Bonilla Foundation Repair

Bonilla Foundation is a completely trustworthy and organized company. They moved my install date up a few days which was totally fine with me. They arrived as promised and the best part was at the end of the day.....it was barely noticable that any work was done. The clean up was inpeccable! Thank you so much for such great work and the ease of working with such a great company! I can now, EASILY, close my doors! We will recommend to ANYONE!!!!!

We definitely recommend Bonilla for any foundation issues anyone may be experiencing. We contacted Bonilla after reading all the extremely positive reviews they had received on Angie's list. Jose came out the first part of December and took the measurements on the foundation and determined how many piers it would take and what the cost would be to complete the repairs. He was very professional and courteous. We felt like the estimate he gave us was reasonable and decided to have them do the work. When we called to retain Bonilla for the job they were able to schedule us in earlier than we originally expected. They started on Wednesday, December 19th and completed the job on the 20th. They did a fantastic job. Fabian was on site for the entire time on Thursday and even helped us identify a significant plumbing problem that had apparently existed with this house for several years. Once the house was leveled, they cleaned up the job site and restored everything to its pre job condition. In summary, they did a great job and while we hope we do not need their help in the future, we would highly recommend them to anyone who needs foundation repairs.

The 5+ man crew arrived promptly each morning and did a full days work. The job took 3 1/2 days total. This was for 32 piers all the way around my house. The bid provided to me by Bonilla was towards the lower end. It wasn't the lowest estimate, but given the importance of the job - I decided on Bonilla due to their reputation. I met both owners and talked daily with the foreman - Nick. The only problem throughout the whole experience was that the cast iron plumbing under my house was damaged accidentally. However, both owners came out to the house to meet me and discuss the accident. Bonilla Foundation stood my their work and fixed the problem at no charge to me. I had multiple bids and did lots of research and for as many choices that are available in the southeast Texas area, there are probably less than a handful of realistic options. If you have to go through the unfortunate experience of having foundation work, I would recommend Bonilla Foundation Repair for the job.

Despite indicating they serviced Brazoria County, they refused to speak to us about doing an estimate, even though we were willing to pay a fuel or travel fee.

Work was done professionally and finished one week ahead of origami time estimate. Workers were punctual and always on time. Something the company prides itself on.

Mr. Bonilla showed up on time, was very knowledgeable and honest.

Mr. Bonilla came out on the agreed upon date to evaluate my problem. He measured the dimensions of my house inside and out so he could make a detailed sketch. H e then made measurements of elevations at key locations within the house. From this he sketched his recommendations and made a quote. When I chose Bonilla to do the job, I mentioned the Angie's List coupon for $100, which was subtracted form my bill. I was scheduled for several weeks in the future. An earlier opening became available, so the work was done ahead of schedule. Everything was completed within one day. My shrubs were replanted, and they made an effort to put the top soil back on top. The yard was left completely clear of all evidence of their presence. I think they did as well as could be expected to try to preserve my shrubs, but I doubt that all will survive. There was one misalignment that did not get corrected by the leveling, but they offered to come in and make adjustments to fix the problem (not required by the contract), and in fact took care of the problem. The comments from other Angie's List users was very important to me in picking this contractor, and I found the reviews to be accurate.

We researched for several months on how to fix our home. We hired an esteemed engineer and Bonilla was at the top of his list. We were amazed that after getting quotes from all the big companies (Du-West, Atlas, etc.) Bonilla was HALF their price. From the very beginning Vidal Bonilla made me very comfortable. He was confident in his company and I knew that he would make sure that everything was done with excellence. He would not recommend any companies for other work that I needed because he said he had a standard his company needed to uphold. He did not want any other company to compromise his and what he stood for. With the thought of people jack-hammering inside our house, we were less than thrilled especially for our kids 4 & 6. Actually the bigger companies were basically telling us that it was going to be a huge mess and that we really should tunnel under the house. ($15,000 more) Vidal told us that it was not going to be great, but it was not going to be as bad as we thought it was going to be. The first day we met Niko who our on site contact everyday. He was awesome and very friendly....always smiling. He was very easy to work with and took time to listen to us and inform us of exactly what was happening. They made sure that our job was done the "right way". Our home had foundation work done 15 years ago by another owner and you could tell that company did NOT do a good job by what they removed. They wanted to make sure that the house was done properly this time around. In fact, they had to put an additional pier inside the house, at no cost to us, to do the job right. Also, the previous company did terrible concrete patching on our back patio that was causing it to pool water when it rained. Vidal made sure that it was fixed before they left and they poured a new concrete patch in that area. Also, we had a leak under our house in which they tunneled for our plumber. They did that with excellence as well and dug until they found the right spot. With problems along the way, which were not Bonillas issues, they were two days behind. They came out on a Sunday to finish up. Afterwards, Vidal himself, coming from a soccer game he just played, came by to make sure all was "perfect". Every night the house was SO CLEAN! They took time to put up plastic sheeting all the way around which helped A LOT! You could tell obviously that it was a work site, but we were able to function and live in the second story of our house for that week. They made sure every hole on the inside was covered at night and made it super safe for my kids to come home to. I can not begin to tell you how happy we are that we chose Bonilla. They went WAY beyond my expectations and the whole experience was so easy! I will recommend them to everyone and hound them until they choose them. :) They were amazing.

