Description of Work: The workers were not terribly prepared. Their project coordinator was late most of the time. But, at the end of the project, everything looked good.

Description of Work: We essentially extended our roof over our patio to create an outdoor living room. The workmanship was great and we were very happy with the finished product. Also, the price we agreed on ahead of time was the price we paid at the end. However, the time it took to complete was about 5x more than what we were originally told. Now some of that was due to it being very rainy that month but the real problem was lazy workers who would tell us they'd be there on a certain day and then never show up or only show up for an hour. We dealt with these issues from the very beginning of the project to the end and received very poor communication regarding these problems from Allied. This became increasingly frustrating. So basically don't expect them to be any different than dealing with a typical contractor project regarding timeliness.

Description of Work: We were interested in new outdoor flooring. The folks were prompt, responsible, and offered a great product. While I was very pleased with all their services -- we ended up deciding to delay for a few months. But we'll eventually hire them. Very happy with their service.

Description of Work: They removed existing patio cover, and installed a cedar cover, and added a built in grill and gas burner. We are very pleased with the results of the work they performed and would recommend them.

Description of Work: We had Carvestone applied to an existing back patio (it was bare concrete with numerous cracks.) Application went VERY well - you'd never know the cracks were there. The crew they sent our were true artists. It looks like real flagstone - you'd never know it was an overlay. The crews showed up on time and did a great job. We would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Allied Outdoor Solutions installed a carvestone cap with a flagstone finish on an existing 20 year old pea gravel driveway with stains. The replaced two 10x10 sections in the driveway that had small settlement fractures (cosmetic not structural fractures), reason being is the crack would promulgate thru new cap. It is six months later and the driveway still looks new, and looks like a complete flagstone driveway (can't tell it is a cap). A number of neighbors have enquired about the driveway, so I sense there will be more carvestone finishes in the near future...Only negative comment is that the there is no competition for the cap and as such it is a bit more pricier than the job should cost. It is about 70% the cost of a new driveway. The good news it is worth it. The not so good news it has a high margin and thus could due with a bit more competition. Bottom-line, I am very pleased with the driveway and would do it again...One last point, they have a big back log, so plan to wait 8 wks to be scheduled in (again no competition).

Description of Work: Professional, punctual, experienced staff performed the job. Quality work. Some issues with clean up after the job, but the company made it right. I would recommend them to other people.

Description of Work: They laid carvestone over existing brick, concrete, and pea gravel. Their were too many issues to repeat. Suffice to say, we love the end product, but it brought me to tears on more than one occasion getting there. I've gone through a lot of remodeling projects, and this was by far the worst. Still, we love the end product.
