Apache Overhead Doors

The price charged was excessive and unreasonable for the service performed. I had used this company to replace the springs on this garage door 10 years ago, and the price for that repair was reasonable, so I called them again; thinking the price would be reasonable this time also. I was told that the service call would be $59, but the person that I spoke with on the phone would not give me an estimate. When the technician arrived, I was told that the price would be $420 to replace the springs. I asked the technician if they offered any discounts (I expected one since I was a repeat customer), and was told that none were available. Since, the technician was on location, a $59 service call had been incurred and I was pressed for time; I OK'ed the repair. Ultimately, there were no complications with the spring replacements, and the total time for the replacement was less than 30 minutes. I am totally dissatisfied with this experience. I had a new motor installed in October 2013 for my garage door. Few days ago it would not close. I called for service and was told to try and fix it myself. I tried and was not successful. I called 11/6/2013 to get someone out to fix the door. Thinking that this was covered by warranty since the motor was less than a month and a half old and should have been no cost to the homeowner. After repair man came, spent less than 5 minutes to make the adjustment. Was told I had to pay for a service call. The service call should have been complimentary. Was charge $60.00 for less than 5 minutes worth of work. Will find another company..
