About us

Apex Sprinkler and Irrigation is a licensed and insured full service irrigation company serving the Houston area. There is one full time employee year round, other full and part time employees as season requires. We do use subcontractors with different skill sets such as, but not limited to: trenching, landscaping, brickwork, higher voltage electrics. Apex Sprinkler is licensed by the state of Texas, LI 9436. Current labor rates are $75.00 per hour for technician. There is no charge for system installation estimates. Charges for system evaluation and troubleshooting will be priced at technician rate of $75.00 per hour. Their is no trip charge if you mention Angie's list. Owner is licensed irrigator with ten years experience in sprinkler industry with advanced troubleshooting experience. Truck will arrive with equipment and supplies to do 90+% of repairs.

everything went perfectly
Description of Work: had to replace sprinkler head damaged by city workers' repaving street with new curbs. did what he said he would do, checked the system, made appropriate adjustments, some new parts, gave good information and advice, engaged & professional.

I was very overworked at the time and in hindsight should not have bid this job. I frequently come straight from service calls, late in heavy traffic, and dirty; hardly what one would expect from a sales call. The layout of the property was challenging and required a lot of spray heads to meet state code. The property could be adequately if not efficiently watered with a sub standard system at a much lower cost but that is not the quality of work I do. I will try to be more presentable on sales calls and not spread myself too thin in the future.

One man, one truck, one phone, one drought. I am overwhelmed. My apologies. 25-40 phone calls a day. Have to take care of current customers first. I am very good at what I do, Angie's list has inundated me. Can do about 3-5 service calls per day. Will not be returning many calls until we have rain. apexsprinkler@yahoo.com is my e mail address. Very good.
Description of Work: Brett came back out to our home to design and install hanging planter watering spots. He was prompt and just like our first time, he was particularly attentive. For example, he could have installed white hoses along our home for the system. Instead, he special ordered matching colors and gave us extra hoses and attachments for the future. He is the best!

Description of Work: Brad checked the pressure and coverage of my lawn pop up sprinklers. He worked very fast and by all accounts I got my $$ worth since he charges$75 per hour. The adjustment took about 1 hour plus some parts for a total of $90.
