Perfect excellent services and very good price

This company sends different people every time. They were not seasoned and didn't seem well trained. After 3 services they sent me a bill without performing the service but said they completed the service. I was home the entire time and assure you this was not the case. I made 3 phone calls and cancelled my service and decided to write a review. I cannot in good faith recommend this company.

I had a heck of a time getting my service scheduled. I purchased the deal through Angie's List. Upon purchase, I selected some times and dates that I was available and the website said Berrett would call me to schedule. That was on 7/27. The first call from them was received on August 3rd (after all the dates I had selected). I had a voicemail from a lady named "Vee." When I called back, someone else answered and said Vee would call me back. The next afternoon I still had not heard back from Vee (and I had provided my work number to call me on in addition to my cell phone on the original order). I called back and was told Vee was not at her desk so she would call me back. By the following afternoon, I still had not heard from Vee so when I called again and was again told Vee was not available I asked that someone else schedule me or get me to a manager. At that point they finally agreed to get me scheduled. The girl I spoke to at that time tried to say they had been calling me on a different phone number. I found that odd since I had specifically given both cell and work number. After that, the service itself was fine and the technician who came to my home arrived toward the end of the 2 hour window given, but was still within time and did a fine job. The service was finally performed on August 9th after purchasing the deal on July 27th. Because of the great hassle I had getting the service scheduled I would not likely use this company again though nothing was wrong with the service itself. I don't feel I should have had to work that hard just to schedule someone to come to my home.

They are very hard to schedule. They schedule to perform the service and do not take into account their client's schedules. This has happened numerous times. When I called today to reschedule the service, I was hung up on (or they lost the connection - same difference - and then they did not call back to reschedule which is what I need. Very unhappy with their lack of customer service from their front dest folks. I am looking for an alternative to theme -any suggestions? Thanks, Kim

I got them from Angie's List. They had a $99 special but I did sign a contact with them. They are fine.

Scheduling went well and the technician arrived on time. The pricing was quite reasonable as I purchased with the coupon.

Nice guy. Very helpful and informative. My favorite part: the entire upstairs of my house is carpeted, and is very clean. I never walk up there with shoes on. I hate asking folks to take their shoes off or put on covers, but I have to. This guy just just automatically took his shoes off before going upstairs without me asking. It's the little things that stick with you.

I thought he did a good job, he took his time to do things correctly, and he was thorough.

I had been a Berrett Pest Control client was reasonably pleased with my services up until this point. The appointment scheduler tried emailing me appointments but there were no days that I would be home to have the services rendered because I have been out of town a lot. Low and behold Berrett Pest control runs my card for over 200.00 without having performed services. Informed me that I couldn't cancel my services via email when I emailed to get this reversed and then when I called refused to send me an email confirming my services were canceled. If you take a chance and use them then please no they keep you on an endless loop of contracts and make it extremely difficult to get out of the services even if the contract is up. The whole thing was so underhanded. My bank reversed the charges but I was very polite when I called and they would not even let me speak to a manager.

It went great. Jamol was a nice and polite person. He explained what he was doing. I would recommend him.

Well so far so good I haven't seen any now for about a month or so, I haven't had any rats, I have heard some noise up in the attic, I haven't smell anything so I don't know I was half a sleep one night when I heard something woke me up but I don't know what it was, they probably need to come about how in the next couple of weeks and check the boxes for poison. I checked all my traps and all of them are empty, I haven't had a mouse, they have done good so far.

They come out quarterly. I have had them to do 2 services in the last 6 months and both times require second services because it did not take. My time is very valuable and when IU have to get them out again I get frustrated. They are not more expensive then anyone else out there. Each time they are pleasant, nice, cooperative but do not complete the job. It is a lot of trouble. They have been professional.

I wish I'd read the reviews earlier maybe I would not have hired them. The reason we called him was for ants but I'm just wiping up ants over the counter tops, in every drawer, on the computer, on the desk, they are everywhere. The problem is when they come, you pay and they make you sign a contract for a year. They claimed that they would come back but I don't know if they are going to come back. From some of the reviews I've read, they are not very good. We told him to spray the entire yard and he claimed he had done that yet the ants are everywhere. They didn't charge me and the reason they didn't was because they screwed up so much on the appointments. It was just bad from the beginning. The guy tried so hard but it was ineffective. The gentleman that came here was very professional. We sent a letter to the owner of the pest control about 3 days ago and we hope he'll call at least Monday and reschedule or something. The employee that came out was very polite and he said he put out poison and he did this and that. I don't know whether he's using the correct poisons or not. Right now I'm very unhappy with them. I have to get out of the contact with them.

