American Glass

I hired Mustafa, who is the owner of American Glass. He seemed very nice when he came to give me the estimate. He told me I had to make a down payment of $300. I told him I didn't like doing that, since we had just built a house and I got stung several times making down payments and then never hearing back. I was extremely leery; however, Mustafa assured me that he was honest and would never do that. He set up several appointments to come and fix my window. He never showed up and always had excuses. I called him several times and he would just hang up on me. I checked with the BBB and he has an F with them and is not accredited. I took him to small claims court and won. I have never received my money back. I am not the only person to whom he has done this. I read other reviews from people who claim they paid him and he never did the work. He does not have an office and the address on his business card is only where he has his mail sent. He doesn't even have his last name on his business card. Through some research, I found his home address and that's where he was served the papers for small claims court. He never showed up at court. If he would just give me my money back, including the court costs, I would be happy. He chose to keep the money. Do not hire this person, as he cannot be trusted.

You dont get better service than these folks. They have installed windows and two houses for us and a glass shower door in a third. The owner is responsive, punctual kind and does exactly what he promises. I wish more vendors were like this.

After committing twice to install a set of tub/shower glass - initially on 6/19/2014 and once again on 6/20/2014 - Mustafa never called and never showed. I called him at the end of the business day on 6/20/2014 to see if he was on his way, to which he replied and quot;No, I'm busy...and quot;. Mustafa is a nice enough guy, but he has no respect for the time of others, and is not considerate enough to even call when he can't show. Waste of time.
