They did a great job. He responded to every phone call/text that I sent before, during and after the work was done. Johnny was on site most days to check on everything make sure that everything was going well and checked in with the contractors. He also made sure that we were comfortable with all of the contractors who stopped by. There is nothing I could complain about and we have not had a problem since it was redone.

John did exactly what he quoted. The job started later than expected but I was contacted by John numerous times to ensure I was in agreement. Bad weather for a couple of weeks. I highly recommend his services.

Worked with us on scope and price and went a bit above and beyond in the end. Excellent clean-up, showed up as scheduled, and completed on-time (once factoring in rain delays). Easy and comfortable to work with and team was very dedicated.

We had the problem for the last 10 years and several people had come out to try to fix it for us and that didn't happen. Johnny came out and he did an excellent job. We no longer had the problem out there. I highly recommend him. He knows what he's doing. He is out promptly. He offers his advice and his prices were very fair.

Easy to work with, thorough, quality work. Any concerns I had were addressed. Mr Blalock always either answered all my calls immediately or responded back quickly. He was always helpful during consultations and responded well to concerns and requests. He worked hard to stay within my budget, and did a good job doing so. His crew was respectful and cleaned up after themselves. They cleaned off all sidewalks and patios each day when their work was finished. They didn't leave trash in my yard. Mr Blalock took the time to get input from us and did his best to incorporate our ideas. His selection of plants was excellent. He put in drains and a pump in my backyard that work very well to keep standing water from sitting after big rains. Mr Blalock referred me to an irrigation company that did a very good job on installing a system.

Everything went well with Blalock Landscaping & Drainage. The guy who came out was very professional. He knew what he was talking about. They were prompt and they answered all my questions.

I was in the process of purchasing a home and the inspection raised some possible drainage concerns. Johnny happened to be in the area when I called to get an estimate. He drove over immediately, and told me that there was not an issue to be concerned about. He could have charged me thousands of dollars, but instead gave his honest opinion that all I needed was a weed-eater. Very happy.

Johnny Blalock was able to judge exactly where the water is going to flow by just eyeballing it and he was right. When the patio was done, it all flowed the way he said it would. I could always get a hold of Johnny. He gave me his cell phone number and he would always answer. They were good to work with and cleaned up after themselves.

Blalock Landscaping did an excellent job. Johnny (Blalock) provided a prompt estimate, punctual delivery of the multiple projects and consistent communication through the final modifications/corrections to complete the work to my satisfaction. This is the first landscaper in Houston I've used who would get a referral from me.

The workers did an excellent job. It was a very neat job and I no longer have a problem. Mr. Blalock is very knowledgeable and provided excellent options which I really appreciated. Being new to the area, I did not know about Angie's List. As a matter of fact, he encouraged me to become a member so I could have professionals at my finger tips in time of need. I would definitely use this service again.

The people that did the work were very nice and friendly. They showed up on time and worked all day for two days before they were done. They would take a 1 hour break for lunch, but that was pretty much it. The foreman would come and check the work throughout the day to make sure everything was right.

They really stood by their work. After it was put in I still had a small area where there was a little water after a really big storm. He came right over and added another drain in that spot. He did it for free too. I thought this was wonderful. I had interviewed six others for the job but I had a sense that he was trustworthy and cared about his work. I forgot the price but it was over $1000.

Without even coming to see the area where I needed drainage I was given an estimate of $2,000. I appreciated that this contractor was up front with me about not bidding any job less than $2,000 but I don't think this is any way to do business.

I never met Mr. Blalock, but my husband was extremely pleased with the interaction from start to finish. We did not get bids from any other vendor, so I am unable to make commment on the cost of the work done. I am very pleased that when it rains, water does not pond on the patio.

Johnny Blalock was very knowledgeable and thorough in discussing the alternative solutions to our drainage problem. His work crew is very experienced in this type of work and performed the job quickly. I did not get other estimates for the work, since I wanted the work done immediately. I think the price may be a bit high, but it may just be a case of paying for high quality.

Blalock Drainage answered my call quickly and followed promptly with estimates and installation. They were very reasonable with their prices and were able to explain the specific reason for the piping and French drain and the advantages. The installation was scheduled as soon as an agreement was made, and the installers were on time. They cleaned up any mess and left the yard in tip top shape.
