Description of Work: Don at Alamo is very responsive and easy to contact. Several friends of mine have used his services and he came highly recommended. I have hired him to do a complete garage renovation for me. My 1930's garage is about to fall down. His bid is a bit higher than the other bid I got, but he is doing more work, puts EVERYTHING in writing and I feel confident I can trust him. The other company was impossible to get in touch with and created a less than thorough list of work in their bid.

+ -1 moreHe replaced some vent-pipe, and removed some flashing on a sunroom roof. He took the antenna off the house, which was unsightly. He changed out some lead roofjacks, because it was eaten away by rodents sharpening their teeth on it.
Description of Work: They came and fixed the roof on a house that I just bought and was flipping.

+ -1 moreThey did a wonderful job on our roof. They came out when requested and finished in an incredibly short amount of time. They took care to clean up the work area thoroughly. You may receive lower bids but you won't receive the same prompt service and honest workmanship that you will from Alamo.
Description of Work: Mr. Sabin replaced the roof on my house as well as installed decking to the entire roof. His crew was very fast and extremely nice. His head guy, Roberto, was very professional and kept us informed of the process all along the way. Great communication. Mr. Sabin is one of the nicest contractors we've ever met. His prices are a little higher than others, but he is really concerned with doing a good job. He's very knowledgeable about all aspects of home improvement.
