Description of Work: If you are looking for a quick, cheap fix on a fence this is who to call. Melissa was prompt with quote, on was on site for the job. I have a small fence with a gate that needed replacement. My daughter needed a large fence for a corner lot. We both had very reasonable quotes and based on reviews at this site decided to have the jobs done. The wood is a very low grade, many boards are split by nails. Slats were placed with varying size gaps, allowing for anyone in front yard to see clearly into back yard. My daughter's husband had to point out to workmen that the frame work was not level. Both gates gave the men problems. Melissa suggested we reuse the hardware to save money. My exterior latch is now missing the thumb latch and they left a gaping hole in the frame work that defeated the purpose of the interior locking mechanism. I had to show them a better fix for the problem than what they were attempting to do. My daughter's gate was hung with the hinges on the opposite side of the original fence, making it awkward to keep gate open for entering. They used some nails that were too long so they pounded them done on the yard side of the fence. When this was questioned, her answer was that makes the fence more secure in storms. From the street the fences look okay, but while staining the wood the inferior workmanship is evident. Very disappointed and would not use this company again.

+ -1 more1. This company does not follow it's contract. Signed contract was for two payment of $1463.91. Upon finish, additional cost of $325.00 was demanded. Contract says "Any alteration or deviation from above specification involving cost will be executed only upon written order". I did not write such request. One limb was removed and I was charged for having to have roots cut. I would think that an experience contractor would have foreseen cutting roots since they did not use the same post holes. Had I been asked I would have trimmed the limb myself. 2. There seemed to be animosity when my husband asked them to hammer down the nails extending on the other side of board. 3. They hammered nails into neighbors vinyl siding to attach a board to cover the fact that picket was not installed to post in proper position. 4. The rear entry gate latch was incorrectly installed. We can not padlock it. 5. The front entry gate bottom is so high that my dogs can escape. 6. I expect these gates to sag within the year. 7. For the rot board, They used decking board not intended for ground contact then piled soil against them. 8. There was a gross excess of over-ordering supplies that they took without asking. *9. If a contractor "conveniently" walks off with both copies of the signed contract and doesn't send a copy online as promised...You are being set up for the BAIT and SWITCH!!!!!!! .
Description of Work: Tear down and replace 100 linear foot fence with two gates. Tear down and remove two structures.

+ 3 moreI liked her very much but she was too expensive. She gave me three or four prices. She did follow up and offered a match but she couldn't give as good as the bill I got. I didn't get back with her and I went with somebody else. She was very nice, timely, and professional; she just came in way out of our budget. I would consider her for another quote or a job.
Description of Work: She gave me a bid. It was for drywall painting, door replacement, bathroom vanity replacement, and kitchen installation; it was basically for home renovation.

+ 6 moreI can't tell you how blessed I am that we were able to find Melissa. When we bought our new house a little over a year ago, we needed a lot of work. From replacing the fencing around the yard to plumbing repairs to aesthetic stuff (fixing drywall, changing out ceiling fans, etc), Melissa has been there and done it all successfully. We have worked with Melissa for ongoing repairs and she is always quality, responding quickly and respecting my time. Most importantly, you have to trust your contractors. I would consider Melissa a friend and have trusted my children here at home with her as well while I have run errands. I have given her the key to my house without reservation and she has always treated my home as her own. I can't say enough great things about Melissa!
