Project manager Noah Poirot worked with us throughout the entire process to insure an excellent end product was provided. The on-site workers were always courteous and adaptive to any concerns or modifications we had. The overall process took longer than expected but when working with Home Owner Associations and City regulations that is to be expected. Noah and his team worked well with all officials to insure the project met their expectations and was approved. The entire Allied team, Noah and Robert Shelton worked well with my wife and me to achieve the end results we will enjoy for many years.

Couldn’t be more pleased with our decision to go with Allied Outdoor Solutions. The permitting for the pool took an extremely long time, no fault of AOS, but once that was approved the actual construction of the project went very smooth. Noah and Joey were great to work with and kept me up to date on the schedule. The crews were professional, their workmanship and attention to detail were spot on, and they left a clean job site everyday that they were here. Everything went well. I got angry only once, but that was something minor and was it was taken care of to my satisfaction. Craig is a good guy. We sat down and he gave us some good ideas, spent a lot of time with us and worked up a good price. Carlos worked with us on the construction and was easy to contact anytime I had a question. He also catered to my time line as the job progressed. All in all my wife and I are very pleased with the whole job.

Brent Hare was our project consultant and was very helpful in understanding the differences between their Carvestone product and other methods of putting a "new face" on concrete surfaces. We were given a timeframe of 3-4 weeks to start. Needless to say, were shocked to have our project manager meet with us the next day and the actual work began the day after that! Their two man crew was on site the next morning and, after working two long days, finished the work. We were very pleased with how helpful and patient the installers were in answering our never ending questions.

Our Carvestone project turned out beyond our expectations. Allied Outdoor folks were professional, prompt, and courteous throughout the process. They walk you through each step in the beginning and make sure you know exactly what the next step will be before proceeding. Look no further if you have a concrete issue.

Jack, Jesse, Jonathan and the rest of the crew did a great job with the project. I had a design ready for the outdoor kitchen and needed someone to implement and I chose the right company. They made sure it came out exactly as planned, keeping track of all the details along the way. The craftsmanship was top notch and they made sure everything was as I had envisioned it. We had a wonderful experience with Allied Outdoor Solutions and highly recommend contacting them to create an outdoor living area that you’ll love! We were impressed with the original design from Mr. Joey Hoerr (Senior Project Consultant) for the 26’ x 14’ outdoor kitchen and seating area with a double column in the NW Houston area. Joey was easy to work with and always willing to provide feedback when we changed some of the design details during the construction phase. We are “hands-on” customers and Joey along with Mr. Daniel Jarvis (Project Manager) worked with us through some early construction issues and in the end, we have a great outdoor covered patio and we couldn’t be happier with the final product. What we appreciated the most is that Joey and Daniel listened to our concerns with an electrician and they provided another electrician that did a wonderful job! All of our punchlist items were addressed to make the space perfect. We also appreciated the timely communications from the PM and AOS schedulers so we knew when to expect the crews (construction, electrical, masonry, etc). We had our first Super Bowl gathering and everyone loved our new outdoor paradise! A sincere thank you to Allied Outdoor Solutions!

I could not have been more disappointed in the way this job was handled. I spent over $50,000 on this project and it took from October to January to finish. Allied had to come back and redo or fix nearly everything they did. Substandard work ,substandard materials, what they quoted was not the work they did. See pics The jobsite was sloppy, they left a box trash on my back patio, tiles everywhere, it was a complete mess from start to finish. The supplier they use for the coping around the pool had one color of coping in the show room and delivered a completely different color to the job site. This happened twice until we had to go pick another color at a different supplier, in all it took three attempts to get the coping color correct. I paid for upgraded travertine tile but what they put in was substandard travertine with huge epoxy patches they ended up having to come out and replace 48 of the tiles. I asked for a refund on the difference of the upgraded travertine to the travertine I received and they refused. See pics They tore my backyard up and told me they would fix anything they did. This was not true . I had to have them come out three times before they finally put enough sod down to patch the trenches they dug out in my backyard. If I had not complain they would have not have fix it. See pics All in all it was a terrible experience for my wife and I.

Great price and looks amazing. Take a look at these guys if your considering a pool remodel. Cost efficient and extremely professional. Carlos and the pool team were great as was the decking team. Highly recommend.

