be done, but he checked the level himself and both plans agreed. He told me that the work would be done in 2-3 days, most likely two. The office gave me a start date about 6-8 weeks in the future. They then called me in a couple of weeks and told me that they had a cancellation and wanted to start next Monday. They came down and started. They worked all day, but the next day they told me that the city inspector (city of Seabrook) came by and stopped all work because a permit was needed. I talked to Mr. Bonilla and he did not realize a permit was needed. That was an oversight that should not have happened. But they received the permit in a couple of days and then came out to finish the job. One more day to wait for the inspector and the job was done. The workers were polite, cleaned up everything and left no damage to the shrubs and beds around the house. Other than the inspection glitch, they had a full crew and did the job quickly. I was (and still am) impressed with the neat job of concrete they did where they dug holes in my patio and side concrete pad. The only other glitch was in getting my warranty papers. They said the mailed, but it never came. I called the office, the nice lady said she would mail it again and this went on a few times. At about third or fourth request, she told me that she would send it registered mail and I finally got it in the regular mail. Small problem. All in all, I was impressed with the work, the speed of the work and the price. I would definitely recommend them.

The owner, Vidal Bonilla, came over. A very knowledgeable and pleasant guy, clearly knew what he was doing and talking about. Performed all the necessary tests, explained everything to us in detail, luckily our foundation was in good shape and no repairs needed at this point. Great service overall, highly recommend!!
