Architectural Fabricators did a beautiful job. Jason was very quick to respond to my emails and once the design was decided on, it only took a week to get the gates prepared for installation. They look so nice adding to the overall appearance of the house and they function and operate as they should. We really love the way they turned out and will use and or recommend them in the future!

Hired because my boss was having problems with his gate working intermittently. Problem was fixed and my boss was happy.

Purchased 150 for 300 deal to get fence done in back yard. I felt as thought the price was way to high, of course this is budget related not that they are more than others. I was told he would be here by 9am, showed up at 945am, he did call to let me know he was running late so I give credit on that. Overall I believe they do good work, just didn't think it would be as much as I was quoted. I think I will wait on the fence. I will seek a refund of the 150.00 but thanks for coming by, I know that it costs you to come out and quote a job, just a little over my budget at this time.

Jason was very responsive and professional. His team even re-painted the gate and came back to make sure it locked correctly.

They are very busy so Jason was a little had to contact. However, they showed up when they said they would. The design of the gates was exactly what I wanted. Two installers worked hard all day & finished on schedule. I rate Jason & his crew as one of the best companies I've ever dealt with. I feel I received a great product, and they were actually a couple hundred dollars under the competition. WE love our new gates!!!

Not good - called repeatedly - he never came

Our security gate went out for the second time. The first time Jason came over and repaired it and the charge was reasonable. Several weeks later it went out again and he help my husband troubleshoot and was an easy fix. The gate is still working today which is several several months later from the initial call. Thanks Jason, your the best!!!

John had been more than patient with me. We weren't sure whether we wanted to make our gate completely manual with a key lock or fix it (turns out it just needed a new battery) or add a pedestrian gate. When we lost power several weeks back we could not get into our property so we were trying to come up with alternatives should that happen again. John provided several options and discovered that there was a back up battery, which works fine now. Turns out the back up battery didn't work because the other battery was just about out. John let me email him pictures of our predicament and answered all my emails. He came up with a very simple solution to our problem and gave me great advice! I would definitely recommend this company!

(3) separate subcontractors performed the work of (1) pouring the foundations for the brick columns, (2) laying the brick and (3) installing the fence and gate. I did not see Architectural Fabricators supervise any of the work. The metal fence was to have a height of 6', but ended up 3" short. The masonry cap on the brick columns was not the color I chose. The metal fence was not attached to the end of the existing cedar fence, but runs inside of the end of the cedar fence by a couple of inches. The top of the foundations for the columns do not appear to be formed, squared up. Other than the above, the column brick matches the brick on my house. The gate operates well and appears as I expected.

Jason was very easy to work with and his team worked until dark (and by flashlight) to finish in a timely manner. One of my sprinkler heads was broken and I called Jason to let him know and he sent someone out the next day to replace it. Also, in June 2015, I was out of town and my parents were at my home. They did something to make gate not close and I text Jason and he told me how to walk them through resetting the gate. It worked! He could have charged me to come out there to look at it, but he helped me over the phone so that shows he is a good and ethical business man.

In 2006, I installed iron fencing with a swing gate. Trying to address immediate security concerns & not having a good source for reviews, I ended up using a company that did a very poor job. Over the years, I've spent a lot of money on the swing gate on issues ultimately caused by the gate post which became far from plumb. Based on the Angie's List reviews, I called Architectural Fabricators for a number of repairs. The job was conducted over two successive days: day one was the gate post, hinges, keyed lock & day two was the batteries, photoelectric eye. After the crew had removed the gate post, I could easily see the problem with the original installation - hardly any concrete had been used so the post was susceptible to movement. Architectural Fabricators reused the original gate post, but dug a deeper hole for it & used a lot of concrete for greater stability. I am very pleased with the quality of work, including the welding. I feel the price was very fair for the quality of work. The final invoice was as per the estimate with the exception of the photoelectric eye, the replacement of which would've been impossible to have known without a functional swing gate. Regarding punctuality, on day one the crew were 4 hours late without a call. Fortunately, I had planned to be at home anyway so it wasn't the inconvenience it could've been. When I provided feedback on timeliness to Jason, I did get a nice email in response. I wish I had used Architectural Fabricators in the first place; they would've saved me a lot of money & frustration. I would definitely call on them again & recommend them to others.

I called Jason at Architectural Fabricators and he was very friendly. I explained what was wrong with my gate and offered to text him pictures of the broken gate. He responded quickly and gave me an estimate the next day. We agreed on it and about 3 days later, he sent a crew out to do the repairs. I am very happy with the way it looks and even happier with my new, MUCH faster gate opener. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again. What was repaired: New post at the fence for the side gate, since the old one was rusted out at the bottom. Re-welded a broken "spindle" where my old opener had broken off. Replaced the old GTO gate opener with a new a new Liftmaster opener. Very pleased.

