Amish Cabinets of Texas

I had previously submitted a complaint about Amish Cabinets of TX, Daniel Kelly and I would like to issue an update. Daniel reaches out to me to apologize for our mishap and he asked me to give him a chance to finish the job. I gladly forgave him and allowed Daniel and his team to finish the job. Daniel came out personally and made sure the job was properly completed and that I was totally satisfied. I spent over $300K with this company and am glad to say they came through with the corrections and made things right. Daniel is a stand up man and is a former Marine and does what he says he will do. It is not easy to say I am sorry and he is a stand up man and came through with perfection. If you have an issue Daniel Kelly will make it right. Semper Fi to a fellow Marine!! Thank you Daniel

We have done many home major renovations projects over 40 + years of marriage and 7 homes. As my husband is a woodworker and extremely handy around the house, we have always been able to select craftsmen that would give us the finished product that we had in mind. None of that prepared us for what we encountered with a post Harvey flood rebuild. The sheer number of homes affected made it difficult to find people, get the work done in a timely fashion, and most importantly have a quality outcome. The one exception was working with Daniel Kelly at Amish Cabinets. From the first moment we contacted him, it was the best experience we have had in a major renovation project. He helped us design our kitchen cabinetry, including little details for me the cook, and for the woodworker, my husband. Each piece was custom, the woodwork details and finish were beyond our wildest dreams. His installion team was clean, courteous, and skilled. We felt that our pricing was on par of what would be spent for prefab with some one else, but the quality was outstanding. As we knew this is what had always wanted in our kitchen, we called very quickly after the flooding to work with Amish Cabinets of Texas. The delivery was exactly as promised along with installation. We don’t often times rates a company as excellent, we do not hesitate giving Daniel and Amish Cabinets of Texas our highest recommendation.

Amish Cabinets came to my house to house to size and quote personally. When the cabinets came in they completed the installation within half a day. The cabinet quality and range of choices in stains, paints, trim style, wood types, and accessories is far better than any big box and at a price that is considerable less.

Daniel brought the laptop, went over all the pricing options and I got exactly what I wanted. The cabinets are so well made and beautiful too. Wish I knew about them back when I did our master bath!

This is my second job to have Amish Cabinets of Texas do for me. The remodel of my kitchen went so well I used them again. As same with the first time, Daniel and his group were prompt, courteous and professional. They can pretty much make anything you want them to. Throw your ideas to them and they will make it happen. I even have a little drawer in the kick space that I use to store my bathroom scale so it is out of sight. I will use them again when I decide to build out my laundry room!

Daniel Kelly is the owner of this company; he wants the client to be satisfied, and pays close attention to details, making sure things are right. The cabinets are solid wood and of the highest quality and turned out wonderful. The cost was comparable to ready made cabinets, yet these are totally custom made to your specs. We are very happy with our new cabinets and recommend this company highly.

Daniel was punctual, pleasant and professional. He came prepared with his laptop and was able to not only provide an estimate on the spot, but show us a virtual image of the finished product. In this case we opted to go with a less expensive cabinet maker based on our budget. We have a small (1975) u-shaped kitchen and wanted to update it. While I don't doubt the quality of Amish cabinets, it was more than we could afford. If your looking for the best quality out there and you have the budget this is probably your company.

Amish Cabinets is great! Cabinets are beautiful and fit the space perfectly. Daniel was extremely helpful in helping with the layout of the kitchen and responsive to all my questions. I would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a high end, custom cabinet.

Daniel was on time and very conscientious while working. He made everything perfect! He worked with us every step of the way and nothing was left out! We love Amish Cabinets of Texas. Prices were great!

Joe was very professional and thorough with the estimate. He offered to come by and give me an estimate and take measurements of our kitchen. There was no pressure to buy. His cabinets were custom and would have been a great. His prices were competitive for what I was looking for but we ultimately decided to go with Home Depot because of the discounts which kept us within budget.

