Blessings House Cleaning & Organizing

Blessing was a delight to work with and her work was far above expectation! She was commuting by bus when she did work for us -- that posed consistent schedule challenges but we would still hire her again. If you have schedule flexibility (as we did) she is a great fit for performing detail-oriented cleaning with minimal instruction.

The apartment was very clean and we were very happy with the service. In the house, the job was performed well, but I didn't think it was really worth the price. Overall, I since I was pregnant and very busy at work during that time, I was very glad to have some competent help with the cleaning.

They did a terrible job. They overcharged us, and we will not be using her again. If you do chose to use them, make sure you verify workman compensation on employees.

First and foremost, Blessing delivers excellent quality housecleaning. If you want someone to clean your house as thoroughly as you would (i.e. scrubs the kitchen faucet with a toothbrush), she is your woman. She is just a one-woman show, not a team of people, so her service is more about quality than speed. I found Blessing on Angie's List when tenants were moving-out of my rental house and I was needing to get the house deep cleaned. I rent to college students, so that should give you some indication as to how dirty the house was. Blessing came and performed miracles - scrubbing walls, scraping food off the floor underneath the stove, removing layers of built-up gunk on the shelves...I think you're getting the picture. I was so impressed with what Blessing did at my rental house, I now have her clean my own home on a regular basis at a rate of $25/hour. She is very detail oriented without being asked (i.e. cleaning the tracks of the sliding glass doors that my previous cleaners never touched). On various occasions, Blessing has also worked on a few project-type activities with me, such as helping me organize my garage shelves and kitchen drawers. If you're looking for someone to help keep your house nice and sparkly, definitely use Blessing.

Blessing is a nice lady. I asked Blessing to estimate cleaning an 8000 house before we moved in and she quoted $400 after seeing the place. I think it took her 2 days pus a couple hours on the 3rd day to clean the house. Blessing did a great job on certain parts of the house (plus sweeping the garage) and not so good on others. Blessing cleaned by herself and I think this job was too big for her. At the end of the day, she gets really tired so the quality deterioate as time goes on. Our master bathroom and the main travertine floor was not totally cleaned. Blessing asked for another $100 on the 2nd day and we agreed eventhough she wrote a written quote listing cleaning whole house. The house was just too big for 1 person. If I was her, I'd clean the kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom first, the main floor then everything else. She cleaned from left to right so quality suffers when she got to the main rooms at the end of her day and we had to move in the next day.

Blessing is friendly, charming, hard-working and responsible. She performed all of the cleaning she said she would, she arrived on time and did such a good job that my wife was amazed when she got home from work. I have decided to have Blessing come for half a day every other week. I couldn't be more pleased with her service and with her personally.

Wonderful, We LOVE Blessing. The intitial cleaning was 200.00 for our large 4bdrm house, then 100.00 every other week. Not only is she the most thourogh( Even dusts the houseplants) cleaner we've ever had but she is the kindest person, truely....We'd never use anyone else after the quality we got from Blessing...She IS the Best!

Blessings is a pro, is responsive, is very kind. I paid her well in advance of her completing (including money for the new owners) because I had such a strong sense of her integrity and commitment to doing the job well and pleasing me and those who would move in. We were all very satisfied. I will call her to help us move into our new house.

Went great! I had an upcoming dinner party that night, and I wanted to make sure I had my house cleaned by at least 2 different people before guests arrived. Different people spot different duties. Blessings very gently weaved in and out of my first floor, excavating dirt from unseen places, picking up from where Nina left off two days earlier (see previous report). She left my kitchen spotless, shined up all my first floor windows, and mopped in places that havent been mopped in decades.

I was fortunate that Blessing happened to be available the day after I called. She called me before she was due to arrive to let me know she was running a half hour late, which was very nice. She got right to work and cleaned every spot of my house. At first glance, she thought she'd get it done within 4 - 5 hours and quoted me $200, which I thought was a very good deal. She worked hard and stayed until it was all done - a total of 7 hours. My house is spotless. She did not ask or expect more, but I gave her $250 because her work deserved it. She is a delightful person with lots of good energy.

I set up the appointment and asked Blessing to tell me when she would want to start, since I am flexible. She said 9 am. I arrived at 8:45 and at 10:00 I phoned to see where she was. She said she left a message on my home phone. When I returned home it stated that she would be late and arrive at 9:30. Anyway, at 10:00 she told me she was "on the way" but had to go to the post office first. She arrived at 11:00, and started working. At 2:30 she wanted to leave to go pick up a check from another client. She was less than 30 minutes from where she needed to go, so I said she should stay till 4:30. She left assuring me that she would return in a couple hours or less. I didn't want to leave her a key, so I left the front door open, left and asked that she phone me when she returned, so I wouldn't worry about my unlocked property. I kept waiting, and waiting and called her at 8:00. She still was at her house, and said she would call me when she arrived at my property. At 9:30 she called. Anyway, this story doesn't end. She assured me she would finish the kitchen, and come back the next morning early to do the bathroom. I told her to call me the next morning when she was at the property, so I wouldn't be delayed waiting. It was after 10 when she came back. I couldn't be present to pay her. The intention was to complete the work in a day, which she didn't do. She became rude about getting her money, and left 4 phone messages speaking unkindly about getting paid. It was very unprofessional. I was shocked by all of this and greatly disappointed. I had used her two other times. The first time was the best, and then it went downhill after that. She makes a good first impression.

Blessing did an excellent job cleaning completely cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms, and inside windows. Fantastic job with the fridge and oven. We've previously paid for similar work from a another housecleaning team of 2-3 people, and Blessing did a much better job in about the same time all by herself. She came very prepared with all the materials and cleaners she needed. She's a very sweet, well-intentioned person who deserves the work and earns every penny she asks for.

I contacted Blessing after reading reports on Angie's List. She responded promptly and set the time to meet me at the apartment. She also phoned one day before to confirm, which I appreciated. Her work was thorough, and she was pleasant as well. She asked if she could bring a friend to work with her. I agreed. The friend was quite capable as well, and they seemed to be very happy working together. They followed my instruction and were willing to do more if I wanted. I did add a couple more items, which they did as well.

Miss Blessing called me right away and set up a time to come and check out my house and give me an estimate. She said the first time would be more expensive since she would have to do a very thorough job. She showed up a little late on the scheduled day, which made me late(er) for work. Not too much of a problem. She cleaned and even moved my heavy furniture to vacuum behind. That was great. It didn't look like she cleaned the top of the refrigerator. Small detail. But, everything else looked very nice.

Delightful experience. She was expensive, but as I told her, she was worth every penny! Her dusting included moving objects, even removing all movies for the case and dusting behind them. I was thrilled. There was nothing left undone. She did a thorough deep cleaning, restoring my home to a livable habit after 3 months of construction.

Blessing did a great job. She was very thorough, even using a toothbrush to get to difficult to reach places. She had cleaning supplies for every kind of job and seemed to know all the tricks of the trade. She was delightful to work with and completely trustworthy.

Blessing showed up on time, actually a few minutes early which was great, and did a very thorough job! She's very detail oriented and got everything done in the time promised. We've already scheduled her to clean our rental home, as well as to return on a regular basis for our home.

It went very well. Blessing met me at the apt, looked through and made a bid. I agreed and over the following 2 days the work was done. She did exactly what was promised and was totally professional. I gladly recommend her. She did a great job.
