Arbor Care's work was a disaster. I had a major tree in my yard that provides a green barrier to the perimeter of my property. There was a wisteria that was climbing into the tree, that I needed removed. I had met w Arbor Care's project manager, Jesse, in advance, and I explained to him that the tree was a major feature to our property. I needed the wisteria vines pulled out of the tree. I told Jesse 5 times on 2 occasions that I did not want any limbs cut, I only wanted the vines removed. He told me repeatedly that he understood, and he could accomplish the job w/o cutting branches. He said that only the vines would be pulled out of the trees. (If he had said that he could not pull the wisteria out, that he would have to cut the branches, I would never had hired Arbor Care.) On that day of the service, Jesse arrived with a crew. I went over with Jesse again that I did not want any limbs cut. He acknowledged the assignment. I watched them pull the heavy vines out of the trees for a while and then I left. When I came back 2 hours later, I saw that they had cut 8 to 10 major branches from the tree. They essentially amputated about 20% of the tree. This tree is especially important to our landscaping. I was shocked. I had told Jesse several times on different occasions that we did not want any branches cut. He could not explain why they were cut. I wrote the owner a letter, but he never replied. I would not recommend this company. I look at the tree everyday, and wish that I had never contacted them. They were told not to cut branches, they assured me no branches would be cut, and then they amputated about 20% of the branches. They had no explanation for their actions and never replied to my letter.

I had a Master Gardener come to my home to inspect the work I wanted done. I received an itemized detailed billing prior to arranging services. This was followed by two separate appointments with professionals who were experts in what they do. First, my 5 huge crepe myrtle trees were trimmed.They had gotten too tall for me to continue doing this myself. I received a call scheduling the appointment and a call the day they were coming to reconfirm. They trimmed the trees professionally and cleaned the debris and hauled it off. The second appointment went much like the first with a professional treatment expert injecting antibiotics into my Bradford pear trees which had contacted Fire Blight. I was impressed that all of their employees are full-time and expertly trained. No seasonal help for this group.

Arbor care did an excellent job trimming, and disposing of all the drop offs and yard clean up.

Work was very professional, crews extremely polite and cooperative. They cleaned up after the tree trimmings exceptionally well, so much so that you would never know they had been there except for the tree trimming. Stump grinder came about a week later and did an excellent job grinding the two stumps and cleaning up. Craig Graham came out before the trimming to survey the work, decide what should be done, and provide an estimate. This is the second year in a row I have used their services and will continue to do so. They are definitely the tree experts.

They trimmed two oak trees. They installed a cable tying two limbs together so they won't split away from the main trunk in a hurricane. I have used them in he past and they cleaned up all limbs, etc. They do what they say, on time and at the agreed price. Really like these people.

They came in on Friday and removed the 3 old trees and trimmed the 4 Crepe Myrtles. They did a fantastic job and finished in <2 hours. Cleaned up all the mess and they mulched the trimmings, so there was no waste of the material. They came back later the next week to grind the stumps, which they also did a great job.

We live in an incorporated city so only companies that meet the insurance requirements can remove trees. I initially contacted 4 companies. Craig Graham was very prompt with his quote and answered all questions. The quote was $1,500-$2,500 lower than their competitors. They did an excellent job and cleaned up everything so thoroughly that you could not tell that two huge trees were removed!

Our visit with him was very educational. Definitely would recommend Arbor Care.

Mike was professional, courteous, and punctual. The work was done in two stages--first, the tree removal and pruning, then a couple days later the stump grinding by a different team. All work was done correctly, and the teams cleaned up after themselves very well.

I have used Arbor Care services twice and am about to again. They trimmed 3 large oaks a few weeks before Hurricane Ike - I had very little clean up and no damage. Last year they re-trimmed the same trees and more shrubbery. I have called them recently and will have them remove and clean up more shrubbery. I recommend them without hesitation.

I had appoximatly 13 trees that were that had bugs. The price to treat the trees were between $450 & $750 a tree without a guarantee they would survive. I did not choose to have this company treat the trees, I treated the trees with chemicals from a nursery 10 are doing well.

I was very pleased. They told me they would provide a free estimate and they did. They came out; looked at my tree and told me what the problem might be and did not try to sell me on anything. This made me feel very comfortable. Very nice, professional and extremely helpful. I would recommend to anyone.

Service is prompt and prices fair and he does good work. He's a really nice guy, too! He even teaches me something about my trees each time!

