We found this company through some weekly mail advertising and called to get an appointment. A girl took my info and then someone called right back. Good so far. Got a call from them wanting to send their guy over early since they were in the area. That was fine as we were there, My husband met this man who insisted on letting him know several times that he was from the marketing division of the company but he was so mad by the time he left he didn't remember his name. Before even measuring he noticed that my husband was himself putting hardy on the lower half of the home. He said " Oh so you want us to finish what you couldn't do". Rude to say the least, also wrong. My husband told him he was doing fine and he only needed the 2nd story section done. So the guy preceded to measure and when he had a number he came down and showed my husband his calculator. The number was not bad but then my husband until he asked him if that included wrapping the second story in plywood prior to putting on the hardi. Mr. Marketing proceded to curse at my husband. "F**** no, are you kidding" is what he said. That was pretty much that since my husband had had enough by that time. He left without giving us an estimate or card (other than showing us his calulator). It wasn't a hard decision to drop them from the list.
