After shopping around on Angie's List, I sent Automatic Gate an e-mail detailing the services I wanted. I received a quote from Jack that same day. I followed up with a few questions, all of which were answered the next day. The following day, I sent in confirmation that I wanted him to perform the service. Jack was out the next business day to do the installation. The entire process took less than a week. Jack was very easy to work with, as I had a few options added after the initial contact. The work was done in less than two hours and it was very clear what I was being charged for. He left my gate in much better condition than it was originally, as he levelled it and also straightened a post. During the work, Jack called to update me on progress and share other things that could also be done down the road. There was no "hard sell" or "get it today at a cut rate" involved, as everything he was telling me was for my benefit and future consideration. Jack is very experienced and knowledgeable and does what he says he is going to do. His work looks great and the price is very reasonable. His communication with the customer is very good and there are no "gotchas" once he arrives at site to do the work. Removal and haul off of my old system was included in the price and any options were very well communicated. I am sure I could contact him with questions about gate maintenance at any time and get a prompt and helpful answer. It was a good deal and I will definitely keep him at the top of my list for future gate or wrought iron work.

FANTASTIC. Months ago a neighbor of mine had an iron driveway gate installed, and I saw a sign in yard from Automatic Gate Company. I put that number in my phone as I new that one day I would need help repairing MY iron driveway gate because of a poor installation job and nonexistent customer service from the company I used (Western Fence). I never got an automatic opener because I didn't want that messed up either by Western. We've been locking it manually since. Recently, as expected, my iron gate finally got to the point it couldn't be adjusted anymore to avoid hitting the concrete. So I called Automatic Gate Company and talked with Jack. He suggested sending him some pictures, which I immediately did, and he verified the problem - the 4" posts weren't set deep enough in the ground. I kinda knew this was the problem. To make a longer story short, Jack invited me to his warehouse, explained the problem, showed me their process and gate operators, and came out THE NEXT DAY to install a solar-powered gate operator AND fix my post/gate problems as a result of the horrible installation job by Western Fence. And get this: Jack himself came out with an employee and DID THE WORK HIMSELF. I will forever recommend Jack and Automatic Gate Company to everyone, and think Jack is at the top of his class.

The company communicated what they would do and they did exactly what they said they would do.

The total process took about 4-5 weeks, but the final product was well worth it. This is a very stout fence that should last as long as the house.
