Do yourself a favor and avoid this business. Simply put, you get what you pay for. They put a gate up for me, at a great price, and it was fine for a few months until it started squeaking. The owner said he would come by and take a look. We set an appointment time and he never showed up. He didn't call or anything...just didn't...show...up. Now, he won't even answer the phone! It's like he is scared of his clients. Whatever I saved in my initial cost, I will probably make up in repair costs later on down the road. I found these people using BBB, thinking they would be reputable. So, the lesson to learn here is that the BBB is a joke and never trust a so-called "BBB Accredited" business. And especially don't trust Mario and his company, Affordable Automatic Gates. Customer service is the true test of a company's quality and it doesn't get much worse than ignoring/misleading your customers.

The company came highly recommended from a friend so I called the company for a quote and and received voicemail so I called the cell phone number also listed on the webpage - Mario answered his cell and said he could come out that very afternoon to provide us with a quote. His quote for a driveway gate, motor, two door openers and a key pad and some fencing came in lower than other companies. We called him back a few days later and said that we were ready to commit. He came back that very night to sign the forms and collect the deposit (about 1/3 the total cost). The next day he came back and began the job - cementing in the pots,. The following week our gate was built at his shop and then he and his team returned and installed it. They worked really hard to make sure everything looked great and worked well and even routed electricity around our chimney so that the wires didn't show. They were so quick to respond to our calls and the job got done very quickly, professionally, and efficiently as well. It was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend this company.