First let me say that my husband and I were dreading having our foundation fixed. With quotes we had gotten it was looking like we were going to have to go through the flooring to install the interior pilings as the added cost for tunneling was just too much. We have many indoor cats and dogs and were planning on housing them with the vet during this process, which was another huge cost. We had called six different companies for quotes and were not sure who to use, this was a BIG decision and A LOT of money, we didn?t want to make the wrong choice. That is when we decided to join Angie?s list to see if any of these companies had good reviews. This is where we found Bonilla Foundation Repair. They had so many good reviews we called them to get a quote for our foundation. From the time that Vidal Bonilla(one of the owners) came to the house to give us the estimate (Bonilla was one of seven companies from which we had received estimates) there was an immediate comfort level we both felt. The estimate for a quite extensive repair job that we opted to be completed using the tunneling method came in considerably less than any of the other companies we had bid on the job. Mr. Bonilla said the job would take about three weeks to complete. There were a few weeks between the time we signed the contract and the job began due to scheduling, but this was no issue to us. Fabian (one of Bonilla?s supervisors) came with the work crew the first day to take final measurements as to what was needed and to mark out the areas of the house that required pilings and tunnels, some of which ran over 20 feet under the house. He was very professional and pleasant to work with and introduced the foreman for the job, Nick, and his crew. He also said he would be stopping by about every other day to check in on the job. Because of my job I was able to take off and work from home during this process, so I was home every day. Nick, the foreman, was a complete pleasure to work with. He was always able to answer all of my questions and his crew was not only professional but very considerate! They always locked up the gates when they took their lunch break so I could let the dogs out for a midday run. They swept up the porch area and covered all holes around the house every day before they left. They took good care of the plants they did have to remove for tunneling (I luckily didn?t lose any). Jose Bonilla (another owner) stopped by during the process to introduce himself and see how the project was going. The whole process was a breeze! There was minimal disruption from my day. The only hard part was when they had to break the slab on the porches for pilings, it was loud, but we got through it quickly. The job took a total of two weeks and they did an excellent job of cleaning up. For those of you that care, you will have patches of areas where your grass may yellow from the piles of dirt, but it comes back very quickly with some watering. We cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Bonilla Foundation Repair! We will recommend them to anyone who needs foundation repair. Extremely professional and considerate owners and work crew!

When I contacted Bonilla took a couple weeks for an appointment due to lots of foundation work in area due to recent drought. It was explained to me that if I kept the foundation well watered daily I could maybe put off the repairs. Measurements were taken and I was given an estimate for 16 pilings I only needed them in two areas of my home. Since I had so many cracks in my ceiling and I knew I wouldn't be watering the foundation every day decided to have the work done. It was almost three months before work could be scheduled. The day they arrived to start the work, I was introduced to the foreman and everything that was to be done was explained. A lot of work was done the first day, but we had a summer storm and the holes they had dug were filled with water and still the foreman was apologizing for not getting more work done. They return the next day and though I don't understand how it works the boss came back and was again doing measurements inside my house while they did the adjusting outside my house. He then went and checked all the doors to make sure they open and closed well. The biggest visual change was the large crack in my concrete floor was now a thin line no longer an open crack, that impressed me the most. Everyone was very courteous and polite and I know I saw this comment from other reviewers, but once they were gone you wouldn't know anything was done on my home looking around the yard. They did a wonderful job of clean up

Crew was very prompt and courteous. When I had a concern about the leveling a couple of weeks later, they were prompt about sending a couple of guys out to correct the situation (exactly at the scheduled time, a rarity these days). Very professional and seemed intent on doing the best job possible.

