Aries Fence Co

Weeks ago my fence, which they installed, had rotted posts which caused the fence to lean. I propped up the fence and called aries and left a voicemail. No response. Last week the fence was leaning again. Propped it up again and called .. No response. This morning the fence completely broke crushing my palm tree, a bird feeder and some other items. Tried to call them and I couldn't even leave a voicemail. If you're on vacation or out of business tell people. If you're not call people back. Thank goodness the only living thing crushed was my tree and not my dog.

Ok, workmen never came to door. Just did the work and left. Never had me check work before they left. In fact, didn't even know when they left.

I was previously an Aries Fence Co. customer, having replaced a chain link fence in 2007. They did a great job at that time. My double gates were in good condition and not replaced at that time. They finally wore out about 9 years later. I contacted Aries Fence and their representative came by the next day and gave me a fair quote for the gates. They were installed the very next week, and they did a really great job. I'm very happy with the gates and their work quality. My fence also survived Hurricane Ike in 2008 with hardly a scratch, while my neighbors wooden fences were a mess. I have enjoyed having a chain link fence, even though they are unusual for a residential area.

It was fabulous. They were great and wonderful. They did the job for two days. They took care of the dogs on our next door; they weren't ruining the neighbourhood.

Fence was not build to area standards. Rot bars were not the correct length. They're warping now because they don't start and end on the posts.

After contacting a number of A+ rated fence companies here on Angies List, who would not come out and quot;for less than $1000.00,and quot; Aries responded. The caveat was they couldn't make it for about 3 weeks. A gentleman showed up the following day (with no notice) and gave me an estimate, but did indicate they couldn't do the work for approximately 3 weeks unless they had a cancelation. They came today and did a fabulous job fixing the latch on my gate! They're so busy because they not only do the big jobs, but the 'little jobs' like latches, etc. They showed up when they said they would today and the job was beautiful.

Nothing done.....never returned call.

Salesman came out within a couple of days of calling and gave me an estimate. I called another company who was 400 more, so I called them back and he came and got 1/2 up front and said the installers would be out in 1 week. Sure enough, raining and getting colder, they showed up in the am and finished the job by 2pm. Did good work. I have no complaints. Would use them again if needed.

I called on a Sunday when they were closed leaving a voice message and received a return call the next morning. They went out the same day and provided me with an est. Jim met me at the property and collected all of the details. During the build they called to get some additional details as to the placement of the wood. The job took around 3 and a 1/2 days to complete which was what I was told before they started. The fence looks great.

Even though he never got the job, I was so impressed with his thoroughness in drawing up the estimate and his attitude in general, I would be remiss if I didn't give him the excellent review he deserves.

The fence is wonderful, excellent work. Had to trim some trees in fence line. Hauled off all the old fence and all the brush and tree limbs that were trimmed. We were so surprised and excited to see the work completed so quickly. Now our 2 little Pugs will be safe in their new back yard!!! We highly recommend Aries Fence and will use them again the replace our side fences in the future.

A gentleman ( I don't remember his name) came out on 3/21/13 and gave me an estimate on removing and replacing my cedar gate. They said it was such a small job, that they would be better off not scheduling it. They said they would just come out in the next few days when one of their crews finished another job early. I had not heard from them by 3/28 so I called them and left a message. The next day they came out about 2 p.m. and were done by 4 p.m. The workers were very courteous and professional. The job they did was beautiful. The cedar they used was a much better quality that the main part of the fence that is around the other side of the house that was done previously by another company 6 years ago. The latch that they used I have never seen before. It is a much better quality than any I have ever seen . It has it's own locking mechanism built in, but it can also can be supplemented with your own padlock on either side. Really nice! Their quality of materials and workmanship was the best I have encountered.

I called for an estimate and they met me that afternoon. They prepared the estimate and I signed up at that time. Provided a 2 week estimate, but it turned into 2.5 weeks due to weather. Cleanup was good. I didnt shop around due to good reviews previously and prompt response.

They came out and did the work in two days as they promised and the fence is beautiful. They are a family operated business and are kind of hands on, and have been in business for a long time. The owner came out with his two sons and four workers to do the job.

I called in the morning and Jim was out before 1 PM to give an estimate. He estimated that it would be about 10 days before they would be able to complete the work, but would try to come sooner if they had time. They arrived two days later and completed the work. The quality of their communication, responsivness and workmanship was excellent. If I ever need more repairs on the fence, I will call them. This was a great experience.

