Description of Work: They monitor our company in Pasadena. We do not use them for our home. My husband has used them for years, their price maybe high, but I haven't heard him complain about their service, which is saying something. We use Protection One at our residence and pay $46.23 monthly, a few years ago we upgraded some and that cost extra. So far so good. We really didn't shop price. Our alarms are registered with City of Pasadena yearly.

Description of Work: Let me talk about the only thing good about this company first. Once you finally get a competent person on the phone, they will send out a service technician. The service technician that they have sent the last two times was excellent! Now the bad... which is everything else about this company. The alarm was not set appropriate when it was initially installed which led to 10 false alarms in 6 months and fines from the police department. When the alarm would go off, they usually skipped calling me and my second contact and went straight to calling my fourth and fifth contact. Apparently following order is difficult. Then when they called, they would ask for a password and then say it was incorrect. Finally had to give all my contacts everyone else's password because it was always a guessing game which password they expected (but it was never the password assigned to the person they called). When I would call and complain, I would be passed around and then told that I was under contract and to basically suck it up because things not going to change or they not do anything wrong. Apparently being completely rude and incompetent is standard for their customer service. I am counting down until I can be rid of these people. They basically give you a ten business day window for them to acknowledge that you don't want to renew your contract before they unilaterally renew the contract. Depending on who you speak with, you get different answers on how to best end this painful experience. I am going to follow what is on the contract to the letter; however, I would not be surprised if they don't contest or ignore and just auto-renew the contract based on my experience with their customer service. RUN DON"T WALK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Finally, the cost of the service has more than doubled since it started with the service getting exponentially worse.

Description of Work: They replaced a keypad for our alarm system and checked the performance of our alarm system throughout the house.

Description of Work: They had to install camera ,but it was a mess.

Description of Work: Asg installed cameras and an alarm at our business. The cameras we were sold were not the correct ones for a commercial setting. We had many problems with data storage. Then a camera broke and after 30 days they still had not replaced it. I will say that they gave us a full refund. That was good.

Description of Work: We currently use them for our monitoring service. We called to get a quote for adding security cameras to our service.

Description of Work: My monthly invoice was increased without any notification. Came across the increase by shear accident. Changing to another company after many years of being a customer.

Description of Work: I sent an electronic request for someone to contact me on 6/27/2012. I received an automated response indicating some one will contact me by 11:00 am on 6/28. When I did not receive a call, I called them on 7/2/2012 and left a voice message. It is now 7:00 pm on 7/2 and I have not been contacted.

Description of Work: They activateded my alarm system in our new home and installed a motion detector. They trained me in the use of the alarm and tested the entire system.