They built me the coolest deck that wraps around my oak tree and has built in seating. I get compliments all the time – I would highly recommend Jason and his crew to others. They do fantastic work and are a pleasure to work with.

It was tough finding a company that would install the gate/operator that I ordered from a company online. Jason and his company were not only willing, but bore with the process of learning a different type of operator. I plan to let the web company know that they should refer their customers to this installation company. End product was very good. The price was very competitive, especially with the angie's list coupon. Jason was very professional. Daniel was conscientious and very good and followed up, spending a lot of extra time to get the operator to work properly and reinstall the gate. Would have helped a bit to have a bit better communication as the guys at the site did not speak English. There was one issue with the gate was not correctly positioned. Once, I brought this to Jason's attention, they spent a lot of effort/time to make sure it was corrected promptly.

My LiftMaster Gate stopped opening and closing. Jason Richardson (Architectural Fabricators) came out to troubleshoot the issue (no charge to assess the issue). After stepping through a thorough check of the the controller electronics, determined that the issue was mechanical and that the gate arm was jammed and fixed it. I asked if he could install an external remote that was code operated so I could use it when working in the yard to easily open and close the gate. He installed it and set the PIN code. Excellent service, responsiveness and explanation.

We wanted a driveway gate but weren't sure what we wanted it to look like. Jason stopped by and them immediately e-mailed us with ideas and a quote. We moved forward and the work was done pretty quickly. His team was able to overcome several snags in the process and we are thrilled with our new gate. It looks great and it's QUIET. I don't think I could be happier.

Jason (owner) responded to my phone call promptly and showed up at my house on exactly the day and time he indicated. I was ready to replace the entire fence and gate, but he explained to me that the panels (individual rods) are still in good shape enough and he only recommended to replace the old metal posts that have rusted through and to remove/replace the rusted pieces and repaint the fence and gate. The other contractor proposed to replace the entire fence at significantly higher cost. His proposal came in the evening and if I accept his bid, he said his people can start the work the very next day. His people came the next morning and finished the work in two days.

It went very well, they showed up on time and did not leave until it was all cleaned up. The repair job went Very well, they rewelded the post and painted the complete gate. It is as if a have a brand new gate and it is MUCH better than the previous. It has been operating perfectly for the last 6 months. The team that did the installation was polite and professional, I recommend this vendor and would use it again. The Price was exactly we agreed.

Due to the slow response times and miscommunications, we opted to not move forward with the job.

My electric driveway gate was and had been giving me problems. Opening or closing partway, stopping and the annoying alarm would go off. Called Jason on a Monday late afternoon. He sent someone out within 30 minutes to take a look. The person could not figure out what the problem was. Because of course the gate worked while he was here. I was thankful he did not just leave and kept investigating. He figured out the wires were getting worn from rubbing between the opening and closing gate and the fence. The problem would happen mostly in the morning when moisture had collected but would dry out as the day went on and sometimes would then work. He also noticed the gate was a bit loose and needed some welding. He didn't have the materials to fix the problem that night but came back the next day and had it fixed in about 30 minutes. I have had other companies out to take a look along with countless attempts to fix the problem by my husband. These guys were the first to fix it right. So happy!

I contacted him on 9/17 and he just now got back with me. I had to contact him a couple time before getting a response. The quote he gave me was twice the amount of what other people were giving me.

They were not very responsive. It took them a long time to get back to us and we've never been able to get anything from them. We sent him some pictures and it took him about three weeks and when he came back to us it was not really what we wanted.

Very responsive during quote process and installation. Provided good suggestion for design. Owner took the time to meet with me when some competitors did not. There was not much difference in price with most other quotes I received but the extra service made a difference for me.

They were very professional. They did what I asked them to do. I've talked to them on the phone.

1. I prepared a letter with pictures describing what work needed to be done and email it to Architectural Fabricators through their contact link on their web site. After a week or more, I called and spoke with Jason who provided me his office email for me to resent the information. Two weeks later I received a well written and clear proposal for the work. I signed off on the proposal and provided the 50% deposit required and mail all back to the Architectural Fabricators. 2. About a month later the crew came out and did the job. I had to call a couple of times to find out when the work was scheduled. I prepared the work site for them by removing all the landscape (edging stones and gravel) and locating and marking the location of the irrigation piping and control wires that run under the area the new fence was to be installed. 3. I was pleased with the work that was done and very grateful that they were willing to do this small job. They even put some of the landscape back. 4. Most of my issues (which are really minor) with them were the poor communications which I believe was unintentional and was caused I think by their increased workload. They were always apologetic. In repair of the main entrance gate they only installed two of the three hinges. But I know that two are sufficient and it makes the gate easier to open. Also their proposal stated that the new fence and gate would come with a keyed lock, which it didn?t. Again the new gate is fine with a latch for padlock. All these changes should have been indicated either before the work or during and not discovered by the owner after the work. Still I would use them again.
