Bonilla Foundation Repair

My 1974 home needed foundation repair and was a nightmare searching for a contractor. Every contractor was different in opinions and prices. I found Bonilla Foundation on Angie's List. It took a month to get an estimate and a month later for service. Mr. Bonilla and his team was on time, fast, and efficient. His team started and finished in one day. My placed was left clean. Very professional service. I had 6 interior piers and 7 exterior piers repaired and lifetime transferable warranty. He is not over priced like other competitors. I would definitely use him again. Thanks Mr. BONILLA!!!

Vidal determined that despite the cracking, the actual elevation differential was below the 1" measure used by the industry as a 'fix it' benchmark. Since there has been no increase in the size or number of cracks in the 3 months since their initial appearance, he suggested that we hold off on the foundation work. He said that ultimately - in 3-5 years - we might find that 4 more piers in the middle of the house would be required and that he would be glad to come back and assess the situation then. In the meantime, he charged us nothing for his time and efforts - said just to thank him on Angie's List, which I am MORE than happy to do! He was very professional, listened to my concerns, explained the physics of foundation work in easy-to-understand language -- all in all, a MUCH better experience than my last encounter with O****n.

The house is on a pier and beam foundation and was built in 1940. I wanted the house levelled prior to repairing cracks in sheetrock and installing new windows. I had a structural engineer look at the house to make recommendations as to foundation work. I showed the report to Bonilla. Bonilla showed up promptly on the date scheduled. The work was completed in one week and there was no disruption using the house while the work was going on. I was in the house when they jacked it up to level it and was very impressed by their thoroughness. They restored and levelled the grounds in a reasonable manner. I was very happy with the quality of the work.

We had a meeting set up to look at my townhouse, there's been some movement over the last few years.It took a while to get the appointment because Vidal Bonilla is scheduled out a couple of months for meetings. The office contacted me a week before to remind me, then again the day before. Excellent communication with his office when he and I both had traffic problems and it worked out fine. Vidal was very professional and not out to just sell something. His recommendation was to do nothing with the foundation, it's not that bad. Trim a couple of doors that stick and call him back in a couple of years if I think I need help.

Our experience with Bonilla Foundation was superior. Because we live in a twenty- five year old house, and we saw some tell tale signs of shifting and wanted our foundation checked out. We researched the foundation repair companies on Angie's List and liked what we learned about Bonilla. They also offered a free inspection which was nice in this day and time. We made an appointment. They called the day before to remind us that we were on their schedule and confirmed directions. Vidal arrived the next day and could not have been nicer. After he surveyed our home, he sat down with us and reported on his findings. He even left a copy of his report for future references. Although our home had no foundation problems at this time, we would not hesitate to use this company or refer them in the future.

They were very professional. We would definitely use them again. They were fantastic. They worked as a team. They were all very hard workers.

They did a great job. I see others getting foundation work done in our neighborhood that is not nearly as professional.

They arrived on time, and did an excellent job in getting the job done. All of the plants/bushes that they removed and replaced have survived and are once again thriving. Too early to tell about the effectiveness of the piers, but I do not see any of the cracks continuing to expand, or new ones forming....So I think that the problem has been resolved. Everyone was very courteous, and professional in their approach to getting the work done. It took about 3 days and they seemed to be very mindful of minimizing any damage to our property because of all the digging. I would definitely use them again if needed.

We wanted a foundation repair company to review our foundation prior to performing remodel work on our house. I setup an appointment with Bella Foundation Repair and the provider was on time. The overall assessment of our house's foundation was less than an our, and Bella Foundation was able to provide a detailed drawling of our house's foundation level changes. Bella Foundation was fair and let us know that we would be okay with waiting on foundation work, letting us know exactly where some of our minor foundation problems were located. The provider was very knowledgeable and helpful for our situation. The estimate was free, which was nice as well. We will use Bella whenever we need to fix our foundation in the future.