After several weeks of rain and I do mean rain, we had a couple of dry days. They came out on wednesday morning and got to work. They removed the old fence and post and replaced the post in one day. They left the old fence on one of my neighbors side because of the dogs. Thursday morning came and they finished putting on the material to the new post. They were gone by 2. They yard was picked up and all of the vines and limbs were removed. This was by far the easiest home repair that I have very had.

I have a wrought iron fence that currently encompasses half of my yard. I needed Aries Fencing to come out and expand my fence to encompass the entire yard. Since the fence was being expanded, there were sections of the fence that needed to be fabricated, so Aries Fencing did that work. I quoted this work with several contractors (some from Angie's list and some found outside Angie's list) and Aries Fencing came in at the best price. I was able to work with them to adjust the price to my needs and we agreed on a time period for the fencing to be completed. I mainly talked with Jim throughout the process and he was always very informative and he definitely knew what he was talking about. His son and grandson came out to do the installation a few weeks later and now I can't even tell which sections were original and which ones are new.

From start to finish, these people called prior to arriving on-site, showed up on time, performed the work they said they would when they said they would in a professional manner at a competitive price. These people know what they are doing and do it very well. This was a very pleasant experience. I will certainly use them for all of my fencing needs in the future.

They were responsive to our wishes and we were very pleased with the result. Aries Fence gives a 1 year warranty and came out promptly after to readjust the hardware on one of the gates during the first year. It is a pleasure to do business with a small family-run business that does quality work and gives personalized service - highly preferable to our previous experiences with the large fence companies

I have used Aries Fence Co in the past and they have done much better work. This Job was 38 Feet of new cedar fence with 3 rails, galvanized post and 1 walk gate (no tear out of old fence). They completed the entire job in less than 8 hours. The post were set and wood attached while the concrete had not set, which resulted in loosely set post because of windy conditions.

I called Aries on a Friday morning and left a message about having an iron, electric driveway gate installed along with some wooden fencing. Got a return phone call a couple hours later. Larry met me out at the house the next morning (Saturday), on time, quickly took measurements and gave me a written estimate on the spot. The price was not blow-my-socks-off amazing, but very fair and reasonable. We were under a time crunch to get our gate put in before we moved in to our new house and the guys at Aries took that very seriously. I signed the contract and made my down payment the following Thursday and they had the project completed exactly one week later. They did a great job at a fair price and were exceptionally quick and responsive. I would definitely recommend them and/or use them again.

Jim was responsive and prompt on setting up to meet to give me a bid. He was very professional and provided me a copy of the bid on the spot. They were able to begin the work within one week and called me before arriving. The job took about two and one-half days. The first day they removed/disposed of the old fence and set the posts in concrete. On the second and third day they put up the remainder of the 8-foot tall fence (2-foot rot board, pickets and 1-foot of lattice at the top). They dug out two volunteer trees that had been trying to grow up through the previous hurricane fence. They even laid some brick under that portion of the new fence because the ground level was slightly lower than in the remainder of the fenced area. (I would have done this if they hadn't!) The house is Craftsman-style, with a "skirt." They tailored the fence and wrought iron gate to fit without leaving dead space that was unfenced. When they had concerns about garage eaves and a gate, they contacted me for specifications. They cleaned the area up and were careful of the landscaping. The resulting job is BEAUTIFUL and exactly what I wanted. I would definitely use them again.

It went very well. They even worked in the rain to complete the fence.

Very well, I checked several folks before going with Aries and wanted someone with history here in town and knew would be here later down the road. The job done was very good.

I had contacted Aries earlier in the summer and they provided a ballpark estimate based on my description. The other company I contacted (from Angie's) needed to come out and see the existing fence. I needed to construct a temporary fence for the dogs and remove a storage building adjacent to the fence line. During Hurricane Ike, some of the existing fence blew down. I contacted Aries the following week and they promptly sent someone out to give a written estimate. Estimate was right on with the ballpark. They estimated two weeks, but called me after two days and said they had an opening. Fence was completed in three days. The first day, they removed the old fence and set the posts for the new fence. This was a chore as this was the 3rd fence on the property and there was lots of old concrete. I liked the fact that they gave the concrete time to dry before hanging rails and fencing. They skipped day two and completed the fence on day three. My wife loves it. My only regret was that I forgot to ask for the $65 coupon discount. Fence is beautiful, square and straight everywhere.
