This is a very bad place to do business. Yes they give free estimates that are outrageous and they are very intimidating and high pressure. They have pictures of other places and try to to tell you it yours. They do a very poor job. Cant even clean a dryer vent properly. Never again. i will find a better place. try stanley steemer.

Worthless and only caused more problems

Awful! They managed to kink and flattened the outgoing hose from the dryer to the house vent and didn't report they had an accident. I ended up finding the damaged (beyond repair) hose a year later and was amazed the dryer managed to work at all. They cleaned the black mold in our house HVAC ducts and told us they'd install a UV light to kill mold so it would not begin again. Instead they placed a UV light in the transom and never plugged it in. Indeed, they would have need to run a wire to the locatin and never told me they needed me to hire an electrician. I discovered black mold throughout our HVAC ducts a couple years later and the light that had never been turned on. Totally unforgivable! We ended up paying $4000 again two years later to get the new growth of black mold cleaned out. Flunking company! Dishonest and corrupt.

Be aware - SCAM. Company listed under multiple names - I called Pearland Air Duct Cleaning and received a quote from All States Pro Services. Then the 2nd quote had the name of Houston TX Cleans. The only reason I decided to go against my gut feeling was because of the 5* reviews on Google under the Pearland Air Duct Cleaning (original search). All started well: I sent an email through their "contact us" page on their website ([*** Link removed ***] from google link), a polite man contacted me promptly (+1 832 776 9256) - 7/8/22. Veronica and Delmer came on 7/10/22. I told them I don't have a dust issue, just a musty smell when switching from heater to AC in the spring. She quoted me a deep ac cleaning and confirmed that sporiciding will be sprayed on the coil box and throughout the system while on to get rid of the mildew - Great. The quote was reasonable and i was able to negotiate to have the dryer vent cleaning included. They requested I pay 1/2 of the quote to book the cleaning; which i did. The day of the cleaning Delmer took less than 2 hrs to vacuum all the ducts and clean the system with 2 plenum boxes - vacuum and brush only, sprayed a bit of Kilz (primer not a mildew treatment) at the ducts connections. Veronica had left to give a quote to another customer. When asked to pay the other 1/2, I asked Veronica to show me that all the things quoted were done - I was home and did not witness any of them happening; only the plenum boxes were vacuumed and the ducts cleaned with rotor brush from the plenum box. She became defensive and aggressive. I was shocked. I did not pay the 2nd 1/2 - $300 for what was done is a rip off. I called the main office, they said they would call back and they never did. Called again 3 days later, this time they asked me to send an email, which i did and heard crickets... Cherry on the cake (sarcastic): I checked the vents myself after they left and I do have a mold issue still unaddressed... There is so much I'd like to warn you about this company... My heart is broken to see that some people are really here to steal from you… So don't be DUMB like me: STAY AWAY from this company. I am wondering if most of the reviews are bogus - if you look at the reviewers profiles, none of them are sharing their reviews to the public and they are all hollow... And the hilarious one even talks about "i don't understand the bad review" - Which one? there are only 5* reviews moron. I guess a dryer vent cleaning could worth a 5* as it is pretty straight forward to do - I ended up doing mine myself as they left without doing it. Took $100 for an estimate, NEVER sent us the estimate. Cannot ever reach a supervisor. They kept sending us the receipt for the $100 they took.

I asked All States Pro for an estimate for duct and dryer vent cleaning. Their web site advertised duct cleaning for $139 an air conditioning unit with unlimited vents (I have 2 units). I also needed to add a dryer vent cleaning and have the vents sanitized. I thought I would get and estimate around $700. It came back at $3162!!! I told him I needed to get additional estimates as his was extremely HIGH. I got 3 more estimates from Angie's List, all for a $1000 or less. I got all my vents cleaned and sanitized for $741 from an Angie's list Certified Company with a 2020 Superior Service Award. Needless to say I did not use All States Service Pro

I'm wondering if this company has gone under - the ph. no. doesn't work and I still have no response after sending an online need for an appt. from several days ago.

