I was very impressed with Leo and Steven as salesman. They were along my age so we communicated very well and that was one of the reasons in addition to the rating I saw on Angie's list to go with them. I met with Leo (who is authorize to sale buildings for Alpine) a week prior and had a handshake on what I would receive in my building with the promise not to pay until the job was completed. Everything up to this point was going as I expected and even received a phone call from Carl (carpenter) the night before that rain was in the forecast for Tuesday so what would I like for him to do. We agreed not to work in the rain and to schedule for Wednesday build. On Wednesday morning he arrived on time, actually at the crack of dawn he was outside our home and ready to go. I was impressed with him being punctual and very friendly. However I wasn't exactly impressed with his truck which looked like it was about to fall apart or how his shirt was half in and half out but I thought this guy is in the Texas heat all day and I get it if he needs to be comfortable so i didn't blink an eye but this is important to why I'm so disappointed in what I received from Alpine. Carl was fast, fast and fast to get the job done. He arrived around 7 am and was done by 2pm that same day! WOW and good for him..... However the building looks like he was FAST, FAST and FAST in putting it up. Inside the building I have nails all over that missed their target, I had 2x4's with as many as 8 nails in one location to make sure it held and my ramp that cost and extra $100 broke at the end the very first time I walked on it. My girlfriend thought we could have designed and built a better ramp! My neighbor also pointed out the doors which open hit the shingles thus I have to make sure I design something to protect them from being broken. I have to admit I paid Carl before I looked at every detail and I didn't expect the perfect building however $3K in just a few hours I at least expect it to be put together in a way that reflects the kind of carpenter who builds these every day! In retrospect I realize anyone who is shooting nails that fast can't be doing a quality job which I felt we deserved! After all they received $3K check on the spot and I assure you it cleared the first time. I'm putting caulk in all the holes which were created by the nail gun put on the side of the building where he use the side panels to nail his scaffoling. I'm als waiting for the first rain. The building looks great and I hope it delivers us many years of safisfaction but I would not use Alpine for any future projects. I'm sure there not worried since the guys both use this as extra income after their retirements from the main jobs but I share with my Team all the time....No one remembers how you start a race only how you finish! In this case I think the quality of the workmanship is why I'm so disappointed. it's a shame becuase I think the sales guys are great to work with and seem to be very honest. But there only as strong as their teams who deliver and build and if they keep this up I'm sure more will feel the same.

We purchased a new Gable style shed through Elenson Builders. Many thanks to Leo for a perfect transaction from start to finish. Our builder, Davidson, was professional, thorough, and prompt. We are so pleased and would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a shed built on their property.

Contractor called the day before to confirm time and location. He arrived on the date of installation 10 minutes early and got directly to work. He verified all my options prior to starting work. The installer was very professional and did a wonderful job. Everything was to my liking.