My parents' house was in badly need of foundation repair as there were multiple long and large cracks on the walls and several doors would not close. I did a lot of research on Angie's List before having four highly rated companies come out and bid on the job. Out of the four companies I was most impressed with Bonilla based on their overwhelmingly large number of positive reviews on Angie's List and A+ rating on BBB, with Vidal (one of the two owners) who explained the problems and the proposed solutions thoroughly during the initial visit, and the reasonable quote that he provided. I selected Bonilla to do the job and could not be happier with how everything turned out. Everyone, from Vidal and Jose (the other owner) to the repair crew and the scheduler, acted in the most professional manner and went above and beyond to make sure things were done right. The crew showed up on time and worked hard over several days. When they finished, they plugged up the holes in the driveway and front porch with concrete, put back all the plants and grass where they belong and left everything spotless. Jose was onsite when the house was leveled. All the cracks on the walls have closed up and the doors now shut easily. Vidal followed up with me to make sure we were completely satisfied. They made this process as painless as possible and we really appreciate that. Highly recommended!

The provider was very professional, on time, dressed appropriately. Provider said my house was level (off by 1/4 inch or less). There was a spot in the center that could use an additional beam for support. He said that it would cost a minimum of $2,400 because of the machines and people involved in the process, but they would replace the wood shims with metal ones in addition to installing an additional beam for support. I decided not to have the work performed at this time. It is kind of expensive and not really necessary. If I do decide to have this work done, I would get an additional estimate from another provider just to compare costs.

This company was very professional. They came out and leveled my foundation in less than two days. They showed up on time, did their work diligently and cleaned up so well you really couldn't tell they had ever been there and dug numerous holes around my foundation. They came out to survey and estimate, of course, in order to bid the project. They were prompt and were very helpful in explaining what they were proposing and why. They were a little higher priced but worth it. The only glitch at all was a little confusion with the office over the start date. Other than that no problems to report.

After posting my review I promptly received a call from Bonilla Foundation. Mr. Bonilla was very apologetic. Apparently they had scheduled the appointment for 1/16/2014. Shortly after receiving the call from Mr. Bonilla, I received another call from their scheduler to assure me that it was an honest miscommunication mishap. Mr. Bonilla personally came to assess my foundation damage the next day. He was on time, very professional, and very knowledgeable. I do plan on using Bonilla for my foundation repair. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ They NEVER SHOWED UP. We had a scheduled appointment for 12/16/13 at 2. I took the day off from work to meet with Bonilla. My wife also inconveniently rescheduled her day and left work early to pick our daughter up from school. When I called to make the appointment I was placed on hold for a long time and suddenly the line disconnected. I called back and finally got to speak to a young lady. When she gave the proposed time for the appointment, I requested an early or later time of the day. I also told her that I work from home on Fridays and I could be available any time of any Friday. She said there were no other time slots available in December and if I wanted an estimate from them it would have to be on this date and time. She didn't budge and basically told me "take it or leave it". I figured this company had great A reviews and it would be worth it. I was very WRONG. I DO NOT recommend this company. No one ever even called to reschedule. Very unprofessional, rude and poor customer service!

I felt like they were honest and I like that. The work they did was great. This is a building that is a factory that I own and it's concrete floors and grease and that kind of stuff, it's not like your home. He came out and that's scary for anyone and being a business your always worried that people are going to take advantage or the fact that you are a business and jack the price way up. He pulled through and said okay your a quarter in down on one side of your foundation the other side is three inches. He said we could spend a lot of money going under here to get you perfectly level from one side to the other side but you know you storing stuff down here and rest rooms are down here, you may not really need that kind of fix, just to keep in safe and to keep your girders in place and that kind of stuff, I can just lift up just one side of it and put something in place, remove some of this and do this and that and whatever for $3000. And that will probably be all you need to keep the place save and functioning and not worry about aesthetics. I really appreciated that he gave me that kind of flexibility so I could make a decision and all that information. I need it to function, I don't need it to look good. He picked up on that and made me a tailor made repair package suited my needs that wasn't over expensive and I appreciated that.