We paid $4380. downpayment in July. I prepared the backyard by having existing deck removed, trees trimmed, sprinklers moved and plants taken out. Company would not communicate schedule for work. Calls not returned. Finally got a call Dec. 13, someone new came out and decided the job would cost more money. It is my impressions they are not communicating, hoping we will just hire someone else now. We have an investment of 6 months time, thoughts, money and decisions and would like to have the work done at the rate agreed upon on our contract. This has been a very unprofessional experience. We spoke to Jordan Winar in Houston in December, who said he would research and call us back. We still have not heard from him. As a business owner, I am stunned at the poor customer service.

All of the work went very well. Their cost estimate was cheaper than others, but the work was very professional. They coordinated the schedule, completed the work in a day, and followed up several times to ensure we were satisfied. I would hire them again.

I contacted Allied via Angie's list and soon received a call from project consultant Craig Gaughan. We made an appointment and Craig drove over 40 miles out on a Saturday to evaluate my repair needs. He was very professional and gave me a clear description of how the repairs would be done and gave me an honest explanation of how timing of repairs depended on crew scheduling, weather, etc. Craig made no attempt to sell me more service that I was asking for. He even pointed out that I had the masonry crew for the day and that they could replace some broken mortar in another area. My next contact was with Carlos Flores, the project manager. Carlos came out to evaluate more specifically how the crews would perform the repairs. Carlos was also totally professional. He did an excellent job of explaining specifically how the work would be performed. The concrete crew, headed by Raul, completed the demolition and replacement of concrete over a two day period, in near freezing weather. They were careful to clean up the debris and neatly stacked all the masonry remove from the steps. The masonry crew, led by Jesse, were excellent craftsmen and left the stone work looking like remarkable. It was a large crew and they replaced all the mortar in one set of steps rather that just replacing the missing parts. Again, they did a good job of cleaning up the debris when they finished. Carlos came back out a few days later to inspect the project and make sure I was satisfied with the work performed. I will definitely use Allied again and highly recommend them.

I called Allied Outdoor Solutions after I heard an ad for the company on the Michael Berry show. I needed bulkhead work around my pool deck and some other concrete work as well as an outdoor kitchen slab. The first person who came out in late April was Ryan Schick. He understood what I wanted done and wrote everything up for me. He told me they were back logged by about 8-10 weeks, but that was fine with me. The next person who came out was the project manager Brad, he works directly with the crew and he wanted to go over Ryan's drawings and work quote. The crew were ahead of schedule so they actually started earlier than I thought they would. The first day they were here, I stayed a few hours and was very impressed by how quickly they had framed everything out. We had bad weather for about a month so I would stay in touch with the crew and let them know if it was raining or not, I live in Galveston and they were coming from North Houston. The work took longer than expected, but that was due to the weather. I am extremely happy with my final project. The coping that was replaced is a little off color, but you can't really match new lots of coping to 15 year old coping. It will fade with time. The concrete work is amazing and looks like it was part of the original pool. The one negative was that the crew did not do a very good job of cleaning up when they were finished. Allied called for the final walk through and I told them this. One of the guys from the crew came back and took care of it, including laying new sod. A seemingly small but very important point that I made to Ryan and then to Brad was a particular plant in our raised bed that was right on the edge of where a new bulkhead would be placed. I told them that the plant was extremely important to my wife because it was her late mom's. Ryan told Brad and Brad took great interest in repeatedly ensuring that the crew knew to protect that plant. This level of customer service went along way with me! -Wingo

Excellent! Guys showed up earlier than expected and did the job in about 3 days (not counting the concrete curing timeframe). Professional guys, cleaned up after themselves, they even graded my yard at no cost with the extra dirt they dug out to lay the concrete!

We chose Allied to do our 10 x 20 stamped concrete patio with a cedar pergola. Matt Pickard was awesome in coordinating both projects. Matt was always available to answer my questions throughout the whole process. We were concerned about drainage and they addressed that as well. The projects turned out beautifully! Thanks Matt!

Crew arrived when requested and cleaned up after they finished. Front sidewalk was beautiful. For some reason the driveway cement developed cracks within days after completion. Allied came out and removed the cracked cement and replaced it at no additional charge.

Allied Outdoor Solutions is amazing! It is a little pricier than some of the competition, but you get what you pay for and it is a very noticeable difference in quality and construction, yet the financing options are perfect. We recently extended our patio and wrapped it all in a flagstone look with carvestone. Stephen and his team did a tremendous job from planning, educating, build, selection of colors to design. I highly recommend the team, and plan to use them once again as we continue to build our dream outdoor patio space.

