Excellent. It was 84 in the house. I made a call around midnight, they were at my home within the hour. The work carried out was professional with no time wasted. Cost was normal for work done at that time of night. I would highly recommend them. Will be contacting them about a future replacement unit.

Perfectly. I first had a tune-up and general "check up" on my A/C system. It passed but he did find a small issue that he said should be resolved before next summer. He also discovered the mystery of why some room in my home are cold while some are sweltering - it's because there were not dampner installed when the house was built. He told me this could be taken care of any time I wanted and gave a price quote. I had them come back to resolve the issue of the drip pan and lack of float. It was fixed quickly and with no hassle. I will have them back before next summer to take care of the disparate temperature issue. They were very professional and great to work with!

Fantastic experience! The tech, Mark, was very knowledgeable and polite. I really appreciate his timeliness and willingness to explain the problem. The job got done right away and was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use again in the future.

The service technician was polite and courteous and did a good job for what equipment he brought. With that said, the main reason I needed maintenance is because I needed the drain line cleaned out. The technician only had a small CO2 can and could not adequately clean the line. I will have to pay for another visit to get in cleaned out. Plus, after the technician left, I checked to see if they put in the sludge tablets and I could not find any.

The pricing was fine. I've had this a/c tuneups in the past, and they didn't seem to do nearly as much as what prior a/c technicians have done.

The outside unit, just the condenser, they cleaned around it, they took my water hose, and washed it down real good, and this last visit they didn't do that. The last time they went up in the attic to look at the drain lines, to be sure that there was nothing clogged in the drain lines, and they didn't do that this time.

They installed my unit 6 years ago and I have had problems with it. For using the Big Deal, they have been fine. They came right away. I like the company, just as far as installation they are not the cheapest. The tech had an attitude that day, not with me but just in life in general. He got into it with someone on the street, it was over top. He was just having a bad day. They are topping off a small leak. The problem is with the model of the unit, but that was not known at the time. Quality is good. They do ok, I think they are high dollar.

I was very pleased with the technician they sent. He tried to fix the first air handler drain pan, but the unit was so old and rusted that I ended up having to get a new AC/Heating system installed. I had 2 technicians come and both were very professional and I trusted their opinion. They also showed me the problems with the unit. The installation went very well. They had a 5 man team working on it and within 4 hours I had cool air. I am very pleased with Air Tech.

The man came on time and was very professional. He looked at the air conditioning and added coolant but said that our system was old so we were losing a lot of cold air in the vents. Our house was built in 2008 - I know a lot of people who's house was built in the 90s or earlier whose house still cools. Since the air conditioning was serviced our house still maintains a temperature of 78 or higher no matter what the setting is. We thought maybe it was just the summer heat. We had window tinting installed and installed a nest thinking these would help. The house is still 80 degrees until about midnight and then it starts to cool down. Our bill has been crazy. I called this company back today and informed them the tune up had not helped. They said it would be another 129 dollars just to have someone come out. I asked if this could be waived since we did have someone come out already and I believe something was missed. They said it was a new problem (which is not true - the house is still just as hot as before the tune up) so they would have to charge another service fee. Very disappointed that I spent $136 for nothing. Will not use this company again.

It went great! I originally called John Moore, tech came out said it was the capacitor, changed it and then told me that the compressor was out. Ended up, John Moore tech said I needed a whole new unit at $8000. The whole time he was telling me this, I got the impression I was being lied to and being pressured. Tech was telling me if I didn't do everything he lined out in the quote I would not pass a safety inspection. I decided to get a second opinion and went to Angie's List. I called Air Tech of Houston after I saw the amazing amount of positive "A" reviews. Their office was helpful, gave me an appointment during a time slot that would work for my schedule. Tech, Darien, called ahead and arrived during the allotted time. He checked the system, replaced the capacitor and I was back up and running for under $300. He took the time to explain his only concern with the unit, fan and motor were vibrating. He explained why that could shorten the life of the unit. Gave me a price to replace the motor and fan (less than $700). I scheduled the work and they are coming out in a couple of days. Hopefully, I will only be updating this review with more good news! I absolutely didn't feel like I was being lied to or conned. I appreciate that there are still companies out there that are trying to do a good job and not trying to cheat people. I will definitely recommend Air-Tech of Houston.

Tech showed up timely and was really nice; however, he did not put enough refrigerant in so I ha to call them back. Tech showed up within the hour to add more refrigerant.

Had a few scheduling miscommunications. Tech didn't show up for what we thought was their timeframe. The scheduling lady admitted she messed up and had someone out that evening after hours even though we would have been ok with the next day. We were very pleased with the work done and the tech who came out to help us out. Would recommend even with the scheduling conflict.

Was in the process of moving and my upstairs AC went out a couple days before closing - with the new owners doing a walk through the next day. Had used Air Tech previously to service one of my units and they did a good job. Called them after hours and they offered to come out that evening or send someone the next morning. Opted for the next morning and they were there when quoted. First tech did the troubleshooting and found the problem (circuit board that controls the damping system, along with a damper that needed replaced). He explained the problem and the options along with the cost. I explained my situation with the closing, and they had someone out a couple hours later with the needed parts and did the repair. Finished up at 4:30 PM, with the walk through planned at 5:00 PM. For the record, have a home warranty - but anytime I call them they quote a min of a 5-7 days to have someone out and cost wise (as far as AC repair) don't save me that much. Would highly recommend Air Tech of Houston.

Went well, Zac was very knowledgeable and helpful. I wound up using another company I found from the manufacturer's website, a company who was closer by so I feel they were able to charge less looking at the long term. But regarding the AC tune up, which is what was purchased to get a 2nd opinion, Zac and Air Tech were spot on with their recommendations, so definitely a good partner to have for AngiesList...

Just Great : They came out identified the problem (motor on compressor went out). Gave us options that could be done. This is a 19 yr. old a/c unit. Decided to have replaced. Work started next morning. 6 technicians showed up. Removed and replaced all of a/c unit, compressor, coil, furnance etc. Installed compete new unit. Took several hours but everyone knew what they were doing an were extremely effiecent. I use this company previously in August 2015, to work on the other unit that needed the coil replaced. Same quality of work on both jobs. I appreciate the professionalism of all the company employees the service agent that came out first that reviewed and discussed all the options I had in getting it repaired or replaced and Nicholas the technician that did a lot of the work and coordinated the job.

Tech arrived and replaced the capacitor. Didn't check the unit after that, and turns out it wasn't cooling. Requested a follow-up call and on the second visit I was told I'd need ~ 900USD worth of freon (at $ 150/lb), but tech discouraged it. Had another company come check it - $ 95/lb of freon and I only needed 2lbs in the end. Lesson learned: shop around. Why are their freon 50% more expensive? The overall AC unit replacement cost was at least 30% more expensive than another quote.
