Ken and crew did the neighbors fence last year and I was impressed with the quality, so I asked for a card and kept it until I was ready to replace my fence. After initially calling Ken, he quickly came out and provided an estimate, which was broken down so that you know how much you will pay and how much your neighbor will pay, provided you have neighbors who are interested in splitting the cost with you. After getting the estimate, I called Ken about a week later to give the project the green light. Construction started about a week after that, and there was a slight delay in getting the project started, but nothing that was unreasonable by any means and Ken was quick to keep me informed. Once they arrived, they dropped the hammer and quickly had the old fence out and then set the posts for the new fence. Came back the next day and framed it and got the pickets up. Took a few hours on the third day to finish the gate, as well as a gate for a neighbor (replaced the section that went between our houses. Overall, they did a great job and the fence looks amazing. They cleaned up after themselves , which I appreciate because nothing is worse than a sloppy contractor. Thankfully I shouldn't need a fence for a long time now, but if I did, I would not hesitate to contact Affordable Fence and deal with Ken and his crew.

Excellent, professional service at a reasonable price. My co-worker gave me Ken's contact information as she had used Affordable fencing when she replaced her fence 5 years ago. I also found the service to be very professional and would also highly recommended using the company to replace your fencing. The quality was excellent and the price was easily comparable to other companies that just used day labor. I wanted a quality job at a reasonable price, not a cheap job that I would regret in 2 years. Thankfully Affordable fence provided both! I received an very high quality job at at a very reasonable price! I had 3 different bids for the work and Affordable was in the middle of the estimates, based on cost per foot, however from viewing my co-workers fence and the quality of the others workmanship, I could tell the quality was much higher. Ken (owner) was on site directing the work and building the gates. Ken custom built 2 gates that are very heavy duty and should last years. All of the pickets, post and latches are very high quality. I am very pleased with the quality of the fence and want to recommend to others. If you are looking to have your wooden fence replaced, I would highly recommend Affordable Fencing!

Ken and his crew showed up on time and worked about a half day to complete the job. The old fence was removed along with the cement supports (which were pretty deep). He had to improvise on the job in order to make the new section match the height of the existing wood fence, but he came up with a good idea that worked and looks great! At my request, he ordered clear cedar boards to match the existing fence and dog-eared each picket. There is very little spacing between the pickets, which is good for a privacy fence. I asked him to secure the fence to the existing fence in order to make it more secure, which he was glad to do. Ken instructed me on the best way to seal the fence, and recommended the appropriate sealer, which I had used before. The final product looks fantastic and is a definite asset since this section faces the street. I have used Affordable Fence several years ago and was happy to use them again for this job. I know I will get a quality job at a reasonable price.

We haven't decided yet. They were really prompt and we didn't have any issues. They came out within a couple of days. Their price was right on with everybody else and it wasn't out of line. He came out and measured and did what we asked. I think we may use them.

Ken Wheeler is the owner. He is a perfectionist. They used a level on the vertical pickets, the top is absolutely straight, and they brought in dirt to fill any gaps in the bottom. He uses cedar for the fence, and they used stainless steel nails to prevent corrosion. Overall, the project took 2 days. They were very neat. I had some things against the fence so the dog wouldn't get out, and they pulled everything up to a nice neat row. They used a safe weather protector on the cedar, which was very environmentally clean. I would hire him again, and his price was right.
