On Nov 11th, I purchased a twin bed and paid extra for delivery and installation. Delivery was scheduled for Nov 25th. I followed up to verify a time for delivery. I was told it would be a 4 hour window and the delivery person would call me the morning of, with a specific time frame. On the 25th, I missed a call on my cell phone before 9AM but immediately called the number back -- with no response. I also could not leave a message due to the mailbox being full. I called a total of 4 more times throughout the morning -- again no answer. I finally called Bel at approximately 2PM to speak to someone in the delivery. I was told that the delivery was scheduled from 3-6PM and that someone "reported" that they called and left a message on my phone. I assured her that no such message was ever left. She continued to rudely insist that a message was in fact left and that they would be there this afternoon. (No apology was given) At 5:50PM, I receive a call from the delivery driver -- by 5:55PM, he rang my door bell. I had to remind the driver to please put on his mask before entering my home. I showed the delivery man specifically where I wanted the bed placed and he and another gentlemen brought the furniture in and installed the bed. However, they installed the bed in the wrong place and pushed it into the far corner where it was flush against the wall. I went ahead and signed for the delivery and did not bother with having them move the bed. The day after Thanksgiving, I move the bed to the correct spot and noticed there were damages. Dings on the front bed post and major damage on the side rail that was hidden and pushed up into the corner. I immediately call customer service and inform them of my negative experience thus far, the damages and the dishonestly shown by delivery drivers. I was met again with rudeness and an attitude over the phone. She instructed me to send proof via email and file a formal complaint but there was no guarantee that the bed would be replaced. "Depending on how bad the damage is" someone from Bel will determine the next recourse. I was told it would take 24-48hrs for someone to respond. (No apology was given) On Dec 1st, I sent an email complaint with the receipt of my invoice and pictures of the damages. I received no response. On December 8th, I called the customer service number again to follow up on the status. I explained my disappointment with their service but was instructed to resend my email, adding the attention: CINDY, and that she would contact me by the EOB. (No apology was given) Again, no response. On Dec 14th, I called the customer service number, yet again, to follow up on the status. I went through the course of events AGAIN -- explaining my disappointment and dissatisfaction. As luck would have it, I was speaking to "CINDY" -- the same woman I spoke to the previous week. (Finally an apology was given) Cindy placed me on hold for a while and came back to inform me that Bel could send someone this upcoming Thursday to replace the damaged side rails. She instructed that someone would call me Thursday morning and give me a window for delivery. (Very deja vu) Also, a technician would be in contact with me, sometime in the future, to schedule an appointment to come and "fix" the damages on the bed posts. (No name, no date and no time frame was given) I am beyond unhappy, insulted and unsatisfied with the outcome of my complaint. I hope they are able to rectify the situation before the Christmas holiday but highly doubt it. I will continue to follow up with customer service until the damages have been fixed or replaced. I will NEVER AGAIN purchase furniture from Bel. It is not worth the headache or aggravation.

The sales process was fine, standard furniture salesman clinging to us as we looked. Took a long time to actually pay for our order. Receiving our merchandise was another story. I drove to the warehouse to pick it up after a 2-week wait. Upon returning home, I found it to be the incorrect item. They offered to deliver the correct item and pick up incorrect one after another week, sometime "between noon and 6 p.m." After pressing about the inconvenience of such a vague delivery time, they offered to call an hour before they were coming. After that week, they called but said they damaged our item and it would be another two week wait. We decided to cancel the whole order in disgust, they would not offer any further compensation, plus I had to take the incorrect merchandise back. We will never shop with them again, way too many furniture places around to have to deal with that nonsense.

DELIVERY COMPANY DELIVERED & SET UP FURNITURE. THE GRANDFATHER CLOCK DID NOT HAVE WIND UP KEY. THE LIGHTS IN ENTERTAINMENT CENTER DID NOT WORK. I ALSO HAD TO ASK FOR DIRECTIONS FOR GRANDFATHER CLOCK FROM DELIVERY DRIVER. IT TOOK BEL FURNITURE OVER 2 MONTHS TO FINALLY SEND SOMEONE TO FIX LIGHTS & BRING KEY. THE GRANDFATHER CLOCK WORKED FOR A WEEK & STOPPED, & IT WILL NOT RUN AT ALL. BUT I AM JUST GOING TO TAKE THE LOSS BECAUSE I AM NOT GOING THROUGH THE HASSLE THE COMPANY GAVE ME THE LAST TIME. I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM THEM BECAUSE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM THEM WAS UNSATISFACTORY.
