They are quite good. We use them for maintenance and for a replacement due to the floods. They came out and they evaluated and there was no charge. They were very quick to come out. They came out the same day to evaluate, and the next day we had our replacement. We use them for maintenance and our daughters use them for maintenance as well. They're a good company. They are knowledgeable, reasonable, and prompt.

The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. The work was done quickly and the technician explained everything along the way (what he was going to be checking when he got there, what he found through the service, why the part had failed, and why it needed to be replaced). The service fee to have the technician check over the system was $89 and the replacement part and install was $200

It was very good. Techician were available and they are on time. They discover the problem and fix it.

They came out a to inspect a leak and found that the furnace vent pipe was leaking. Did not honor the $53 service call fee but charged double that. The work done to seal the leak was very shoddy, see picture, and likely would not have fixed the problem. Two days later, roofer came in to do a full roof inspection and couldn't believe the work that was done, could still see daylight around the vent and is now going to re-do the work along with the other roof repairs.

very responsive to needs; however, i discovered several issues with the install; they forgot to connect one vent into bedroom and the more serious issue was they replaced the exhaust pipe for the furnace which penetrates through the roof and did not seal around the vent so for the 4 days of rain with Harvey, i maintained a bucket to catch the leak in the roof. Unfortunately, i did not notice the leak until the water came through a ceiling light into the house. They were responsive to fix the install problems but the furnace vent sealing problem created other problems that i'm having to repair myself.

Jason arrived on time and quickly went to attend the a/c. When he was finished, he gave me a receipt with a list of things that the a/c needed and how much it would cost if Air Tech performed the services.

Didn't fix the problem, but it may be a more serious issue. Satisfied with the service, but R22 is way too expensive to be adding without being sure that it will fix the problem.

Our A/C stopped working during Hurricane Harvey and it turned out to be a leaking copper evaporator coil. Before the storm had even fully passed, we were able to get in touch with Air Tech to schedule an initial evaluation of our system, and as soon as the roads to our house were passable, they immediately sent out a tech to review our system. He arrived exactly when he said he would, and was very professional and knowledgeable. They were able to find a matching coil for our unique system, and then came back to install the coil that afternoon! (That was with a limited staff because they warned us prior that many employees were still flooded.) The guys that installed it showed up exactly when they said they would, worked quickly, were clean and very polite. It was a wonderful experience and we really appreciated their willingness to help after we had been without AC for a few days. It's worth noting that I called around to get pricing for this work, and Air Tech was on the higher side of the spectrum for their labor costs; however, I'm happy we decided to use them because they went out of their way to be immediately available and the quality of work seems to be excellent. I'm not an AC expert, but as soon as they left, we had a cool house! I decided to use them over other HVAC contractors I contacted because of all the great reviews, because they didn't charge a service fee just to come look at our system, and because they were highly available. I hope this review may help someone else.

They provide really good service. They came out promptly and he fixed the unit quickly. It was a blessing because you cannot survive in Houston without AC.

When I said that I needed a 2nd opinion, she (JJ) replied that I must pay a $129 service charge, since she must send a technician out. Since THIS was the 3rd company I called for the 2nd opinion, AND neither of those DEMANDED a up front service charge for a 2nd opinion; therefore, this review is being produced.14302

Fixed the issue but gouged on service charge. Itemized two things on the invoice: $289 for the capacitor and $329 for the hard startup kit. The fair range price for such work is $300 max.

The technician and I was just telling this to my friend today because we were talking about services and so forth. In our discussion, I told him the last time that Air Tech came out , I have three units here at my house. He told me the last unit in the upstairs but basically it was dangerous if I continued not having the work done that was needed. It is my stupidity and I dont get great understanding sometimes. that really got me. I said dangerous if I don't get that done. I don't like that. I did not like him saying that it is so damn dangerous. Another thing I realized after checking out all my equipment. I looked it up. I did not go up into my attic, all three attics to look at stuff because I do not know what the hell I am looking at anyway. I bought two units and I have been in this house since '03. I thought Air Tech has sold me two units. I never got a second opinion on any of them. Here he said it is dangerous to allow this condition whatever the h*ll it was to continue. I do my annual check up and thought I am going to get someone else. I am going to get a second opinion. I call this other company because Air Tech has me buying all of this equipment. I know they are probably working on commissioned to get homeowners to buy a whole outfit of equipment. This guy, I know he has checked, they are experienced with me. I went to this other company. After having said all that, I went to this other company, I never got a second opinion. This kid went through the house and did what he needed to do. I never got that second opinion because I thought about the charge of them to do that. I just had the work done. I was talking to my friend about that today and he said yeah second opinion. So, I am going to that from here on out. As far as I am concerned they did excellent work.

The tech showed up 4 hours late, letft the cap off the drain line of one of my units. When I came home, water was pouring out of the uncapped drain line into the ceiling, making a hole in the ceiling and completely flooding the carpet in my bedroom. I spoke with 3 different people there, and they said it wasn't their fault/problem, and they could send someone out to look at it, but it would be another $129 service call. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH.

Air Tech did an outstanding job. They were comparable in price to other companies but with better equipment/service/responsiveness. The fact they could do a complete AC replacement the same day I called them (when other companies had at least a several day wait) was impressive. They turned up with a huge crew. Everyone was very nice and they cleaned up after the job was done.