They were supposed to come out to clean my chimney that had never been used before and was billed $1100 and did not even receive a bill. When I called i was placed on hold and then the phone was hung up. Called again and the call went straight to voicemail. I was also billed by Houston Texas Cleaning. who is this company. I had to put a fraud alert on my card. ridiculous. I thought Angie's list researched these people.

They charged me $435 plus tax to clean my dryer vent calling it a deep clean, All they did was run a vacuum hose up the vent like a normal cleaning. Took them 30 minutes. I assumed this was going to be something completely different. I was supposed to have them clear my other vent, but I asked them to leave. It was then that they said they could clean the other vent for the normal $89 rate. These guys rip you off. I have written the company asking for a refund for the over charges. No response yet. I will just contest the charges if they don't answer. I also had them replace a vent cover and the flex hose...that charge was $149 plus tax. Very expensive and the installation was very sloppy and not professional.

I made an appointment for my chimney to be cleaned and the price was $99. They came at the designated date and time and called ahead to let me know they were coming. So far so good. When they came they inspected the fire place, chimney and the chimney cap. He initially said $1,700 to replace the cap and I said no way. He then said they could clean and repair it and it would look like new and quoted $499 + $179. He said there was no flashing around it and it could leak causing damage and quoted $140. This was a LOT more than I was expecting, but was open to the possibility a repair was needed. I said I would do it all, but wanted them to include the flashing at no cost. He made a call and it was agreed to clean and repair the cap and crown, do the flashing and clean the chimney and fireplace. The cost including tax was $841. Unbeknownst to me my neighbor who is in construction was watching the whole time. He said all they did was to paint the cap and crown, he heard no hammering for the flashing and they didn't have a second ladder to get to the top of the chimney so could not have done a complete job. The fireplace and I assume the chimney were cleaned and the fire place looks great, but that is a $99 job. My son, who does roofing, came over a couple days later and got on the roof and said it looked terrible. They painted black tar on the so called flashing on my gray roof! He said if it needed flashing he would have told me before when he was on the roof a few months ago. All together they were at my house about an hour and my neighbor said the guy on the roof was killing time because he only painted the cap and crown and tar. I trusted them to give me an accurate assessment of what needed to be done and they lied to me. They figured I wouldn't know the difference and took advantage of me. My neighbor called the 2 numbers I had to ask them about the job and neither one called back. Not a surprise! I've filed a dispute with my credit card company.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company simply trying to get someone out to repair my roof and chimney. I scheduled them to come to my beach house in Galveston the week before and confirmed the appointment before heading down from my primary home in Houston. I drove down to Galveston the night before prepared for my service window of 8am-12pm Tuesday October 20, 2020. After no contact from the company between 8am and 11am I called to inquire when my technician would be coming out. I received a call back at 11:35am from a number that was not the company's main number and no message was left. I called the number back at 11:58am just to see if that was the actual service person coming out for our established time slot. When I spoke to the employee that I am assuming is the operator/customer service person for the company, I was told that because I did not answer the call( from and unknown number who also left no message) that their service person went to another location. The operator said he would try and get someone over to fulfill their guarantee but after me calling back several times, I was told they would not be able to get anyone out until Sunday? This is 5 days after our agreed upon appointment from last week. I explained to the operator and he understood that I drove down from Bellaire the night before, taking that Tuesday off work. I was told their manager Tina would not send anyone out and they were sorry. I was absolutely stunned by this experience. I have been in and owned retail businesses all my life and never once felt so screwed over. This company simply did not care about what they had done or even attempted to remedy this horrible situation they caused. I cannot say enough in this short review to dissuade other potential customers from staying away from their services. If they have the audacity to pull a stunt like this on me, I cannot imagine what their work product must be like. This is not a company you want to do business with . Stay away from this company at all costs!!

