No issues. Work performed satisfactorily and cost was reasonable.

After 1 1/2 months of trying to repair our upstairs AC, I consulted Angie's List for possible companies to replace the unit. Ed Newby showed up early and suggested a possible replacement. He said there was no need to replace the furnace. He asked how soon we would like to have the unit installed and suggested that very afternoon. It was like 100 degrees outside, so we agreed. Steve and Felix arrived within two hours and did the install. They both did amazing work considering the temperature in the attic registered 157 degrees when they started. Money was not paid, as per company policy, that day. Ed came by about two weeks later to inspect the job to make sure everything was operating perfectly. Then the payment for services was paid.

I made an appointment but I had to cancel it. I will make another appointment with them when I can.

I'm under contract with them for twice a year. It's very routine with them. They call and ask me when I would like them to come out. It's just easy. I don't have to call them or worry about it every 6 months. They're always on time. They do a good job. They do my sister's house as well. We think they're great.

They're fantastic. They came and did a thorough job. They did it quickly. Then one of the owners comes later and follows up and checks everything. So you get that peace of mind that they actually follow up on the bigger jobs. The owner spent quite a bit of time here. In addition, he helped me get some more air redirected to some of the rooms upstairs that were warmer and he didn't charge me anything for it. It was really great service. They are great.

It couldn't have gone any better. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful to me in deciding what was best in my situation. They didn't waste any time "getting to me". They stayed until the job was done (about 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.). They left everything cleaned up. They gave it about a week to see if any problems arose (there were none) and then someone who was not a member of the installation crew come out to inspect everything to be sure it was right. There were a couple of things that were fine, but not perfect - I don't recall specifically what they were, but they were minor things that didn't affect the actual operation of the equipment, anyway the guys came back out and fixed them the way the inspector wanted them. (The inspector did explain it to me in detail, I just don't recall exactly.) Everyone I have dealt with at this company from the owner, to the office staff, to the installation crew, to the inspector was very respectful, and professional. They take pride in their work and it's evident.

I scheduled an appointment for 1-3pm which had to be moved to 3-5pm. Ed called me around noon and told me that his last call was close to me and I could either keep the 3-5pm or he could drop by in 20 minutes. I happened to be around, so I told him to come on by. He listened to the symptoms and set to work diagnosing the issue. Everything checked out and he found that it was a clogged drain line. He cleared it and showed me how it worked in case I wanted to clear it myself in the future. He refused payment because I was a repeat customer and he was more interested in getting my system up and running than the service fee, which was less than I was quoted by others. It took him less than a half hour from start to finish to get the A/C working again and it is working like new! While he was here, he checked the fluid levels and made sure everything else was in order before he cleaned up and cleared out. The entire service cost one cold bottle of water to go. I'd HIGHLY recommend him for the past job he did and for the excellent follow up customer service today. The A/C was installed 4/16/2013 and service was performed 7/7/2017. Overall, excellent work on both.

Repairs done quickly and efficiently. Price higher than same repair done for others in my neighborhood (different service providers).

They contacted me 4 times about the unit as we are a commercial property. It is a very small unit, but the technician/owner showed up and didn't even look at it and stated "We don't do commercial." I called and spoke with the office and was informed that the "technician/owner" that attended the property was the one that approved the trip. I was very very disappointed as I waited two days for the technician to arrive.

I spoke with All Star on Monday morning 5/1/17 about needing to replace my 20+ year AC condenser that stopped working. Ed with All Star met me that afternoon to review the unit and provide a quote. He said he had a crew available to install it the next day. The crew showed up Tuesday morning 5/2/17 and finished installing the new condenser and evaporator coils by 5 pm. They were professional, courteous and respectful. Chris, a co-owner of All Star, came back out to do a quality check on the work to ensure everything was installed to his standards. The price was comparable to another quote I received from a small independent company and it was quite a bit less than a quote I received from one of the larger home service companies who do everything (i.e. AC, electrical, plumbing, etc).

He was knew what was wrong and was right on what had to be fixed.

Excellent. I'm not handy at all, and was concerned about finding a company that I could trust. The company that my home warranty company sent out gave me a bad feeling from a professionalism perspective. So I came here on Angie's List, and found All Star. I was immediately put at ease by the owner and his crew. He outlined what was wrong with my system, the solution, the cost -- all in words that I could understand. The crew worked efficiently and were very polite, and followed up in a week with an in-person checkup. They even changed my filters, and gave me tips on taking care of my system. The pricing was also fair. All of my interactions with the company have been professional -- from the office to the crew. I felt as if I received a great deal of value in return. I'm very pleased, and highly recommend All Star. I'll definitely call them again!