Vidal Bonilla arrived on time to perform the estimate. Made a professional drawing of my home. Looked around under the home and also look at the inspection report that I had. (I have recently purchased this home). Used an instrument to help him determine the unevenness of my home and indicated those areas on the drawing. Vidal recommended replacing a beam that ran the length of my home and adding a second beam to add stability and make the floor firm. The day the work was scheduled, I had a conflict at work and asked them if they could arrive 30 minute earlier than scheduled and they were very accommodating. Work went exactly as they told me, including the few cracks in my walls that were explained to me during the estimate. My home is now level and solid! I am very please with the work and would highly recommend Bonilla.

He was terribly honest and I really trusted his work. His drawings based on his evaluation made you completely agree with what he was telling you. The results were completely true. He was just awesome.

July 5, 2012 Bonilla was one of four companies which gave me estimates for foundation repairs on my home. I found Bonilla Foundation Repair on Angie's List and was impressed by the reviews and ratings. Jose Bonilla came to my home ahead of time for the estimate in mid April... 21 pilings total. I was contracted in May for the project which was to begin the 2nd week in June for 2-3 days. Since I work for a local school district, I wanted the work done when school was out. Workers were prompt on arrival and courteous; anyone entering the house removed his shoes. Jose Bonilla came the first day and introduced me to Edgar the supervisor. He was to answer any questions I might have concerning the work. I was told an extra piling was needed in the garage. The morning of the third day was to be the day of the raising; Jose arrived with Edgar and the other workers. Since Jose had to be somewhere else that morning, Fabian would came later in the morning to supervise the foundation raising and to take the new elevation readings. After the foundation was raised, Fabian showed me the new readings that afternoon. He also checked all the doors. Minor adjustments were made on 3 doors downstairs and on the gate to the backyard. The upstairs bathroom door finally shut! Clean up was done well with ending time in the early evening. Project went very well from start to finish. Thank you Bonilla and Angies's List!

Overall it went as well as anyone could expect. An added benefit was that Mr. Bonilla's estimate was not only the least expensive but everyone else wanted to bust through the foundation in the house to place the internal piers.

Vidal Bonilla came by for an estimate to repair my slab. He arrived promptly at the appointed time. He surveyed the house outside and inside. He made a sketch of the recommended pier locations. Also, he used an electronic level to determine the elevations of the slab throughout the house. Mr. Bonilla was very professional in providing an estimate to repair my slab.

They arrived exactly as they estimated and started work immediately. Work was completed within 4 days and all plants were returned without any loss. Extra soil was spread over back lawn exactly as requested. They even went beyond expectation by repairing doors that would not shut. They even fixed two outside water faucets that were leaking so as not to loose water during their work. All the employees were GREAT and a complete cleanup was completed at the finish of work. Very professional company. I will recommend them to anyone needing this type of work.

I was very impressed with this family company, brothers working together. They were very organized in the work performed, considering the house would eventually look like a mote around it. The foreman kept us informed and was very pleasant. They preserved our plants as much as they could for a week out of the ground. We only lost 2 bushes. Once the work was complete and the concrete plugs in (matching the color of the old concrete), it rained VERY hard and created dips in the concrete plugs. The owner came for a quality check and final payment; the owner stated we didn't need one of the piling and refunded that piling. He also noticed the problem with the concrete plugs and had his crew come back about 3 days later to remove the concrete plugs and pour new concrete. The best part is after all the work and upheaval I expected to spend the whole weekend doing yard cleanup but much to my surprise when I came home from work it looked like no one had been there. The yard and patios were all cleaned and all the dirt in the yard was gone. Wow is all I can say about this company. If all companies operated in this manner, this country would be in fabulous shape!

Bonilla Foundation is a company that truly strives to do the best possible job and give you the best possible service … and they do. I am extremely impressed with their professionalism, hands on attention and quality work. Great. Professional from start to finish.

Fourteen piers were installed and the area is now level. The original date for repair was scheduled for the beginning of June, however they had an opening and we moved the repair up. They sent two repair teams on Friday, May 4th, hoping they could complete the work in one day However, the ground was so hard it took much longer to dig the holes .They worked all day and returned on Monday morning to complete the job. They did excellent work. The men were careful and took the time to even spread ant killer in the holes they dug. When we came home from work and pulled into the driveway you could not even tell any work had been done because they wereconscientious and cleaned everywhere. I would recommend them to anyone.