Not great. I paid for a chimney sweep and safety inspection (normally $179, but with discount $99). Before the job started, the rep basically told me that I would need a more comprehensive cleaning, despite only mentioning that I had bought the property recently and did not know the condition of the chimney. Of course, the comprehensive cleaning cost nearly 4x what I purchased through Angie's list. I did not have time or patience to argue, so I accepted the price, but it left a bad taste. No point in purchasing a deal through Angie's List, and felt like I was upsold.

After inspecting the chimney, the two technicians provided a quote for cleaning and repair. The cleaning price was the same as the previous quote by phone ($89 for basic cleaning) but the repair was a little expensive ($288 for attaching a metal flange, caulking and painting the repair). They provided the paint, which was similar to the original color of the chimney but not the same. By the time that I located a leftover gallon of the original paint, they had finished the job. My fault for not insisting that they wait to use my paint. The technicians were courteous and professional and did a good job.

My rent home needed the chimney inspected and swept. All States Duct Pro had a coupon on Angie's list for $99.00 to do the job. They came right on time according to my maintenance man who was there and they called me, told me the chimney inspection went well but the chimney needed a "deep clean" that would cost extra. They said there was a lot of soot that need a chemical solution cleaning and brushing; the cost was $39.00 per foot so the total cost was $600+ range! I told them to just do what the coupon said - sweep and inspection. I called the office and said the description of the job was very misleading; the office person said they got the price wrong and it was supposed to be $19.00 per foot for the deep cleaning but there was a type-o on the order so the cost would be around $300 so did I want them to proceed? I couldn't believe it! I said no, just do what I paid for. According to my maintenance man, they didn't even sweep the chimney, they just cleaned the soot out of the bottom of the fireplace which I could have done. Then they left the bag of soot/trash on the floor by the fireplace, packed up and left and my maintenance man had to throw away the trash and clean up after them. I spent $107.17 for nothing. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I didn't hire them. I was not comfortable with the back and forth negotiation that they had to make with their office. It seemed like the back and forth of buying a car, where the salesman had to keep going to his manager for approval.

The supervisor David, was very helpful and informative. The work was completed quickly and professionally. I was very happy with both the service and the professionalism of David and his assistant. They had a little trouble finding my place, but were actually early to the appointment. They were very thorough, and respectful of my property. They put protection on the floor and thoroughly cleaned up when they were finished. They used their phones to let me see how dirty it was before and clean it was after they completed the work. I would definitely recommend them, and hire them again. Are used an Angie’s list coupon to pay.