I like their responsiveness. They responded quickly and they probably went a little bit above & beyond their normal skill. Something showed that they weren't counting on and had to get a crane out. There was no extra charge for that to remove a tree that was diseased. These guys were great.

Apparently, many people in this area believe that Arbor Care is a great company to deal with because it took approximately three weeks for them to get to my trees. There was also a four day delay because some of the limbs of one of my trees was touching some power lines and Arbor Care does not want their employees working that closely to the lines. They requested that I call the power company and have them trim the trees away from the lines before they (Arbor Care) worked on the tree. Once they arrived, they cleaned up all four trees and left no mess in the yard. This is the fourth time that I've used Arborcare and every time, their service has been excellent but as I stated above, they seem to be so in demand that it takes a while for them to get to your job after you agree to the price. But dealing with Arbor Care has always been a positive experience.

Wonderful service. Trimmed and pruned exactly as instructed. Priced very reasonably considering the amount of work done. We will definitely use Arbor Care again.

Arbor Care Inc. I used them in June of 2008. He came out an diagnosed everything on my trees and explained what chemicals needed to be utilized etcetera. This man was very, very good and he knew his stuff. John Keal. Unfortunately the price that he gave us was very high and not something that we could afford. So we utilized what he told us and went and got the chemicals and did a similar protocol to what he was saying. Obviously we didn't do it as well as he would have done it. It was able to resolve the problem. I did want to give him a good grade because the man was very knowledgable. He was going to come and do three treatments and it was going to be $501.03 to come out and treat the trees three times. The man was very, very knowledgable about the structures and their diseases, etcetera. He knew what to do. I would definately recommend him.

Great from start to finish, maybe 2 hrs? Very happy.

I called Arborcare for a second opinion and decided to use their service. We have a silver maple in front yard that is about 30 years old. The top of the tree had quite a few dead limbs/branches that needed to be removed for safety resons and possibly to save the tree. Found out the tree has actually surpassed life expectancy in Houston. JT was very professional and helpful during the consultation. We had two options: 1) remove the tree and grind stump; or 2) top the tree and fertilize hoping to get a few more years out of the tree. We decided on option 2. JT was on time for the consult and very professional. The workers were on time for the trim which lasted about one hour. They cleaned up, took everything with them - very professional and polite. We were not home for the fertilization which was done on a different day, but they left a note card on the door saying they stopped by with the name of the person who did the work.

Arbor Care did a good job. There was a little miscommunication issue around setting up the appointment date, but we got it sorted out and they showed up when they said they would. The guys did a good job. We had two old oak trees trimmed and they cleaned up all the debris and left the yard clean. We will use them again.

Abor Tree service, arrived on time and spent several hours trimming and prunning 3 trees. They had to go onto my roof to trim branches from that area, they were careful to avoid sky lights that they had to work around. The workers were careful and courtious. They did a great job and left my yard clean of any branches or leaves. They also swept my driveway. I will use them again for any tree care in the future, I will also recommend to my friends

I had two large oak trees in my yard, one of which had grown very close to my house and was threatening the foundation. Both showed signs of stress from Ike and the drought, but both were quite old. The larger of the two was probably at least 50-60 years old. The arborist who came to look at them pointed out some problems I had not noticed and concluded that both trees were dying, unstable, and a threat to the house, and that they both needed to come down. Arborcare did what they said they would do, within the time frame we had agreed upon, and billed me for one penny more than the estimate (a rounding error). I'm very pleased, and I would definitely recommend them, or use them again.

We were really pleased with their service. They were very professional.

After we closed on the house, we attempted to have them come back out to perform the recommended service. We made numerous phone calls to both the office and the cell phone of the arborist assigned to our area. The office would refer us to the arborist cell phone or take a message to have him call. At one point we were told he was out sick and we would need to call back after he returned to work. When we asked if there was someone else that could help us we were told no, we would need to deal with the assigned arborist. When he finally answered our call on his cell phone, he initially said he did not know what we were talking about but later in the conversation remembered the service call. We asked him to schedule the work but were told that he could not do that until we signed the work order. He said he would drop it in our mailbox later that day. We never saw a work order and they never came to do the work. We have since contacted another company and had the service completed.

They were here when they said they would be. They did what they were supposed to. In fact, they did a little extra for me. They cut down an extra tree that they had not recognized as being damaged when they gave me my initial estimate. It was a big one too right over my house. They've done really good.
