Project went very well. John and his team had a very tight deadline to get the outdoor kitchen installed due to a party I had planned. The team went above and beyond to get everything completed. There was a pricing difference from the original estimate due to a materials change.

We did an extensive remodel on our kitchen and bath. John Klink was professional and provided positive communication regularly. His team of employees were exceptional and talented problem solvers. Our job was completed on time and within budget. I highly recommend Arborwood Construction and plan on using them again.

It went off pretty well. Great job on the finishes.

I didn’t really like or dislike anything about them. They gave me the estimate and gave it to me in a fairly reasonable amount of time. They came out and looked in a fairly reasonably amount of time. Their estimate was not extremely detailed, that is the only reason I’m saying a “B”. My interaction with them was fine. They could be more detailed on the estimate.

Owner, John Klink, came to estimate our project and we liked his logical approach from the get go. He began with the utilities (gas, electric, water lines) that we would need relocated and then, really listened to our ideas and seemed to share our visions for a total kitchen, dining room, living room, entry remodel with white cabinets, quartz countertops, Carrera marble backsplash, library bookshelves with a rolling ladder access, crisp wide window casing trim, traditional wall panels... We have been VERY happy with his workers, and their attention to detail and quality workmanship. They also kept the area clean since we were living within the remodel. John has addressed all glitches that have arisen and coordinated working with other subcontractors (such as outside cabinet installers). We know that we are not his only clients, but John has been so responsive to our issues and ideas that we feel that we are special. We would be happy to show our project and John's work to anyone considering hiring Arborwood Construction. We will be using Arborwood again for our master bath/bedroom project in the future.

The work took longer than we expected as the granite company was behind at their company. They had an entire crew out and was behind in all their installs. Also had a carpenter who broke his ankle which caused delays. Once the granite was installed, things went very quickly. It was frustrating being without a kitchen for two months, but it is gorgeous now. I did have some pull- out shelves in all my lower cabinets that were removed for this job. Unfortunately, they were scattered between my garage and my dining room. I could only ascertain where four of them were to be reinstalled. As luck would have it, these shelves were not able to be reinstalled as they no longer fit. John Klink (owner) is dropping by tomorrow or this weekend to see what can be done to replace them. I had some new cabinets made and will have to get new pull-out shelves. The workers did put up plastic sheeting which kept most of the mess contained. The workers are very nice and professional. His company does excellent work and I have hired them to finish my master bathroom!

Once the work was started things went quickly. The workers cleaned up after each day. The only drawback was one group did not close the bathroom doors or put up plastic sheeting as they were removing the old tile floor, and it made dust go all into my master bedroom! They tried to clean it up, but it left a mess under my bed and on the pictures on the wall. The only stall in the job was in the final stage when the rain glass was measured and ordered. The glass arrived broken and had to be reordered! No fault of Arborwood, though. I did not have my master bathtub or surround redone as I want to have my kitchen remodeled first. I was so impressed with the quality and workmanship of his workers, I hired them to remodel my kitchen.

It went really well. They attic door looks great and is fully functional now.

Did not use this provider. He was to give us a proposal for deck remodeling and some other add ons. We did not get the full proposal.

I called the provider on Dec. 13th. I spoke to John about performing some work at my rent house in Houston. I explained my remodel project to him and he sounded interested. We made an appointment to meet at my rent on Tuesday Dec. 17th at 10:30 am. I followed up with an email to him providing my contact information, address to the house and to confirm our appointment. I drove for over an hour to get to my rent house. At approximately 10:55 am Tuesday the 17th I called the provider (John) and he answered. He said "let me get back to my truck and I'll call you right back". So I waited and waited and no return call. After waiting for approximately an hour I left since it was apparent he was not going to call me back. At about 4:00 pm that afternoon I called him again this time getting his voicemail. Later that evening he did send me an email requesting to reschedule our appointment. I emailed him back explaining my concern and frustration with his lack of professionalism, respect. and organization. This is not the type of company or person I want handling my 30K remodel project. I have since hired a very good contractor and the work is almost complete. Well done Arborwood Construction!!

I called and spoke with him, he was recommended by Angie’s List, and he was in the publication. We made arrangements; and I put it on my calendar. I called him yesterday to verify the appointment but he never showed and never called to apologize or say he wouldn’t be coming.

Right after the job was done, I called John. The paint job was awful. His guy had not properly sanded the wood. There were drips everywhere. Some places needed more paint, and there was an oily residue in other places. John got a guy out and fixed it up. Well then about 6 months later we noticed problems. There was mildew in various spots around the entry. Plus the wood was pulling apart at the seams. I called and emailed John. He sent his guy to caulk it. Paint was not fixed. Within a month, it was again coming apart. Called him to fix it. He never called me back or returned my emails or calls. Looks terrible!!! Would not use again. Glad we found out about his workmanship on this job and not the big job we had with a remodel in the house a few months later. Liked his personality, but workmanship didn't cut it, or his response to correcting it.

Very well, John as professional, offered sage advice, was very familiar with all requested work, and committed to getting a finished product that was what we wanted and of high quality. The schedule slipped a week versus the original estimate, but I believe that was due to the granite shop schedule, which is somewhat out of John's control.

John was able to install a new water heater in my attic and fix all the damages that had occurred when my upstairs bathroom flooded and went through the ceiling in my living room downstairs. John was very smart and I felt very comfortable trusting him and I feel like I have saved so much money. He is a great guy and hard worker - I am using him for future work on my home.

I used Arborwood Construction for some remodeling on a condo I purchased last fall. Painting – with a few minor repairs – was all I could afford at the time: a big deal to me, but a small job for Arborwood. However, there was nothing ‘small’ about the effort and results! I am so very happy – this condo now feels like my home. John Klink provided a ‘spot on’ estimate and an equally accurate timeline. He was very responsive to my questions throughout the process.. My next project will be remodeling the kitchen . . .and when the time comes, Arborwood Construction will get the call!

Called for an estimate on a job. 8 days later he called me back saying he "had just found my note on his desk". Not a good indicator of professionalism. I used someone else and was very satisfied.

Arborwood experience was positive even thogh they did not get the contract.

It was okay. The process was fine but I thought the estimate was a little high so I haven't done anything with it. He came and looked at it and then emailed me the estimate. It did take him a long time to get back to me.

We moved into a new house this summer that needed a kitchen and bathroom renovation, as well as wall knock down. After obtaining two quotes from Arborwood and one other company, we decided to go with Arborwood. The pricing was competitive and John's was professional and thorough when he came out twice to look through our house for a quote. Everyone he had working for him was professional, everything was especially easy since my husband and I both work. All the work was completed under a tight timeline and the team was able to get almost everything done on time. The only negative feedback is that John, the owner, is usually only available on his cell phone and at times we had to ask questions/request certain things multiple times before he would remember. If it was not urgent, it usually worked to just email as he is usually working in his office in the evenings. Overall, we were very happy with the quality and experience with Arborwood construction and would use them again.