This company is fantastic. Professional, and some of the best work i have ever had a contractor do for me. The quality is excellent, used rebar properly spaced, rebar chairs and the yard was kept spotlessly clean. If you are going to have concrete work done at your home I highly recommend this company.

Run, don't walk, in any direction that takes you away from Allied Outdoor Solutions. I sure wish I had read the reviews here before having them resurface our fading cooldeck, coping, and retaining walls. From the first missed appointment by the sales manager, the entire experience has been horrendous. Like many others have noted, they are masters of over-promising and under-delivering. The original design we chose was changed on the recommendation of the installation manager since he said we would have issues with it (seems like the sales manger would have had the same opinion). The install was supposed to take a few weeks and took several months, partially due to an unusually wet spring season that year. Even when it was dry, they rarely showed up, obviously wanting to get other projects started so that they would not be cancelled. They knew they already had us locked in so we were no longer a priority. The crew that did the original install made such a mess of our backyard, often leaving empty water bottles and cans. There is still deck stain that ran down the pool tile under the coping that I have not been able to remove and they could not be bothered to remove. They stated they would do their best to keep debris out of the pool and spa. The amount of debris that ended up in both and sat there for months was incredible! It took multiple visits by professional pool cleaners to get our pool back to normal after the work was completed. We have needed a handful of repairs over the years and they always take weeks to get completed. In the last repair they even used a completely different color of /grout mastic and said they could not come back out to fix it. Another item worth noting is that you will have to reseal the deck at least every two years and that the color will fade tremendously between those resealings. They will likely need to install new color before resealing and will of course charge additional for those touch ups. They are smart businessmen in that they have you exactly where the want you, locked in for years, if you want to keep their mediocre product looking its best. We played their game and had it sealed a few times since we spent so much for the original installation and did not have the money to replace it with something else. On this last scheduled resealing appointment I reached out to the project manager the day before to confirm after awaiting nearly two months to be put on the schedule (naturally he did not reach out to me to confirm first) and was told they would be there the following afternoon. We had guests arriving for the holiday weekend so we were cutting it close. They did not show and the project manager did not return any calls or e-mails for the entire weekend. I called the sales person who sold us the resealing and he said the manager had a family emergency. While that is completely understandable, the fact that no one reached out to me to apologize and explain that speaks volumes about how poorly run this company is. I could post so much more about our interactions with them over the years, but hope this outline and the several photos of their shoddy work attached show you all that you need to know. Do yourself a favor and save up for real stone or stick with a known product like cooldeck. If you elect to use Allied Outdoor Solutions, you will undoubtedly be massively disappointed with the results.

I would not recommend Allied Outdoor Solutions for concrete work at your home. The first time the patio was poured, the concrete chipped and disintegrated and had to be torn out and repoured. Allied offers only a one year warranty on its projects. We paid Allied over $7,000 for work and are out of warranty by less than one year and they will not stand behind their workmanship and product by repairing the chipped paint areas by the entry backdoor. Our roof covered stamped concrete patio is peeling paint and although Allied acknowledged they have had problems with the stamped concrete, they will not touch up the paint but instead are offering to sell a new concrete project for $6,000. They claim to offer 100% satisfaction but this is not true. No thank you, Allied.

The quality of the work was fantastic. Carlos and his crews showed up when they said they would and did amazing work. The projects look better than we had anticipated. They kept me informed on timelines and made sure everything was satisfactory. The only issue I had was with the initial salesman that came to give us an estimate. He did not seem to communicate well at all with the foreman who wasn’t doing the projects. There were too many times where everyone was not on the same page. Felt like once he secured the sale we weren’t important anymore. I was hoping after spending the money that we did with Thisbe company that they would have taken care of us a little better than they did. Other than that it was a good experience and I would consider hiring them again in the future.

Excellent, could not have been better. Allied responded very quickly and prepared the estimate a few days later. The work was performed by a highly-skilled crew who were very courteous, competent, hard-working and respectful of my property. The concrete finish is as close to perfect as I have ever seen. The slope of the finished driveway is perfect and there are no low spots or humps. Water now runs from the garage to the street just as I wanted. Had it not been for Tropical Storm Imelda, the whole job would have been completed in 3 days. I highly recommend Allied Outdoor Solutions, they are very competent and operate in a very professional manner.