Bonilla Foundation Repair team were FANTASTIC. They were very punctual, even when we had to delay two days of start-up due to the weather (rain). Nicolas and his team of guys were there everyday, very easy to work with. They explained everything in detail that they were doing, and did it with absolute efficiency. When they were finished (yesterday afternoon), everything was exactly back where it was supposed to be - my lawn looks like it hasn't been touched! My house, absolutely perfect! Thanks to Bonilla - I will certainly use them again, and highly recommend them to do any foundation work you have!

He gave me 2 options for the repair based .One was to level and stabilize the exterior of the foundation on the front of the house and the other required tunneling under the front of the house to perform a more complete repair. I chose the more compete repair. I scheduled the job about 1 1/2 weeks in advance. His crew arrived as scheduled and was finished in a day less than the original estimate. I pointed out that there may be a water leak since my billl had been escalting more than expected during the summer. During the job, they found and repaired the leak and would only accept the amount of the parts for the repair which I thought was remarkable! They left the area around the foundation in very good shape and made sure the plants they had to dig to perform the repair survived. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing foundation repair. This is the second time I have used them and was very impressed with their responsiveness, professionalism, and courtesy. Please be aware that if you need to sleep during the daytime, the leveling process does cause a fair amount of noise as the pilings are driven into the ground by a hydraulic jack that vibrates against the foundation.

Price was very high and wanted to cut though my hard wood floors to fix foundation or charge me an extra 6K to go under the house.

They explain step by step what the procedure was done . they even raised up another pier to make sure it was done right without charging me . they were extremely nice and felt safe while they were working.

I couldn't imaging it having gone better. One of the owners (brothers) showed up and performed the initial assessment. His office gave us a time that he would be there, and he was. He thoroughly explained what they would do, how much it would cost, how long it would take, that it came with a transferable warranty, etc. When we selected Bonilla, they scheduled a date and time to start work, and the crew showed up as scheduled. The whole crew was polite and professional, and did an outstanding job. I'm thoroughly pleased.

The entire operation went smoothly and as planned. The crew was always on time and finished in the estimated time frame (2 days). Nick and the guys were extremely nice to work with and all had a splendid, professional attitude. Two unexpected problems arose that were not detectable from a visual inspection and the guys handled these in excellent fashion with no increase in price. One of these required an extra pier that wasn't planned on because there was no way to know until it was dug out. They totally cleaned the area up and replaced plants, and you could not tell they had even been there.

It was excellent. They were really a really good job, and I recommended them to my neighbors. I was really pleased with the lifetime warranty they offer for the repairs. It's also transferable, so when I sell my house it will transfer to the new owner.

We had three bids from different companies, Mr. Bonilla's being the right in the middle of the other two. We had been told by others that we 1. Definitely had plumbing problems that would have to be repaired, thus doubling the cost and 2. That we MIGHT have plumbing problems, and repairing those would add significantly to the cost. All three did a very good job of sketching our house and determining where the high/low spots were. Mr. Bonilla came and inspected the house, and never mentioned plumbing being an issue. When I asked him, he said, "I don't believe you have plumbing issues, and here's why..." filling me in using his years of experience in the business. Needless to say, we hired his company to do the work. The date was set, and the workmen arrived spot on schedule. They told us that the work might take seven days, but on day four, they were finished, leaving our house, our yard and even our driveway as neat as a pin. Very pleased. Recently, I recommended Mr. Bonilla to a non-profit who had been told that their building needed foundation work. They had gotten at least one other bid, and it was significant. Mr. Bonilla came, did his usual thorough inspection and then told my friends that there was in fact, no work needed. I'd recommend Bonilla to anyone.

Bonilla is over all a great company. They were supposed to begin work on Thursday morning and didn't arrive until 1:30pm. The work took two days. Other than that, they installed 11 piers, had to remove some plants and break some concrete outside in order to get under the house, but they replaced the concrete with new concrete (for no extra money) and replaced the plants (not too good of a job there). They were very professional and very courtious. I would definately use them again. I had researched them on Angie's list and BBB and both showed good results. I did get a lower price from a competitor but they had bad reviews on Angie's list and were not part of the BBB. Glad we chose Bonilla.
