I thought the prices were high, but fair. It's a family-owned business and it was nice doing business with them.

The guy came out to my house. He seemed "cool" from the moment I opened the door, as though he was not interested from the start. We have a nice size bath but need remodeling for better layout and functionality. His basically had no ideas of his own. He could not figure out how to move things around. He gave one suggestion which cut the use of the room in half, and when I reacted to it, he acted as though I didn't know what I was doing! When I asked why they told me that he could come up with a design, he had no answer. He basically said they couldn't help...and get a drawing first. Due to our discussion, my impression was that they didn't like to do jobs like that unless they were bigger, like $20-30K. I was looking for something smaller, which seemed like a waste of time to him. I would not call them back, as the experience left me very upset, plus he wasted MY time, since I was willing to get drawings first. We did find someone to do the work, which we are VERY please with...so far.

They did brilliant work, I was very pleased with them. They were easy to work with. The pricing was a little bit higher than average, but by the quality of their work I would say that they're worth it.

They were professional. I thought the guy was kind of rude. He didn t give me an actual bid but a rough estimate. That is why I didn t go with him. He wasn t going to give me a real detailed estimate.

The guy that came out did not seem very enthusiastic. He kept alluding to the fact they could do but there was always a but. It was a very negative experience. I think the company was good, everything was very professional, he was dressed professionally and the documents he gave me was professional. He kept leading us to why we should not do what we wanted to do. It did not want to do the job period. Basically what we are talking about doing was putting an addition on the house. The alternative is moving. We don't have anyone showing us exactly what we want to do we are just discussing out options what we can do. It was as if he was not interested in doing the job. He was a really nice guy and it was the end of the day and he had to drive pretty far. I think if they sent out someone else on a different day we would have another experience.

Contacted All Star to rehab an older garage. They said they could do it, but specified that I had to clear overgrown landscaping before they could make an estimate. Used one of their contractors to do this-that's the approximately $1200.00, paid in cash as requested. Contacted again, was eventually told, in so many words, "Don't call me, I'll call you." Never heard from them again.

They were very professional. They came out on time. The work was fantastic. They were supposed to come out and give me an estimate. But they have not yet. The service was great.

They came and looked over my kitchen, and told me they would call me back with in a week to 10 days with an estimate. It has now been over a month and they have not called me back.

They came and did a second-rate observation. He didn't even get on the roof or measure it. He said I needed a "partial-roof." He wouldn't give me a written quote unless I hired them. The price was very expensive. It was a bad overall experience. They do strictly exterior work.

This is not the response of a A-rated company.

The workmanship was superb. The time to complete was longer than expected, but given the complexity and detail of the work, it was justified. Workmen and craftsmen were professional and skilled in their area of expertise. A very good job, indeed.

We felt they were a little high on price since they do NO painting or flooring, but heard they did quality work and that was more important. The job was small and took 2 weeks but they insisted on placing a portajohn on our driveway(BIG nuisance for small job)and then had to call ourselves to get it picked up. When a problem arose with measurments, he only gave us only one option which was not feasable since they had already cut our carpet and he was not willing to work with us on it. WE had to figure out the solution and it worked. The project manager, Tim, could get an attitude at the drop of a hat. He would come in and nit-pik at the workers and didn't have good communication skills with them or me. Some of the workers left their trash on our curb and the trashmen only come twice weekly so we would have to pick up the trash ourselves and put into OUR trash cans. The work quality was very good though and we're pleased with the final results, except we had to do the painting!!!

Donald Smith was very professional and gave us a written proposal. He kept in touch with us and answered all questions without us having to chase him down. The crew arrived and performed exceptional work in a timely manner. They tore down the sagging porch cover and calculated the amount the pitch needed to be adjusted for the rebuild. They tore down the old porch and rebuilt the new structure in two days. On a separate day, they cleaned all existing debris, and removed it from the site. They adjusted the pitch, framed the structure, and decked the roof. They also installed hardy plank on the porch sides, the porch ceiling, and matched the existing siding on the front of the house. They installed a new porch light and cleaned up the debris. They did all of this without harming existing shrubs and plants. We had already selected a roofing company who had done previous work for us, yet All Star was able to match the roofer's work on the house so it went together flawlessly.

The workers were extremely nice and courteous. They cleaned up very well and everything turned out accordingly. I did not have to complain one single time, which is unusual. I loved their professionalism and their intelligence as builders. I wish I could tell you the sizes then you would have a better estimate on what it cost. The price was good. It all depends on the size of the place being built and the extent of work they have to put into it. I am very pleased with the way things have turned out here with this job.

I had heard so many nightmares about friends remodeling. So I wasn't expecting the remodeling job to be a walk in the park, but it was about as close to a slow walk as possible. Just like anything in life...if you want it bad enough, you have to just take a few deep breaths & when it's finished, it will be worth it and then some. Not to mention that it has added a TON of value to our home. It's nice to have a kitchen I can REALLY cook in. Plus, the rep from All Star was absolutely realistic...with costs, budgeting, timeliness, dealing with the whole process. On top of that, he gave my husband & I some ideas that we never would have thought of...that make a HUGE difference now. I guess that's why All Star has such a good reputation. Plus, I felt comfortable with them because they've been around for so long & it's a really nice family that runs the place. Couldn't beat it!

100% satisfied! My husband and I were happy with the customer service we received from beginning to end. The contractors who came to the house every day worked quietly and diligently to get the job done as quickly as possible. They did a remarkable job matching the add-on. You can't even tell where the old brick end and the new brick begins. We will definitely use All Star Construction, Inc. For future remodeling jobs.