Great! They came out that evening even though our AC went out on a weekend night. Everyone I've worked with from there has been amazing, timely, responsive and helpful.

The repairman was early and quick at his job. We had the new unit installed efficiently and things run so well now. We are very pleased with everything.

From estimate, thru scheduling, then removing old equipment, installing new equipment (with updates & tweaking), and final quality assurance review by one of the Owners, pleasant and efficient experience. Would highly recommend. Reasonably priced, knowledgeable and honest. Will continue to use them for regular service.

Called All Star AC on a Monday, based on Angie's List reviews, and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday. On Tuesday the technician called about 30 minutes ahead of time to let me know he was coming. I asked technician for routine maintenance check of AC equipment. After examining the equipment he recommended cleaning the outside coil, and replacing the drip pan under the inside (attic) blower (drip pan was obviously old and rusty). He gave me a quote of $448 total, I accepted and scheduled an appointment for Friday to complete the work. On Friday he again called ahead to tell me he was on the way. He did the work quoted, for the price quoted, and in the amount of time he estimated. He showed me the clean coil and new drip pan when he was done. The technician was professional, polite and helpful. He was on time, and didn't ask for additional fees. He certainly could have recommended other work which I probably would have accepted as the equipment is 15+ years old, but he didn't. I have no complaints, and All Star AC will likely be at the top of my list next time I need service.

They were nice and fine to work with. We would call them again if something came up.

Chris came out the next day, and found the leak immediately in the evaporator coil. He did a little research and found that the coil was still under warranty, and it was replaced the next day. Everyone from All Star was courteous, punctual and went above and beyond. Now our A/C system is working perfectly. All-Star has found a new customer!

Said there was no problem; got another group to come out who fixed the issue after All Star said they would not come out to follow up on the underperforming AC

Ed is very friendly and professional. He gave me a very straight forward solution that others were struggling to provide. He offered me a reasonable price and arranged a next day service. With 2 year labor warranty and 10 year component warranty, I did not see any reason to reject the offer. The next day, two very professional technicians arrived at 9 am and did all the heavy lifting, wiring, installation, etc. They finished all the work by 3 pm and the house was as cleaning as the time before installation. Very professional and very neat. After one week, Chris came to my house to do a thorough quality checking before collecting my check. I addressed the issue of non-stop fan and he is a pro who can identify the cause and solve it accordingly. He then tested the refrigerant pressure and found that the pressure is too high. That issue was also professionally addressed with a checking equipment and a refrigerant tank. After his 1.5 hours of thorough check and fine tuning, I know I have a great AC system and everything is in a perfect condition. I happily gave him the check and thanked him and ALL Start for the good quality work they have provided to me.

The technician was on time - polite - respectful of my home. He made quick work of the needed repairs and did not try to upsell me. I was especially happy that he did not bad mouth "the competition" even though he could clearly see the previous companies sticker on the unit. I will use All Star again as they have proven to be reliable and reasonably priced.

They do an excellent job. They are always punctual and I am very satisfied.

UNRELIABLE-UNPREDICTABLE I contacted this company on 8-1-16 and the receptionist scheduled an appointment for me on Friday, 8-12-16 from 1-3pm. She stated that a technician (Ed) would come out and give us an estimate. She called on 8-11-16 to remind us that Ed would be there the next day. On Friday, 8-12-16 at 11:28 am (Ed) called us and wanted to know the attic footage (1200 sq ft) and quoted me an estimate of $1900. He wasn't coming to the house. I had taken off work for this appointment and made arrangements for my dog. Prior to this week, I had contacted three different companies listed on Angie's List and received 3 estimates all being $1000. less. (We went with Payless Insulation, read their review.) I called the receptionist and told her that I needed to speak to the owner about this service; she was very rude and said that Ed was the part-owner. I give this company a minus zero and repeat-unpredictable! The estimate quoted was not comparable to the other companies on Angie's List.

Awesome job. Ed Newby thoroughly explained the problem and showed me the parts that were defective. He showed up promptly and took care of the problem quickly.