I was impressed with the reviews prior to utilizing the service. I liked that there was a coupon for carpet cleaning services, and after discussion with the husband, decided to go ahead and have the carpets cleaned in two bedrooms. We have a puppy and have fostered several cats last year, and thought since we were getting new bedroom furniture for the master, it would be a good time to have the two rooms animals had been in cleaned BEFORE the furniture arrived. I have always cleaned my carpets myself, and thought I would treat myself and be lazy.... I should have just done the work myself. I got the 2 rooms for $89 package deal, was called within five minutes to schedule the appointment. Scheduled the appointment on a day I was off for an arrival time between 8am-12pm. There was no confirmation or reminder prior to, so the day of when I hadn't heard anything by 10am, I called to make sure I was still on the schedule. I called the number listed for All State Air Duct Pro to have no answer, no answering machine, etc. I called the number back that called to schedule the appointment, got no answer, it went to a voice mail but did not give a company name/number so I was unsure if it was the correct number and did not leave a message. They number with the voice mail did return my call in about five minutes, assured me I was on the schedule and that they should be finished with the current job and on their way to me in about 30 min. I was called at 11:30 to let me know they were on the way. I was called about 30 min later to have them tell me they were at my house (they weren't, they were at the wrong location a block away, but ok), got them to my house and showed them the two rooms I wanted to have steam cleaned. Immediately the upsale pitch started - you need a deep clean, you need your dryer vent done, how about deoderizing the two rooms. I didn't want any additional services, and was flat out asked by the sales person WHY I even had them there if all I wanted was the carpets steam cleaned. I agreed to have them deoderize the two rooms at an additional cost of $29 per room. Work was performed, technician sat and talked to me the entire time his worker did the rooms. I did inspect the two rooms as far as looking at them, technician said the carpet should be dry in a couple of hours, they were paid and left. Again, I have done my own carpets before, and knew it takes some time to dry. 2 1/2 hours later, I walked in to make sure the rooms were dry, and they were a soaking wet mess. Squishy wet. As I had someone coming shortly to assemble the new bedframe, I immediately called the technician back and got a voice mail. I left a message and followed up with a text. I then called the number back that had called to schedule the appointment, left a voice mail there as well. I then grabbed my wet vac, and was able to pull water out of the carpet. 30 minutes later and using a very small wet vac and doing a 3 foot wide section of carpet, I realized I had not heard back from the company, and that I needed to go rent a carpet cleaner just to pull the water out of the carpet so it didn't sit that wet all night long and do damage. I went to Home Depot, got a carpet cleaner, came home - went over my carpet in my master bedroom twice sucking water out of the carpet, and once in the second bedroom we had cleaned. Our master bedroom was mostly dry about an hour later, and the second bedroom was still only slightly damp the next morning. It cost an additional $24 for the rental at Home Depot. As it was Easter weekend, I figured I would hear back from the company on Monday, but over a week later have never heard back from them. All State Air Duct Pro was NOT the company that came to clean the carpets - the company on the paperwork is Houston Texas Cleaning Services. I still have not heard back from them - work was done on the 19th, today is the 29th of April. There was no identifying information for the company on the phone number that called to schedule (no one answered with the company name, no voice mail set up with company information), there was no information on the vehicle that came to the location, the All State Air Duct Pro number information on this website had no one answer, etc. Depending on the way the service went, I had planned to call them back for air duct work, but would not call them back. This is my first time ever leaving a negative review, I have had awesome luck/service from everyone on Angie's List prior. I gave a C overall rating because they did clean the carpets well, but did not complete the job in my opinion as carpet should not be squishy wet after cleaning 2 1/2 hours later. I gave the B rating on price/value because the upselling began immediately. I gave the D rating for quality and Responsiveness because of the water left in the carpet, and lack of response when calling with the problem the same day. I gave the D rating for punctuality because while they may have squeaked in at 11:58 for the window, there was no communication until I initiated it. I definitely would not use this company again. They could have made this right the same day, but chose to not respond to calls or texts.

Guy wanted to go up on my roof to clean my dryer vent. It’s an extra charge for every 14 feet. I pointed out where the dryer vent was and he even noted the lint .. Nd then told me this wasn’t the dryer vent. I’ve lived here 18 years. I know where it is. When he started to look at the chimney, communication went further south. I asked for the price, he said “1 million dollars”. I asked again, again “1 million dollars”. Told him to go ahead and leave. Wonder if he would have said all that if he was dealing with a male homeowner. Leave your machismo at home buddy.

I would hire this company again in an instant! We had a misunderstanding about our Angie's List deal (I was at work at the time, my husband was home). I called the office, and they immediately sorted out the situation. The office manager was extremely helpful and courteous. My husband said that the person who came out to clean the chimney was very nice, professional, and did a wonderful job. He was able to tell us things that could be an issue, and gave us suggestions. I fully intend on using them again in the future, and highly recommend them to anyone needing chimney services.

I hired this company for my dryer vent cleaning. Staff was very responsive and punctual, but did not know how to deal with a dryer booster fan installed inside the vent. Essentially, the work was not performed to my satisfaction since the booster fan was not cleaned and is still very noisy.

They came out for free which was better than I got from other companies. The guy who came out seemed quite straight forward. They did a good job.

Deep cleaning of carpets so good I was very pleased with a service for what I had to pay.
