+ -1 moreEduardo recommended, in addition to replacing the damaged wood, that all of the wood floors be completely sanded, stained and refinished. The finished floors look great. During the project Edwardo and his team took the time to protect other areas of the house from dust and debris. In addition, the project was completed in less time that originally estimated. We highly recommend Beautiful Wood Floors for any wood floor project.
Description of Work: Our rental house has original wood floors that had been damaged by water in the past. We hired Edwardo to replace the damaged wood and install wood floors with a similar look since the replaced floors needed to blend with existing wood.

Description of Work: Eduardo is an excellent hardwood floor expert. He was extremely responsive, competent, friendly, and diligent, and my 1980 powder room floor has now been repaired beautifully. His price was fair and reasonable, and he is one of the friendliest guys around. Eduardo and Beautiful Hardwood Floors was recommended to me by Eric Herrera who is currently doing some outstanding tile work in my house. (Eric Herrera is an Angie's List super star.) When a plumber removed a toilet in my powder room, the hardwood floor and the scrits underneath were found to be completely rotted away. I was very dismayed and asked Eric Herrera who he might recommend. He and Eduardo Rosario had worked together for a number of years for a builder or builders before each went out on his own. Eduardo came to see my tproject early in the evening on the same day I called him. I really appreciated that. By the next morning I had a clear and concise estimate to remove the damaged wood, install new matching red oak, and sand and seal all, including new shoe molding. Eduardo showed me exactly what he was going to do, and he did it. I was concerned that it would be difficult to match a 1980 floor, but Eduardo did it expertly, and I defy anyone to distinguish between the new and the original. My experience with Eduardo and Beautiful Hardwood Floors was excellent, and I would certainly recommend Eduardo to others, and I would definately hire him again. Thanks, Eduardo. Well done.

I advised that I probably would offer the buyer a credit. He refused to be paid for the estimate. But I insisted he be paid for his time. Will call him for my next hardwood installation

Description of Work: I contacted them to give me an estimate to install wood floors on master bedroom, stairs and guest bedroom. Eduardo came to measure things and gave me an estimate. I thought the price was fair and the Angies' list reviews were so good that I did want them to do the work. However, they NEVER call me back. I called and e-mailed them but no response. I think they don't do private work and/or do not work in the area anymore.

+ -1 moreWe pulled up the carpet in a secondary bedroom and found very damaged wood floors underneath. We contacted Professional Floors (based on their Angie's List reports) to get their advice on whether the wood floor could be saved or if new flooring would need to be laid over it. Eduardo and Cris arrived on time, looked at the floor and told us they could restore it. They measured and gave us separate price quotes for refinishing the existing floor and for laying new laminate/wood over the existing floor. We told them we would think about it and call them back. We chose to restore the original floors and made an appointment for the same week. They showed up on time again and finished the work in about 8 hours. They sanded the floor down to bare wood, prepped it, refinished it with a dark stain to hide spots that did not come off in sanding, sealed it, added trim molding, and cleaned up after. We didn't think the floor could be saved and we were stunned at how beautiful it looked when Eduardo and Cris were finished. That room now has the best floor in the house. Do: Leave a message when you call. They will call back, usually the same day.

+ -1 moreThey came on time to take measurements but never came back with estimate. They also told me they don't remove the carpeting once they've taken it up to put down floors. They leave it with the homeowner for disposal. As well they weren't able to put in baseboards to finish the hardwood floor installation.
Description of Work: Called them for an estimate. They were able to come right away and were on time. However, came and took measurements and I never heard from them again.

+ -1 moreEduardo and his crew are excellent at their jobs; I have used them in the past and have never been disappointed. They are the most professional contractors that I have ever come across. They always call back in a timely manner, and they always show up when they say they will.
Description of Work: We bought a foreclosed home and the floors were a bit rough. In one of the rooms there was only concrete flooring. Professional Floors came and installed a new wood floor over the concrete and did a repair job on another spot that was damaged. A few days later they refinished the floors in the entire house.

+ -1 moreEduardo met me at the house on a Monday night and gave me a quote per sq. ft. His assessment of the job was very professional and thorough. I requested the earliest start date and he scheduled me for the following Monday. Eduardo and his crew met me at the house that following Monday as planned. He said that they would remove the old shoe molding, sand, stain, install new shoe molding and apply the first coat of Polyurethane the first day, which they did. The second day they applied the final coat of Polyurethane. He made sure that I was aware that no traffic should be allowed on the floor for about 48 hours after the final coat. The floors and Eduardo and his crew far exceeded our expectations. They also left the house clean.
Description of Work: Refinished 900 square feet of red pine floors.

+ -1 moreJOB #1: Eduardo came over & gave me an estimate on the work. The area was prone to humidity & Eduardo had to come back several times to check the humidity levels. After about 5-6 visits over a period of 3 weeks he suggested that the area would not be conducive to the installation of wood flooring, due to the high humidity levels. I can t thank him enough for his honesty & diligence in this rather small job prospect. He always showed up when he said he would & always called when he said he would. JOB #2: I was on a trip, and although I had extensive communication with Eduardo in the past, I did most of the coordination over the phone. They arrived early in the morning, and when I got in around noon the sanding was completely done and they were in the process of starting the refinishing process. Everything was wrapped up in one day the floors looked absolutely fabulous.
Description of Work: JOB #1: Installed oak wood flooring over a concrete area of about 300 square feet. ($680.00) JOB #2: Refinished hardwood floors in 1800sf house. ($1700) Eduardo is extremely professional and honest guy. He returns or answers his calls promptly shows up on time and does the job in the given timeframe and estimate.