Came out to the house on time. He gave me lots of good ideas and took measurements. However, I would have to go into their shop on I-45 to look at cabinets and decide exactly what I wanted before they could give me any indication of price. I also got estimates from three other remodel specialists. After seeing how much a built-in would cost from the other estimates, we determined that we could buy a beautiful cabinet to fit the space for a lot less money and which we could take with us should we move at some point in the future. They were very professional and sounded very knowledgeable with some good ideas, but we decided to go a different route.

These cabinets are amazing, the quality is like nothing else I've seen. The design process was easy, we were able to see everything 3D exactly how it would look. We even had to make some changes after the final design and those were accomodated. Delivery took longer than anticipated, both due to backlog and weather. The cabinets are made by Amish people in Indiana and our truck was delayed by the terrible winter storms multiple times but there's nothing that could be done about that. The installers were meticulous and respected my home. After the install there were a few cabinets that did not work from a 'kitchen functionallity' standpoint (the cabinets were fine) and Amish Cabinets of TX worked with us to get replacements on order quickly. Our pantry was delivered larger than ordered and did not fit the space, a new one was crafted and delivered w/o any cost to us. Overall we are very happy with the cabinets, they are beautiful. They have a 50 year warranty and MDF is a bad word to these guys. We have both Maple and Walnut cabinets and they offer many more choices like birch and oak, painted or stained however the customer wants. The only negative is that it took much longer than anticipated from start to finish (4 months total but we had a functional kitchen over half of that time), and that falls on both parties due to the changes we made and the pantry correction and also the backlog of the installation people. Being too busy can sometimes be a bad thing for the customer but that goes to show how great these cabinets are, they are in high demand! I would definitely buy cabinets from Amish Cabinets of TX again.

Daniel and his team are so easy to work with. They respect my idea, but will subtly make suggestions on how to improve the layout and the look. Daniel is honest, professional and always pays attention to details. He always follows through and is forever patient to answer the gazillion questions that I have, which is very important because there are so many changes made along the way. The cabinets are of the highest quality and come with all the bells and whistles. Soft closing, full extension drawers, dove tail joint, sold wood. You name it. Their price is not the lowest, but you get the biggest bang of the buck. Most important, everything is custom made. Basically if you can draw it, they can make it. Daniel has gone totally out of his way and helped me with many things along the way so I can have the kitchen of my dream. He is a man of honesty and integrity. I can not say enough good things about him and his team. I would not hesitate to use him again when I remodel the bathroom.

When we had a flood that required extensive repairs, including replacing all of the cabinets in the kitchen and three bathrooms, we were sure that we were going to be lucky if insurance would cover even basic pressboard cabinets. But from the first meeting with Amish Cabinets we realized that we would not only be able to replace the cabinets, but that we could actually make dramatic improvements using higher quality materials and new designs than we could have expected! It would take pages to cover everything, but here is a brief summary of some of the things that Amish Cabinets did for us: Kitchen: Amish Cabinets took some basic ideas we had and improved dramatically on them with design ideas that helped us gain significant storage space and efficiency. They relocated the built-in oven, reclaiming previously unusable corner and wall space, custom designing solid bamboo cabinets with Brazilian granite counters which replaced 20+ year old pressboard cabinets. A matching hutch for glassware was also designed and built into an adjacent room. Master Bath: Starting from magazine photos we liked, Amish Cabinets designed totally custom and modern cabinets from caramelized bamboo, including solid bamboo countertops with granite vessel sinks. Amish Cabinets even designed and build custom mirrors and a new window sill using matching caramelized bamboo, resulting in an elegant master bathroom. Guest Bathrooms: Two other bathrooms and a closet storage unit were designed and built using hard maple solid wood cabinets and granite counter tops. And as with the kitchen, the designs actually increased the usable storage in each room. From the beginning, Daniel and the team from Amish Cabinets worked with us on designs and materials selection, adding ideas and improvements we would never have even thought possible, all while staying within budget. Rather than simply installing prebuilt cabinets, Amish Cabinets became a partner in creating and executing a custom vision for our home that exceeded all of our expectations. We highly recommend Daniel and the team at Amish Cabinets!