We have an annual contract. They are okay.

I was having an issue with silverfish, and they seem to be gone now. I have not had any pest issues since the date of service.

Unfortunately, I don't have the name of the tech that initially came out in front of me. However, he was very professional and knowledgeable. My sister even used Berretts afterwards. However, we did have to ask them to come back out because we where still having spider and wasp problems. They responded immediately, and another tech came out and sprayed again. He also pointed out an opening that we needed to seal to keep the wasp from coming inside our home. We are still having problems with spiders and wasp, I don't know why. I can tell you that the initial visit when they sprayed, it rained pretty bad that night and many days afterwards. Even though I was told that the products are rain tolerant, I think it may have rained too much and perhaps washed away most of the chemicals. Unfortunately, we are still having a problem with both even after the second spray. We did sign a contact with Berrett for a year (approx. ($95.00 a quarter), so we will see what happens. I'm not sure if it's a combination of too much rain during the times they sprayed, then too much heat or what. But, their customer service is great and I hope when they come out again and the weather gets better, our spider and wasp problem will go away.

The bad is the treatments they have been doing haven't been curing the problem.

Purchased Groupon for Int./Ext. Pest Control. Sales pitch on phone to sign up for contract. Did not book then, but called another day, when sales pitch started again, said had heard it before, but wanted to try service first. Booked groupon. Tech very nice and personable, no sales pitch, put a couple of squirts of spray on baseboards in rooms downstairs. Tech then says he is out of spray, none left for upstairs, he will have to make some more up and asks where the water faucet is outside. I accompany him to the water faucet and he fills spray can with water, then goes to his truck where it looked like he had a small pack of something to mix in. He sprays upstairs, does exterior, and leaves. Hardworking tech, but Treatment did NOT appear to work. Ants move in from outside to large master bathroom ( had some in kitchen awhile back and treated them with liquid ant bait, so was not concerned with this), but i was not finding dead bugs almost two weeks after they sprayed and different alive bugs were running on baseboards and elsewhere downstairs almost 2 weeks after spray. I thought since they were mixing their own spray, I just possibly got the bottom part of can and the chemicals weren't present, just water, so called company and spoke to same guy I had talked to twice before. He says NO guarantee for Groupon. He said bugs can move in or out with treatments and in this case they moved in. I said ok, but I have never had pest control without finding dead bugs after spray in any house i have been in Houston. He said everything they use is regulated. I said I have never had a pest control company fill their tank or can with water at my house. At this point, seemed like just getting excuses. so said I would call groupon for groupon guarantee and write review. Groupon gave me a credit for my groupon account I waited a little longer than another week, then bought a can of insecticide for ant, roach, spider, and other insects. Sprayed master bath and had plenty of dead insects over the next week in master bath. Will have to call another company. Tech was great, not company response. Think I just got bottom of spray can without chemicals that work.

Berrett Pest was great to work with. Our tech, Martin, was thorough, informative, and friendly. We have been blissfully free of mosquitoes and inside bugs, and plan to contract for quarterly services.

Have a new house, approximately 9 months old. Noticed a couple of minor bugs, wanted to treat it before it became a major problem. Purchased the $69.00 one time treatment on Big Deals. Easy to schedule, and arrived on time and was polite and professional. Sprayed inside of house, and around the perimeter. He noticed a few fire ants in the weepholes for the exterior brick. He treated them, overall very professional, polite and will use them again.

The issue came in with signing a quarterly contract. They show up at the time they want the price is 139.00, i chased the guy away called the company, told them i will call. Monday get another call from them telling me when they are coming. No you come when i call. With summer time electric bills, i found out if i did not call make the appointment before end of August would be charged any way. Will finish out this contract * 2 more times before Feb then use someone else. While the amazon go local coupon was great, their way of doing service contract is horrid do not sign for contract.... What if you are not there when they show up???? arrrg Mrs D Shaw
