Description of Work: They installed a water softener and ran a line to the ditch in front of our home. They were very responsive. It was just installed, but seems to be working well. I'm assuming the "a" response is the best response and "f" is the worst, but it would help if you define this on your response form.

Description of Work: Richard with Aqua Systems of Houston came to the house, tested the water coming into the house, quoted a system based upon the test, and was able to install the system the next day. The installation took approximately 2.5 hours and everything is working as advertised. Great water conditioner and filter, and great service!

Description of Work: Checked water for softness and chlorine content. Added 3 or 4 bags of salt. Checked and reset clock and auto regeneration system. In and out in 20 minutes.

Description of Work: After researching water softners on the Internet and reading the reviews on Angie's List of the various water softner companies, I decided to contact Aqua Systems of Houston. My decision for selecting this company was based on the reviews I read. All of the reviews I read contained positive comments about the company without the mention of any negative remarks. I have never read reviews for a company that were all positive and included comments that each reviewer would highly recommend the company. I contacted Richard De Young, President of Aqua Systems of Houston, to make an appointment for him to come to my house. He immediately emailed me information on the various water softner systems offered by the company including the price for each system along with useful information on researching water softners in general. Richard arrived on time, tested our water, explained the differences between his company's products and those of his competitors, recommeded which system would be best for me (by the way it was the least expensive one), explained the warranty -- 7 years on all parts & lifetime on the mineral & brine tanks and patiently answered all of the many questions I had. He didn't try to pressure me into making a decision that day. (My personal opinion is that if a company is pressuing you to make a decision that day it is best to say no thank you and look elsewhere.) In fact, he told me to take a few days to think about it, research other companies' products and contact him if I decided to go with his proposal. I felt like a bond had developed between us and instantly knew that I wanted his company to install my water softner. I contacted him the very next day to begin the process. | |Aqua Systems of Houston installed a SmartChoice GEN 11 100VTCC City Whole Home Water Softner and Filtration System including a high catalytic carbon filtration tank. | |The team showed up on time and the installation was completed on time. I was extremely happy with the installation process and the professionalism exhibited by each team member. After completing the installation the team explained in detail the operation of the system and answered all of the questions I had. Additionally, they explained the no contract 6 months low cost maintenance program they offered for $99.00 that included testing the system for hardnes & chlorine levels, adding salt, inspecting the valves, settings, fittings and connections and cleaning the brine tank, brine well & pick-up valve. Considering that the salt alone would cost $45.00, plus my time to perform the maintenance required I though this was too good a deal to pass up. Plus, if they do the maintenance work it extends the labor warranty to lifetime. At this point, I understood why the ratings on Angie's list were high for each category. | |I have now had my water softner system for over 4 months & couldn't be happier. The only maintenance I have done is to add a couple of bags of salt due to high water usage. In a previous home that I owned I had a water softner installed that cost substantially more and the maintenance costs were much higher than my current system. Also, my current system is more efficient, uses less energy and does a better of filtering the water. I would highly recommend Aqua Systems of Houston to anyone thinking about installing a water softner. You will be extremely happy with the system and the professional of the staff. In today's world it is hard to find a company that you can trust and feel comfortable that you are getting an excellent product at a fair price. Description of Work: He was on vacation with his family and took my call to help me with my problems! He even took the time to send me the information I needed when he was on vacation and even contacted me when he got back home. We had another expense come up so we couldn’t use him, but we will definitely call him in the future if we end up going ahead with the project. I was very impressed.
