Bill came out to give us an estimate on the job. He was very prompt. We decides to hire him. He runs his business with this in mind: Quality, service, integrity, and trust. We were very pleased with him and the work he completed.

I called Bill while he was on vacation. He was very friendly and responsive on the phone and made an appointment for the following week. He promptly showed up around 8:30. We showed him the work to be done which consisted of mainly repairs after tenants had moved out. We wanted to freshen up the house for the new tenants who had already moved in, so Bill had to work around two very active little girls, furniture, toys, etc. He was wonderful and very laid back. As soon as he saw the work at hand, he offered to repaint all the walls instead of touching up the walls. He did much more than we expected. He was very clean and very careful with the tenant's belongings.

They did an excellent job. He went above and beyond. There were some windows that my contractors put up the frame around the window, and he bought the materials and did it. And then painted it.

He did a very nice job! We bought the "painter for a day" special. He ended up staying over 8 hours and still did not charge us anymore. We increased the amount we gave him for a job very well done! I would certainly use him again:)

I found Bill's painting special of "painter for a day" for $249 on Angies List, I decided to call him. I was immediately able to reach him and explain what I needed. He was very nice to talk with and he told me he could come the following week as he was already working on two houses. We arranged for him to come on Wed and he ultimately came on Thursday which worked well. Upon arriving that morning at 9AM promp,t he didn't delay in getting started. He was very polite and asked if I minded if he played his talk radio. Shortly after he started working, I interrupted him to ask how much it would cost if he returned another day to paint the master bath. Much to my surprise he said he could do it that day. Wow! It was then included in the "day" price!. I was thrilled and went and bought the paint. Bill always covered the carpets and tile in the rooms he was painting thus leaving no paint anywhere to clean up. I did need to buy extra paint that day, but I prefer how he likes to avoid having the customer buy extra paint if it's not necessary. He doesn't want you to have to spend extra money. I live 5 minutes from the paint store so it was not a problem. The walls all came out great. My husband did see some paint overage on the trim. I contacted Bill and he readily said he'd touch it up. He is returning to paint some cabinets and he'll take care of it next week. I prefered to just have him do it when he returns. I found Bill to be a very friendly and honest man and I was very happy with my walls.

I hired Bill as a "Painter for the Day". He painted multiple rooms in our house: living, dining, hallway, and bathroom, including the baseboards and crown molding. Everything came out looking good. I would hire him again if I needed more painting. Also, he was able to come out to do the job within a few days of talking with me which was great due to my time constraints.

I had a fine experience with them. The guy was fast. He completed the work before eight hours. I could not use his services before the coupon expired, but he extended the coupon. I was very satisfied with the work. I would use the company again in the future.

Bill is very professional and obviously a very experienced painter. He came earlier than planned and did a fantastic job. I am very happy with the result and will definitely use him again.

Bill is a very sweet man. I paid for the special for interior painting for the day and I am very pleased with his work. First of all, my tenant did not have any gripes (so far) so I assume all went well. Bill is very honest, he doesn't cash the check until his work is completed. He came out to paint timely and was always in communication with me. I will definitely call Bill back in the future to paint my exterior or any other rooms in the house.

Bill Berkline was the second person I called. His estimate was so much lower than the first, and his reviews were so good that I decided to give it a go. He showed up on time and required very little set-up. He worked expediently and was pleasant overall. However, I was not satisfied with the quality of the painting. Our walls were in good shape prior to this experience and are now covered in drips. In addition, his estimate was for one coat, and he acknowledged after he'd finished that it would need a second coat and that he would have to come back another time (or I could do it myself). He attributed the dripping to the paint (Valspar), although my Mom and I later applied a second coat of the same paint and were able to avoid significant dripping. It became more and more apparent when we were painting it ourselves just how uneven and how drippy the initial paint job was. In addition, I had him paint our built-in cabinet a dark color (which was my primary reason for hiring a professional) and it looks very sloppy. Bill doesn't believe in using tape, and when taking this in consideration it looks alright, but it still doesn't look like the work of a professional. The main positive I got out of this experience was that I felt more confident in my own painting skills.

I bought the painter for day coupon, and when I was ready to set the appointment, I called Bill. He was able to schedule it for the next day, and suggested where I could get the paint and I was able to obtain an excellent discount using his account. He completed the painting in a day, and did an excellent job. I highly recommend him. I also understand that he does exterior painting, and if I needed that type of work done, I would definitely trust him to do a good job with that.

An estimate was given along with the date they would be able to paint the exterior of our home. Wood was replaced in some areas. They even painted our down spouts. Excellent job and a great price. We will be having Birkline paint and and update two bedrooms and a bathroom this fall. Great prices!!!!

Bill was on time from start to finish. His price was reasonable. The quality of work is excellent. He was very responsive and pleasure to work with.

I purchased a Big Deal with them. The person who came out was a little bit sloppy and he damaged the floor in one spot where the piano was when he moved it. I would not use them again in the future.

Bill kept me informed of his availability subject to completion of projects in process. I had a list of items that needed work and Bill suggested some other areas that I decided to add. All the work was completed in the Big Deal one day limit.

I purchased the Big Deal offer, 8 hours of painting for $250. Bill was punctual for the estimate and the work. He was friendly and outgoing, explaining what he was doing and why. I learned lots from him, and the work looks good. I'm very happy that I've found a good painter. I'll definitely be calling him again in the future.

Bill Birkline is a very knowledgable and personable individual. He takes his responsibility very seriously and takes pride in his work. He was prompt, organized, and treated my possessions and pets with respect. I am so pleased, I cannot wait to show off his work. We have already made an agreement for him to paint another room in my house.

Bill has done all our painting, as well as a lot of electrical work for us, over the past 3 years or so, in both our old house and our new one. We keep coming back to him because his work is high quality, he takes pride in his work, charges very reasonable prices, is reliable and honest, very resourceful, and has a lot of different skills. He is primarily a painter, but he's also installed a number of ceiling fans, lights, and appliances for us, installed a door, and a lot of other odd jobs. We've been very happy with all the work he's done, and will keep hiring him in the future!
