As You Like It Carpet Care

I've been looking forward to ease, competence and professionalism and experience all of that with AS YOU LIKE IT Carpet Cleaning. Life is so hectic and it's great to be able to count on someone to do as they say they will do. I will recommend them to all my friends and neighbors. They arrived on time. Performed the service and indicated that if one or two of the stains they cleaned off the carpet did not come out, that they would return to clean again, free of charge. They also explained that sometimes if I try to clean the stains, that the soap stain may come up a day or two later. This was helpful for me to know. The carpets remained clean with no stains re-emerging. It was a great experience from beginning to end.

I have tried several other carpet cleaning services in the last 10 years at our house, but this was by far...the best one I have found. Ron and Huerve(?) showed up on time and went right to work assessing our carpets and determining a price for the work. They moved furniture around to better access the carpets...much more than any other company I have tried ever considered. The work was completed in a very timely manner with Ron updating me on the progress along the way. After one week...I am still amazed at how clean these 16-year old carpets look...probably better than at any time during the 10+ years that we have owned the house. The service was not cheap but with the results...it was money well spent...especially compared to what I paid for other services that were not nearly as good. I would highly (and have) recommend As You Like It to anyone looking for exceptionally clean carpets and excellent service.

Excellent service. Kept me informed on progress. This was a small project but the carpet was cleaned and stretched.

Ron responded timely to call for appointment. Provided ballpark estimate based on average room size but advised a firm quote could not be given until rooms were measured. Ron and crew of one arrived 10 minutes early for appointment. Went to work immediately to provide firm price for services before proceeding. Actual price and time required to complete was in line with original estimate. Stretched and cleaned carpet in 4 large rooms and hallway in under 3 hours. Ron and crew were professional in conduct, performance and appearance.

They were phenomenal people. The guy was just one man out there and did a great job. There was a grand chest and so there was some stains there. It didn’t ever come out, and all we had to do was spray and replace the carpet because of them and seems not to be a good advantage. The kids are over 2 now and they did them a couple and they were there for a little while cleaning it. We’ve prep-up for over a year, a year and a half to layer the hallway and getting the carpet model to deal with it. No one’s ready in the neighborhood to spend money on the whole booking and carpeting. Then, you start to shop in the dark and how to get it clean. It was something else that got spilled which I thought I get it cleaned. When we can’t, we threw all of it including the stain that never came out. We got a new carpet. It was steaming water that got spilled. Tom got one of the office cleaned and Mary worked on the others and got the carpets posh cleaned that we don’t shut down our operation. They came out and moved the furniture and most of the stuffs out of the way, the break-room and everything. They removed the stains and all of it is gone now. They worked hard and were quick and self-contained. They cleaned up everything and nothing was left behind after the work was done. They were personable to talk to and I didn’t even feel uncomfortable to have them in my home. If I get into the same situation again which I hope I don’t, that is getting the carpet stained again, I’d call them. They will be coming back for one spot and their work will be done.

It was well worth the call. He came all the way accross Houston and he came when he said he would. He did a very nice job.

They phoned early and asked if they could come over a little early. They did a wonderful job. I thought their price was a little high for the furniture but I really didn't have any other upholstery cleaning done to compare. The price for the carpet was very resonable and they did a perfect job. I will definitately call them again in the future.

I received an estimate for carpet cleaning and stretching which matched the bill exactly. They were timely, professional and quick. I'd highly recommend their services.

Best installation and cleaning experience EVER! The installers did a great job-moved the pieces of furniture carefully that needed it, and the cleaning is also great. Both jobs were done quickly and well for a much better price that I expected (especially with the Angies List discount) and I plan to recommend them to all my family and friends. And when anyone in the group needs new carpet, Ron can do that too!

They were great. This is the third time we've used them. They do exactly what they say and nothing more. They don't try and upsell you anything, they don't quote you one price then charge another. They just execute and execute well. Very professional. We will used them again without a doubt.

After our pet tore up the carpet and pad in our hallway, called As You Like It and requested a quote. They gave an estimate over the phone and promptly came out to repair with extra carpet that we had in the attic. The installers were very efficient, despite speaking very little English. Would definitely use again.

I have been using them for years. They are efficient and accommodating. They really know what they're doing!

I called to schedule the cleaning of my living room carpet. The company does not clean carpets on evenings or weekends. My information was provided to a 'contractor' (another company). I was very happy with that companies services.

We called to schedule an appt with Ron Mink and he recommended we schedule a preferred work time so that, if we accepted the estimate, we would already be on the schedule. Some of the challenges of the job: 1) the foundation people had cut through the carpet to install an interior pier. Mr. Mink very carefully joined the rough cut to make a near-seamless connection; 2) the grout in the bathroom seemed to have a sealant that prevented it from being totally cleaned. Although it looked cleaner than it originally was, it still wasn't as sparkly clean as I had hoped. 3) the carpet in the utility room had some deeply embedded stains. However, after this cleaning, the stains appeared much less noticeable than in previous carpet cleanings, It is now more than 3 months following the cleaning and some of those stains in the utility room are beginning to "shadow" through. Other pre-treated stains in the bedrooms remain clean. Overall, we are satisfied with the results and would certainly recommend As You Like It Carpet Care. Ron Mink worked side-by-side with his co-worker to get the work done. They carefully moved furniture (including bed with mattress and triple size dresser) so that all areas could be cleaned and returned the furniture to their original location. They took pains to keep the carpet clean wearing shoe coverings and provided us with the same so that we could walk on the carpet while it dried. They even spot cleaned an area in one of the bedrooms that was not included in the cleaning plan.

My Mothers room was a sick room that needed some real deep down cleaning. Ron knew what he was doing and I was very pleased.

Excellent, very good results. Will repeat regularly.

I think I got a reasonable price and the company is very honest. I'm looking forward to seeing how the work turns out!

They were nice to deal with. The restretching was not a big deal for them and the carpet looks great. I didn't compare prices with anyone because I was impressed with them. I know they are more expensive than other providers I have used. The quality was good, but they weren't really able to clean the stairs and in the corners, but I'm not sure anyone could. They were very responsive and they were early when they arrived at my home. They did contact me to get permission to come earlier. I will use this company again in the future.

This work was done at my mom's house. The technician showed up on time or maybe a few minutes early. He was very professional with a pleasant customer service personality. He explained what he was going to do, confirmed the price I was quoted, told the approximate time it would take and proceeeded with the work.Afterwards he explained how long it would take to dry and other things I needed to know. He did a great job. I was very comforatable with the person that was sent to perform the work. The owner touched base with me via phone on the day of service. The owner was also very professional. This was a good experience. I will definitely use this company in the future and recommend to friends.

They were prompt and the price was reasonable. They let me know what was going to be able to come out and what wasn't.

Owner Ron and helper Ewve arrived at the house 25 minutes early which was fine. Ron reviewed the entire job with me as we walked through the house to confirm everything we wanted done. Ripples in the carpeting upstairs was particularly bad so Ron had Ewve work on that while he did the tile work in the kitchen. Ripples were at odd angles in the carpet but Ewve was successful in eliminating all of them. Carpet cleaning was done after all stretching was completed and everything looks really good. Overall job took 5 hours and price was about $100 lower than alternate bid.

Gave an estimate and booked a time, then called a day or two later to offer earlier service due to a cancellation. Arrived on time, did a fine job, cost was per estimate.
